We've taken action against the throwaway sabotage accounts and their main accounts too - and we'll keep doing that when we get evidence. In addition to in-game reports send any other supporting evidence through to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) (the anti-cheating mailbox) and/or [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) (my community mailbox - I'll forward anything).
I personally still think the best route would be game content changes to make it more difficult to sabotage but it's tough to find the right suggestions that wouldn't negatively impact the rest of the legitimate players. Previous discussions led to the suggestions of a barricade cap per player, or adding entry requirements (combat/total level) to the minigame - but neither were considered suitable.
Just off the cuff now, but... how would players feel about a combination of the two? A barricade cap, but the amount you can place increases based on combat/total level?
That said I am going to renew the conversation in the (virtual) office this week to see how we could be more proactive in dealing with these types of reports - and in a way that'd avoid what other people in this thread have pointed out, which is the same throwaway/sabotagers misusing any reporting function in retaliation against the legitimate players.
