Those of you that have taken Zeah and have gotten the Nature's Respite Reprisal for Melee may have noticed it seems to suck for some reason at some content, such as Fight Caves, Nex, and Olm, where according to calcs it by all means should be performing at least decently, as well as triggering much less echoes than other weapons for those who took Melee masteries.

After some testing in the Leagues discord, we have discovered that the Nature's Respite is completely broken. It's disheartening that this was known since early weekend and has seen no acknowledgement from JMods, especially after they immediately took note of something that was more powerful than expected for the weapons and immediately fixed it.

We thought initially that the weapon was taking from Slash bonus instead of Stab erroneously - because Salamanders normally use Slash . However with testing, this is clearly not the case. Especially since the Echoes proc is also an issue.

The real issue is that it is occasionally turning into a Ranged attack. You can clearly see this in Raids when you attack the Jewelled Crabs in CoX. The crab changes colour based on the combat style used to attack it. When using Melee style on Nature respite, it turns into a disco ball that changes between red and green, which means its for some reason turning into a ranged attack and dropping your accuracy roll to effectively 0 against ranged - so it works ok against enemies who have low Ranged - as it does shred Eclipse moon, for example(while being completely trash at Blood moon - as expected for a non slash weapon).

It would be a bummer if this was not fixed soon, because it puts a damper on those who picked the region to play around with the ranged Melee weapon. I have faith this will be fixed eventually but I would hope it could be a priority since it is a fairly early thing for most players to get due to the boss being easy to get and easy to defeat.

edit: realized I misspelled the weapon name, it's the Nature's Reprisal, brainfart lmao.
