[2020] Hovering with a mouse over items in the toolbar or map won't reveal names/text anymore?

I'm trying out this game for the first time after getting in a bundle and I'm very excited! For some reason though, whenever I start the game now, hovering over, say, different jobs in the toolbar with my mouse won't reveal which job is which, such as Harvest, Chop, etc. The same is with different items I can build or plant with; if I hover over an item with my mouse, it won't tell me what it is like it used to. Although I can kind of infer some items with the pictures provided, it used to tell me the picture of the carrots were carrot seeds or a picture of wood was a wooden wall once I hovered over it with my mouse. Also, when I'm trying to harvest different plants on the map and hovering over the highlighted options, it won't tell me what the plants are anymore, like blackberry bushes and such. I'm very new to the game and I kind of still need help knowing what's what in the toolbar. Did I accidentally click something to turn this function off? Any suggestion of a fix would be greatly appreciated because I really would love to continue playing this game!
