I got my Fire Cape thanks to Scurrius

A little background I played RuneScape regularly from 2005 until EOC, with my account being modest at best. I started playing old school around my 30th birthday and loved the nostalgia it gave me and at the time set a long term goal to get the item I had always dreamed of having as a kid.

Today I fulfilled that goal and I can honestly say that Scurrius made it possible for me. The only “bossing” content I’ve ever done in OSRS is that giant rat. From managing overheads to prioritizing adds even managing my resources, the Rat King taught me all of it and I didn’t even realize I was learning it. Sure I watched guides and all and yes that definitely helped. My brother even streamed a run talking me through it on a slayer task. But the biggest help by far was THE rat.

TLDR: Giant rat great content and I got my fire cape.
