[2022] Keep getting kicked: "Your rank exceeds this server's limit"

So I'm a new player to Mordhau, bought the game like three/ four days ago and matchmaking has been working as intended (love the game btw!); however, all of today, I've been getting an error kicking me from matches for no apparent reason.

Here's the lead-up to the error:

1. I queue and join a match perfectly fine
2. Play through the duration of the match without error
3. Once the match is over, I vote for the next map as normal
4. The loading screen for the next map begins, then I'm sent back to the main menu with this error message

This error keeps happening even after restarting my game and PC. Any solution to fix this?
