I completely dig the way you can combine different camos with the Waifu Oden. Reminds me of the South African graffiti style from Die Antwoord in Chappie. South African gang style.

Lol, jk.. but seriously, it would be great to be able to use skins across different weapons. I know it seems kind of counter intuitive, considering that each individual gun is bought in one bundle, but wouldn't it make more sense because of that? It's like we'd be paying for the skin, that happens to come with said weapon, but would be able to use said skin across multiple guns. Maybe limited to the gun category it originally came with?

I've seen other people talk about this. It'd be really great. Also, you're right: I first thought of SA graffiti when mixing and matching skins with camos, lol. Love chappie.

At some point in the future we are hoping to let you combine different blue print attachments together to Frankenstein weapons and then apply different camos. Its really buggy though so I dont have an answer as to when we would be able to push out an update for it but we are trying to work the problem.

We can try different things but there are "millions, not sure:)" of permutations of weapons in the game there isnt enough memory or man hours to tackle every combo that comes with a blueprint. The best we can do is try and make things a bit more versatile while sticking to our constraints.

We cant cover that kind of a visual spread. Sorry. I like to use camos to pull my blueprints together.

You're right we had it in the Beta. It has some nasty bugs that we are working through but what you are describing is our goal.

  1. If a blueprint has a unique visual element it should be kept when you change the attachments. On the muddy M19 if you change the barrel the pistol is no longer muddy so the variant is ruined, it should have a longer barrel with mud on it. Having bought many blueprints I have now stopped as when I put my setup on they all end up looking the same/similar.

3a. The SCAR has the whole upper body change when you change the barrel. This is unnecessary as the body seems unchanged and ruins the legendary tiger camo.

Have you ever thought of doing a perk or a kilstreak that would allow to run all possible attachment of a weapon to the detriment of losing mobility or secondary weapon use? In other words if the weapon allows to upgrade 7 items, the perk would enable you to run all of them for as long as you don't get killed. This could be setup in similar fashion to how pro mode is set for field upgrades and kilstreaks.

Idk, just an idea I figured I could pitch since you've been so kind to directly engage with the community.

Ive never personally thought of something like this but Im not a designer:) Interesting feedback and concept though. I dont mind mentioning it to my MP Design friends.
