Placing wall plans over live fish kills them, placing their meat and bones on the nearest shore. I originally found this while planning to fill a bit of water in, only to discover I accidentally killed a fish somehow. So, I tested and planned a dirt wall over another fish, killing it and depositing its parts neatly on the shore, despite it being near the center of a lake.
