Honestly I can wait a few weeks until my frustration goes down and patches and fixes and done.
Even though i was very much looking forward to playing MW finally, a couple of weeks more is not going to change anything for me personally

I do however find it completely insane we get no update whatsoever from IW about any of the current complaints.

How is it possible that the biggest AAA release of the year, gets almost 0 response or recognition of valid complaints towards the community? This Subreddit is the "developer-supported, community-run subreddit "

I completely understand they can not address everything discussed in here or solve any of these issues within the coming days. Filtering valid from the invalid issues must be insanely difficult with so much feedback.

But just a simple "We hear you" Or even "This is not going to happen since the game was designed otherwise" would help with understanding their POV.

Right now I'm under the impression this is actually a marketing strategy, hence the title "Silence is golden"
Where they know there are issues and are working on them, but purposely do not say anything because it will hurt the sales in the first release weeks.

tl;dr: I don't mind the issues, it's frustrating but I can wait. But please let us know you value our feedback.

Really appreciate this, OP. We’ve been working on updates and patches for everything we’ve been seeing and plan to roll these out within the next few days.

Feedback comes in from everywhere, so we prioritize from most concerning issues, like crashes, unable to run the game, etc., and go down the list from there. Once changes from the team have been made, we pull them into a patch or a title update, depending on what the fix is.

The Known Issue list on Activision’s Support blog is a great way to see some of the issues that we’re working on along with threads you see tagged with “Infinity Ward reply inside.” We can post them here moving forward so there’s more eyes on it.
