(Update) They let me recover my account! I appreciate everyone that supported me! Love you guys!!!Hey guys! Please give me a break on the toxicity, I know it's no ones fault but my own, but im going through enough and I don't know what else to try lol. I can't recover my account because I had made like 6 HCIM in a row, so a new email for each. Outlook locked my account not even a month after creating it and won't let me recover the account because I have never sent an email on it, and don't have the phone I used to have when i created it. I have over 30000 screenshots, 6tbs of game footage on a hard drive, countless facebook posts of my gains. Logged in every single day for 5 years and now I have been locked out due to suspicious activity. I know the login email, the password, the 2 step authenticator, i know the accounts login schedule, I can name every kc i landed notable drops off the top of my head, I knoow every name change, and i have the transaction IDs from buying membership using the email i am trying to get it swapped to. No one else is trying to recover it, only me, every single day, and they have not had any other requests, so obviously the account is mine. I have an ely on this account, I just learned solo cox. I have worked so hard on this account and I dont know where else to turn. I'm devastated. I was told to try here. Hoping maybe some community support could get jagex's attention and I can get my account back. Thank you to anyone who tries to help.

Hey, Jagex Support here!

Without looking at your account, I can't say for certain what is happening here, but if your account has not yet been upgraded to a Jagex Account and you're recovering through the legacy recovery system, you do not need access to the registered email to do so.

In order to unlock your account:
1. Head to this page

  1. Enter your login

  2. Click the 'RECOVER' button

  3. You will see an on-screen message that's headed 'CHECK YOUR EMAIL', as you don't have access to the registered email click 'contact Jagex Support' on the same webpage and complete the form with as much information as possible.

If your requests are being auto-denied, it means you're not providing enough correct information, if the requests are taking a day or so and then getting denied, it's been manually reviewed and denied due to a lack of information.

I understand that getting requests denied is frustrating, but it's an important part of our security process to prevent hijackers from accessing an account in this way.

If you're still having issues after following the above, could you please reach out to the team using the form on the bottom of this page so we can see what we can do to help.

If your account was already a Jagex account then there is no manual recovery method. Jagex accounts were created with increased account security in mind, and as part of this approach, we acted on player feedback to remove the old account recovery system due to concerns about historic data compromise from other websites being used by hijackers.

While we appreciate your RuneScape character(s) are your main focus here, this ultimately is something you will need to contact your email provider about regarding accessibility to your email address and subsequently your Jagex Account.

If you can clarify whether or not your account had been upgraded and provide the RSN, I can take a look.
