If, when you try and run Odd Realm, you get a pop up window that says something along the lines of, "App is damaged and can't be opened," it's because the game isn't notarized yet. (I am currently working on getting it notarized.)
Here's how you can fix the issue on your side:
1. Go to the app download location. For me, that's /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Odd Realm
2. Right-click the folder Odd Realm and select New Terminal at Folder
3. Type "xattr -rc OddRealm.app/" into the terminal (without the quotes) and hit enter
4. Type "sudo chmod -R 777 OddRealm.app" (Option if 3 doesn't work, you might have to do both)
5. RIght-click the OddRealm.app and select "Open" from the context menu.
This should give the application permissions to run on your machine.
Sorry for this annoyance. This is a top priority of mine to notarize the game so this pop up doesn't appear when you try and run the game.
