Hey folks,
Drops access should be rolling out to folks . If you’re not seeing the client, you can try to relog in the Battle.Net launcher.
Please be patient, making sure everyone gets their beta access may take a bit of time

I’ll check with the team, but it’s possible the login servers are under a high load right now
Just so everyone is clear: once we get the drops redemption notification from Twitch, it still takes us a bit of time on the backend to grant access. Especially with how many folks are claiming drops.
Please be patient folks. Access is rolling out, you will not have it immediately after hitting the claim button on Twitch
we’re working on increasing server capacity as we speak
We’ve been seeing folks get in steadily for the last few hours now.
If you’ve been waiting for over an hour now, please double check that your Battle.Net account is linked to your Twitch account. Also, please make sure that you have a license for Overwatch (the retail game) on the account (although if you’re posting here…)
If you add it within the first hour after you redeemed the drop, you shouldn’t have a big delay. Any longer than that will cause significant delays
Hi folks, we’ve been looking into the issue of folks claiming and not receiving their drops several hours later. As soon as I have more information I’ll share it
In the meantime, please follow WyomingMyst’s instructions above if you haven’t already. We’ve seen more than a few anecdotal reports (not enough for me to officially state it as a fix) that refreshing your connection between your Blizzard and Twitch accounts nets positive results
Update, do not do this.
Yes.
Again, and I want to stress this, this isn’t an official fix. I’m relaying what I’ve been seeing in broader community chatter across various platforms
Hey folks,
Do NOT disconnect and reconnect your Blizzard accounts. This may cause further delays.
The TLDR: we are seeing very few errors in granting of the license. The system is processing beta access being granted, however it may take several hours to do so, especially if you connected your Blizz/Twitch accounts later in the day (or after the campaign had begun).
We know that folks are eagerly anticipating playing the beta, and I am sorry if you’re experiencing severe FOMO right now. Please be reassured we’re working through the entire list of claims, and that the beta lasts for over 2 more weeks
I’m still with you folks. Will share updates as soon as I have them.
still here folks.
This issue is high priority and the team is working on it
That is the current plan. We updated frequently during Alpha, and there’s a desire to do similarly for beta
at this point, I might make a hat
As an update, we have finished investigating reports for players who have claimed their Beta drop but not yet received access to the Beta:
I’ll be here monitoring this thread over the next several hours to make sure folks get in
Again, our sincere apologies and we appreciate the entire 5 hour gang
We are currently rerunning the entire list to catch anyone who may have linked their Battle.Net/Twitch accounts late. We estimate that will take at least a few hours
Just to be sure, did you check it again today?
Do not do this. it will add to the delay
still here, still troubleshooting with the team
We’re still here running through the full list. Thanks for hanging in there.
we’re glad to see so many of you getting into game
I’ll be around a bit longer checking on this thread periodically (gotta get my games in too). Hope to see you in game
