Note: This is for management and is not a criticism of the mods. The mods are doing God’s work and I appreciate every one of you.

Your game is extortionately expensive for the services you offer.

I pay $132 a year, more than Smash Ultimate, SMM 2 and a year of Nintendo internet combined. For this I get only one profile on a bot-filled spaghetti game that has frequent game breaking bugs. My customer service is a FAQ page. My account security is left entirely to a third party email and any breaches are seen as my fault, even if they go through your system. There is no spokesperson so you constantly send your underpaid devs to gaslight the community whenever sh*t hits the fan.

Your company is a joke. Before you even think about trying to squeeze more money out of us, how about using that effort to make the game actually worth $132/year. And if you really can not, stop insulting the community by withholding the content we are already overpaying for.

We pay for this game because we love it. If you really want to shatter that trust by trying to squeeze pennies out of us, we will leave again. Just like we left RS3.

Edit: thank you guys but gold means little to me. If you want to give an award, please gild/silver people in the comments who are contributing to the discussion.

Edit2: seriously guys, I don’t need almost $40 worth of internet points. If you really want to spend money on my behalf, give it to a charity or cheer a streamer or something.

I think there are some points worth making. Firstly, even if you say this isn't aimed at the OSRS team, they are going to still read and still be hurt by it. That is the nature of having such a passionate team.

Secondly, I don't agree with the idea of OSRS being poor value. When compared with other activities the amount of hours entertainment people get from OSRS is huge. You can easily spend a whole year's subscription going to the cinema 6 times or 2 nights out at a pub. In fact it is inline with Netflix, Nowtv and Amazon Video.

However, that is not to say some things shouldn't be improved.
