[2020] how does name changing work?

i kinda want to change my name but in the account management it says "next free change in 6+ days" but on the website going to account settings and clicking on name change it says the date when i can change my name but also it says "redeem a bond in-game to change name instantly" or something like that so i claimed my bond but it still doesnt let me change my name

Members can change their name once each month. Once you change your name you'll see a countdown until the next time you can change it.

You can redeem a bond (by choosing the option for name change) to reset the timer.

If you did redeem a bond then it's possible you chose the wrong option (like the membership instead).
