Posting from mobile, so apologies in advance for the terrible formatting and/or spelling errors. Also, I've only been playing this game for a couple weeks now, so please be gentle if I don't quite word things right.
About a week and a half ago. I dropped 2.6 million gold on 70 rune halberds to high alch. 20 of them bought that night, then at midnight (unbeknownst to me), my membership ended. I had shut off auto charge because of some recent financial hardship. The next day I log in, see membership ended, got a little bummed but whatever, I can just do some free to play skilling until I get paid.
As I'm logging on, I get a notification that my 70 'members items' had bought. Cool, I'll stick them in my bank until I can high alch them. When I get to the GE, it only lets me pick up the 20 halberds that had bought the night before. The other 50 were marked as being unsold.
My SO and i puzzle over it a bit, and he does some research and reassures me that it's only showing like that because I'm currently a nonmember. As soon as I get membership back, it should let me take them. That made sense, sounded reasonable enough. So I waited. Today, i got membership back (yay!). When I check GE, the halberds are gone. No trace of them. Check my bank, and the 20 it had let me collect before are still there,but that's it. 50 halberds, $2 million, just gone.
The purchase history shows that I bought 70, and how much I paid. Yet my bank only has the 20 it let me pick up, and my significantly smaller cash stack. I'm extremely upset, to say the least lol. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them. Is there anything I can do to even fix it? Someone in the redditsphere who might be able to help? I'm not sure what to do, and this heavy of a blow is making me hesitate to even play again.
