External link →There are big plans for a 'kingdoms' update this year. It will add some extra features to the overworld map so players can establish multi-tile (or just the one tile if desired) settlements. You'll be able to establish relationships with other kingdoms/states, and that would open up trade, migrations, or possible lead to conflict.
