And finally, we will allow multiple RuneScape accounts to be merged into a single Jagex account so that all your characters can be accessed with one set of login credentials. At that point, there will be a character selection and management screen in-game, and creating a new character will require just a single click.
Are membership requirements staying the same? As in we still have to buy membership for each account? I doubt it’s changing but the way this is worded makes me wonder..
As far as I am aware, the way membership works for multiple accounts will be staying the same.
They obviously mean it’s enhanced protection against bots trying to force their way into accounts..

Soooooo when is this actually happening? It all sounds great but can we get some kind of timeframe?
As I understand it, all of the improvements listed in this post are scheduled for completion this year.
I'm hopeful we'll be able to provide an actual timeframe for these soon. We have a lot in the works including a timeline that will be shared in due course!

Yes it will be possible to multi-log in the future via the Jagex Launcher :)
