Why is it seen as ok to force engagement with content that most of the player-base just doesn't care about?
SMITHING IS DEAD, ACCEPT IT!
It's so dead that you had to throw blog after blog at it, millions (maybe even billions) of dev hours, and create a whole new way to engage with the activity to the point that it doesn't even feel like the original skill at all!
And the WORST part of it all?!?!
In a desperate attempt to make people care about this dead skill, JaGeX locked a BIS behind this "GIaNTs FouNDrY" to lure players in to be meat puppets for Korvac and his toxic cronies
The Colossal Blade is the best two-handed KO weapon for all types of 60 Attack builds and it's been locked behind a quest AND a skilling minigame?? Excuse me? Why is this MMO forcing me to engage with parts of the world that don't directly benefit my desired playstyle?
I made my 60 Attack, 1 Defense, 52 Prayer, 36 Woodcutting pure to play BOUNTY HUNTER and fight other people in BOUNTY HUNTER. I couldn't care less about this loser Korvac's larp gear
I'm sickened beyond what I thought possible.
I've vomited once, pissed my pants twice, and sh*t myself thrice.
JaGeX WILL revert this and make the Colossal Blade an uncommon drop from Thugs in level 5-10 Wilderness, which would not only absolve them of this crime, but also revitalize the dead tree hill.
I will not be responding to any comments, as I already know it will be nothing but smithing slimes screaming slurs at me and attempts to bait info from me so they can DDOS me in the next skilling cup finals.
