First off, the game is a lot of fun. Good job, and please keep working on it.

I had a mix of overground farms w/ mushrooms and a large underground one. Come winter my overground farm stops producing and the underground one consumes all my spores and produces no more... I've 40+ starving settlers now. :( Looks like the overground farm was producing spores, but the underground one isn't.

Also, building a fence next to a tree got the settler that built the fence stuck in the fence. They died from dehydration before I figured out they were stuck.

Side note: a lot of my food is rotting. It would be nice to have food options that last longer. e.g. an option to make Preserves in the kitchen, which last longer (in real life preserves can last years) than normal cooked meals do. As a trade off they can take longer to produce, and/or maybe consume water (for boiling) and glass (for packaging them in bottles).

Hmmm, they *should* produce spores underground. I'll test it out to see why they wouldn't be spawning. Thanks for letting me know.

As for the stuck in fences, ya, I'm going to put a fix out for this next patch.

Lastly, you can prolong the time it takes for food to decay by putting them in containers. The Icebox prop is especially good for this. We will be adding more foods that can last longer as well.
