When I notice someone complaining that their team is bad (because they're losing) in frontline, more often than not they'll complain that they're the only one standing on the point. I'll quickly give the ol' tab button a smash and the complainer almost inevitably has a k/d of less than 1.0, often much worse.

When I notice this, I'll often chime in that the team might be better served with the player getting some kills instead of chatting and complaining to their "bad" team, and I'm almost immediately met with an onslaught of insults that include the argument that k/d doesn't mean anything in frontline.

Now I'm not great by any means, but I find that in frontline at least I can hold my own. And I've felt that often when my team is winning, we seem to be getting the lion's share in kills. So I thought it would be interested to look at k/d ratios on winning and losing teams. So far, this is a very small sample size that only accounts for the top 21 players on each team (that's all the data I have available). However, winning seems to have a correlation to the team with a higher k/d. In fact, the two games I've tallied show that a higher discrepancy in k/d between teams seems to mean a more thorough ass-whooping.

I plan to at least account for 10 games, maybe more to see if there are any outliers or if the trend holds true. Feel free to do the same if you're interested in seeing if you're better off being a player going 5-14 and complaining, or if you should shut up and kill some guys. =D

TL;DR: Yes it goddamn does.
