[Title suggestions welcome]

In a recent livestream, Kieren & Sween responded somewhat positively to the idea of servers for an untouched version of Old School as it existed in August 2007. However, they expressed reasonable concern that such a service might divide the playerbase, and offered seasonal 2007 servers an alternative.

I think they should take that idea and run with it for the next League: Vanilla (again, better titles are welcome). Leagues III would drop players into a copy of RuneScape as it existed on August 10, 2007 - no Rooftops, no Motherlode, no Zeah, etc. This would provide a great gameplay challenge while satisfying one of the biggest requests from the community. Rewards should be scaled based on what was more difficult in 2007 than in 2020 - for example, 99 agility or mining would be worth a LOT of points.

It was just a quick idea, so I'm interested to see this discussed further. My initial thoughts:

Would players want or expect a lot of the QoL that OSRS has seen over the years? Think about things like the Farming timer.

Would the end-game meta be a bit stale? Unless I'm missing something focus would be GWD.
