[2022] Tomes of Arcana as Humans

I heard the only ways you can actually get your hands on tomes of Arcana as Humans is by looting Ancient settlements or getting them by traders. Is it true ? I can’t believe the magical skills/professions options on human settlers is just decoration

Is there any way to “force” them to work on magic things to eventually end up producing the tomes on the current version ? Btw I saw a vid where someone makes it happen by producing ice blocks repeatedly but now it seems the ice walls production switched to the Misc category of skill or something…
