Old player's report after one week of play

Hey all,

So I started on a members account, and it is glorious! I want to thank all of you sooooo much! I got so much love since I made the other post. So much advice and company and even stuff and coins too. Even got myself a clan with so much boomer dad energy that I feel right at home.

Only ever played F2P before so I was not aware exactly how big the members world is. Everyone was crazy about teleports and I thought "eh, whatever". Then I had to walk to Ardougne for the first time. Oh god the pain. So teleports it is, sonny, teleports. Got so much jewlery I feel like the queen of England or something. Plus the members' game is so much more alive and full and purposeful. It's honestly amazing.

I got totally carried away by having so much fun, initially planned to only play casual, well now 6 days later I am mining Mithril with my rune pickaxe in the motherlode mine to which I can tp with my 43 magic. This kind of xp back in the day took me maybe 6-7 months. On the other hand I may or may not have forgotten what work looks like. Also my immediate irl plan is to play the "Pick&Shovel" song at home so much my wife will file for divorce. Or decide to join in. I'll let you guys know which one it'll be.

I got the runelite client since this was by far the #1 advice I got and I can see why. Quest helper is golden plus all the calculators. So incredibly fun. Plus the members quests can give sooooo much xp! I went to almost 40 attack without hitting a thing (except them chickens, but they had it coming). I guess pen waterfall bungee jumping is mightier than the sword.

So yeah, I'm having a blast and this is the best game in the world from all the games with mesh triangles that can be counted with naked eye, which is an oddly specific flex but who cares.
