These changes sound good to me, however I still feel like the emergency teleport should at least be polled to hardcore regular ironman and not just hardcore group ironman. Especially when you even mention how it devalues the achievement for non gim hardcore players. Also why is the house teleport chosen as a right click on the home teleport instead of on the teleport to house icon?

The intention is for these teleport crystals to apply to all accounts, so they'd be open to voting on by affected players, so the focus is on HCGIM. We've not set in stone the polling strategy yet though, hence no poll questions included in this iteration.

Also to note: most of these areas aren't actually considered a dangerous death for standard HCIM, so the use of the crystals isn't really required to remain safe.

That's a fair enough reason to vote no, but keep in mind there are often times that are out of a players control which these crystals will assist with.

Most of these sound nice, but it would be nice if more focus was put on updating the core game (i.e. non group iron).

We agree on the non GIM content and it's something we're taking into account with our 2022 roadmap.

They would still need to be online, but would no longer need to be inside the house to allow you access.

The teleport to other peoples houses would be massive. Then the entire team can set their house in different locations than just all of us having it in rellekka.

I'd love for this to be in the game

Yeah there's quite a lot you can do with it, even with the being online restriction in place!

As a regular account player, I’m essentially in a group with all other regular accounts. If group iron players are allowed to teleport directly to other group members’ houses, can I be allowed to teleport directly to the houses of the other members of my (significantly larger) group?

The PoH changes would apply to everyone, not just GIM accounts :)

I read this as only hardcores - does 'affected players' then just mean everyone?

Sorry, I changed my reply to be more accurate to the blog wording. Apologies for that!

What is different about the teleport shards compared to other one click teleports such as teletabs/seed pod? I don't see the need for them if options already exist..

These teleport crystals can be used on other players (with the correct settings enabled), whereas traditional teleport methods require you to be the one using them.

They can help if you notice a fellow hardcore no longer interacting with the game.

Unrelated but can you look into Ordan's shop at Blast Furnace, Currently all the Blast Furnace worlds for UIM have been ragged and overstocked. Please look into this, resetting the shop/lowering the restock timer/not allowing ore to be sold.

It takes 16 hours and 40 minutes for the stock to drop by 1.
Which means someone can just sell around 15 ore to each world and it'll be unusable for a week until the system update.

I'll discuss this with the Operators in our next meeting together - thanks for raising.

Glad to hear. Finally some clarity and someone speaks on it. When can we know what's in the works?

I'm working on trying to get the roadmap surfaced to you all asap! Hoping it won't be too long but I can't give an exact date at the moment.

Thats wonderful, however GIM was never supposed to take away from main game development or impact that main game in anyway.

Here we are 2 months later and it feels as if every blog and uodate over the last 8 weeks has beem about and for GIM.

The blatant lies are not a good thing.

I don't think it's fair to say that we've been putting out blatant lies.

I can fully understand why it seems that way though, and I appreciate the frustration surrounding lack of content. We all feel it too, but what we've said is the truth.

In terms of our actual development work, GIM hasn't taken away from anything we've been working on. Leagues was meant to be out now, and no content was planned surrounding it. With the launch delay to accommodate the huge success of GIM, there was a void left in our roadmap which is what we're all experiencing now.

So yes, GIM has caused other content to move around, but it didn't take away from any dev work. Just poor planning on our side which we're hoping to rectify in 2022.

I’m going to guess no but will group slayer ever be reintroduced? GIM seems like a great opportunity for it.

There are no plans for it at the moment, but I'd like to see it back (so would many in the team). We need to make sure we have a design that cannot be abused easily.

Glad to hear it'll be a help for your group :)

Nothing for months other than a nex updated blog to keep us happy

When will we find out when the winter summit is? You keep telling us "we're doing x for 2022" yet we're yet to hear much, when do we find out whats in store. It's becoming increasily frustrating. When is the the raids 3 updated reward blog? These are the questions we want answered not MORE gim stuff put out.

Raids 3 updated blog is hopefully coming in December, and I'm working on plans that should allow us to share our roadmap for 2022 with you all.

I know this is just all words at the moment, but we are getting there and I do feel like 2022 is going to be much, much different.

Really? That's... interesting. In any case, the header "Teleport to group member's house" doesn't make it very clear that that change would apply to everyone.

We'll make sure to have it clarified better when the poll questions get added - thanks for the feedback!

Edit: made a lil edit to the newspost to make it a bit clearer.

By allowing Group Iron players to visit other members' houses while they're not at home, we'll also be able to offer this functionality for non-Group Iron players. Should you be allowed to visit your friend's house if they're not at home? Let us know what you think.

At the moment, no. I understand it would take a considerable amount of work, essentially rewriting how the PoH system works. That would mean content for 2022 gets pushed back.

Leagues was meant to be out now, and no content was planned surrounding it.

Using leagues delay as an excuse is being disingenuous. Leagues was delayed because of GIM. So this void is directly because of GIM.

I thought I covered that with these line here:

With the launch delay to accommodate the huge success of GIM, there was a void left in our roadmap which is what we're all experiencing now.

So yes, GIM has caused other content to move around
