TL:DR at end added
Currently, it is basically impossible to defend any peasants in 'defend the peasants' objective as someone can chuck a fire pot throw a window/ door for a second and it will kill the peasant. This makes them basically a guaranteed win for the attacking side if the objective is to only kill peasants like in Feitoria in stage 3 or somewhat like in grad in stage 1.
The solution to this is to make peasant immune to fire damage.
The only 'counters' are smoke bombs/ intercepting the attacks/barricading the windows before they can throw the fire pot. All of these counters, however, are minimally effective and in reality do not work.
Smoke bombs will run out and there will eventually be a opening to firebomb the peasant when the smoke pot throwers are out of smoke, and on average the only people who carry smokes are engineers (who normally only carry 1 if that) and a few meme builds while there are many more dedicated fire pot throwers. Even if there was a dedicated smoke thrower, it is likely that he would run out of ammo against the fire pots/ get unlucky when he needs to run away to grab more ammo.
Intercepting the firebomb throwers will occasionally work however due to their speed (most being 0/0/0 or 1/1/1 users) and numerous attacks they will often be able to get a fire pot thrown even if they are alone. If they are not alone or the defenders outside have died, which will eventually happen, the fire pot will get thrown and the peasant will die.
Barricading the windows is the best solution however it also doesn't really work. The engineer will need smoke to extinguish the fires as the barricade will get engulfed in fire and the engineer (even with fireproof) can only repair 1 fire pot worth of fire on top of the barricade before they need more health to continue repairs. After this a smoke grenade is needed which runs into the before mentioned issue of lack smoke/ammo which will inevitably happen. The firebomb thrower then chucks another fire pot at the barricade, destroys it and throws another one past its flaming rubble onto the peasant. This strategy also often required multiple barricade per window as the barricades have a hole in the middle of them that the fire pot can go through which heavily limits the engineers ability to defend else where.
TL:DR Even while playing optimally the defending team cannot realistically win against fire pot throwers when trying to defend the peasants which is unfair and more importantly not fun as the attackers can breeze through the objective/ defenders get stomped despite their best efforts.
The worst offender here is Feitoria in stage 3, the beautiful city section can not be enjoyed if the game ends 4 minutes after it gets there in invasion. Grad in stage 1 also has this issue.
Please fix this issue, great work otherwise though.
