This may be a temporary problem with RuneLite after the update, can you check if this persists on the Steam Client?
Hello, i have two minor suggestions that would really help for myself as a mobile player.
The tile marker setting that highlights the tile you are walking to, and then dissapears when you arrive. often used on RL for people trying to woox walk.
The standard pc little x that appears when you click, instead of the circle you get on mobile. i find that its harder to pinpoint exactly where ive clicked because the circle icon is so much bigger and doesnt have an intersecting middle like the x.
Are these options you would consider?

This is cool! But Tile Marking is completely broken in the Sire area. Doesn't mark tiles at all. Tried changing the colour and such, didn't work.
I was at Abyssal Sire location. Tried resetting my UI scaling too (as this causes a whole number of weird graphical bugs still, with your health bar overlapping with itself and such). No fix.
EDIT1: seems like the tiles worked at craft guild, POH and in the Sire lobby area. Cannot mark anywhere as soon as the ground changes colour, and I actually just crashed my game by trying to mark a tile on the edge of the walkway.
There are a few things we're aware of that will prevent tile highlights from showing as intended - I guess that the Sire area is one of those) - regarding crashing trying to mark a tile on the edge of the walkway, could you provide any more info of where exactly that was happening?
My world map button is now gone.
Are you using Runelite? This might be the reason you're seeing these issues.
I've got a very newbish question..... sorry for it, but I'd like if some kind soul explained:
The transparent chatbox will now appear the same in the C++ client as it does on the Java client.
So, there are actually 2 OSRS clients right now? I mean, I knew there were PC and mobile clients. Is the PC client C++ or Java?
Also I'm a bit worried that in the beginning of the text you say:
We must stress that right now these features can only be used on the C++ client through Steam, but don’t worry device-tappers – they’ll be arriving on mobile later.
So... it seems like the new client features are either for Steam (now) or for mobile (later). What about regular PC client which can be downloaded from the OSRS site with no access to Steam?
You have the Java-based Vanilla Client, Mobile and the C++ Steam Client. I hope that helps! :)
On desktop, you can now control your FPS-limiting options! Choose between Uncapped, 15FPS, 20FPS, 30FPS & 60FPS.

Anything within the New Client Features section currently only applies to Steam :)
Will these ground markers be saved in your client or your account? So if they are out on mobile, do I have to set the tile markers again?
They are saved to your device, so they won't persist to mobile unfortunately. You can find the saved highlights in %appdata%/local/Jagex/Old School RuneScape, which you'll be able to copy over manually to new clients for the time being.
With the introduction of our new client features, many things have changed.
If you're experiencing issues when using a 3rd party client, consider switching over to the Steam client until they have been fully updated!
Am I missing something? My tile indicators are turned on on the Steam client, yet nothing happens when I shift right click to mark a tile? I tried changing the color of the tile indicator, didn't work. Anyone else having the same problem?
There are certain sorts of areas that we're unfortunately aware of issues highlighting, and are looking at a fix to hopefully release next week - where are you trying to highlight tiles?
Having issues at abyssal sire with tile markers, takes forever to show up if they indeed show up. And couldn't remove them either. Is there any plan to increase draw distance?
Abyssal sire is unfortunately an area mapped in a rather interesting way, which has some problems with marking tiles. Hopefully that will be resolved next week - curious about them showing up after some time, and being unable to be removed, though! I'll have a look into that.
As for draw distance, I wouldn't like to make any promises, put any dates on it, etc., but it's something we're very keen on, yeah.
I logged in and only tested it at GE and DN, neither seemed to work so I thought the setting was just busted for me. I'll try some other spots to confirm.
Edit: Just outside GE works, but the actual GE floor does not for me.
Yeah, unfortunately the raised floor of the Grand Exchange is mapped in a slightly strange way, which is the sort of area we're aware of having issues. That'll hopefully be resolved next week, with any luck!
Also at sire, to describe it in words it was the "pink fleshy areas" that surround the walkway, but i was also clicking quite rapidly trying different tiles to see if i could get one to work, so it was possibly combining lots of bad requests on tiles that "don't work".
Sorry I would report these in game but could only quickly check the client out before heading off.
I can't seem to reproduce the crash, annoyingly - there was a known crash in an old version of the client, so it may be possible that you'd booted up before the update was pushed. If you can reproduce it again another time, I'd really appreciate any extra information so that I can keep investigating!
Demonsbane spells are so mediocre. They really should be meta for mage, yet they are barely better than a trident.
Please:
Remove the 1t delay with autocasting - The few bosses this would be decent at - e.g. Sire - are marred by the need to manually cast this every time. You can just left click with a trident. It's just bad, especially when dodging poison pools/bombs etc
Make greater corruption 100% accuracy/do damage/work like charge. Splashing these over and over to achieve the DPS boost that you wont see for several ticks isn't fun.

So, the features are only for Steam users? Meh.
We're testing them out on Steam before releasing them into the main client and mobile. :D
