As a stranger on the internet, I just want to put it out there, you're doing really well. I and everyone else (including the detractors) appreciate the work you're putting in and the actual community response.
Please do not let the salty, on-tilt, detractors get you down and remember to actually take some time for yourself in your vacation and don't burn out. I know you American's don't get much Vacation and in Game Dev it's probably up there with some really terrible hours.
For what my 2 cents is worth (not much), here is my positive feedback that I hope will counter balance some of the hate.
This is the first COD since BO2 that I have actually played beyond a couple of weeks. Since launch, I have nearly 8 days of play time and this game is one of my favourites ever. I'll happily concede to detractors that there have been issues ( that recon drone officer mission is my last ribbon darn it! :P ) but everyone seems to forget that the devs fix them pretty darn quick.
I've written some software for internal company use and I can see bug tickets that I haven't fixed for 4 months that are relatively frustrating (note: this has made me remeber this fix this today) but due to time and staffing I just can't justify the time to fix it. Cycling back to the point, I am glad that you guys are so on top of actual bugs and issues. :)
I'd be happy to send you nice bottle of scotch as a personal thanks if you wanted to pm me a location someone would recieve it, or I could just address it to C/O artpeasant to office reception ha!
Enjoy the break mate, stay strong!
