[2020] Why are custom guns called Blueprints? There’s no “blueprints” involved.

I’ve unlocked several “blueprints” for guns, but it’s starting to eat at my brain that they’re called blueprints...yet a blueprint is just a two-dimensional design on paper.

These are just custom guns. A blueprint would imply that we need to unlock parts to complete said blueprint. Instead they just give you a gun and call it a blueprint.

Doesn’t make much sense to me.
