[2019] Experiencing an extremely annoying bug causing the game to hang on a loading screen every time I purchase an item. The level 35 banner has also failed to unlock.

I get an indefinite loading indicator and have to ALT + F4 and relaunch to resolve it. I still receive the item once I've done this, but it's becoming extremely cumbersome having to exit and restart every time I want a new item.

Is anyone else suffering from this and does anyone know a solution? Despite being level 36 the Gothic 2 banner also hasn't unlocked.
