1331s good evening and welcome to the Grand
1333s finals day four of the call angle heroes
1336s unite minor 2. I'm tiny shiny joined by
1339s the nerdy bird on the broadcast today we
1342s have had three action-packed days of
1344s gameplay in this tournament to lead up
1347s to the Grand finals three teams are
1349s remaining and our first two look into
1351s book that spot into the grand finals
1353s there's so much on the line today nerdy
1355s bird there's a lot on the line and plus
1358s this is kind of a little bit of a grunge
1360s match slash rematch because previously
1362s these two teams took each other on
1364s brought it down to the wire in map five
1366s Washington Timeless did end up winning
1368s out that series three to two overall but
1371s I mean you and I have talked about it a
1373s little bit here and there drainers and
1375s Timeless both are of course at the end
1377s of the day no one's professionals here
1378s they have they make mistakes and the
1382s unfortunate truth is that the mistakes
1383s of Washington Timeless make versus the
1385s mistakes that the drainage team make
1386s they unfortunately counterbalance each
1389s other a little bit Timeless yeah like
1391s great as team play but when they get
1393s broken up they get there's a lot of
1394s confusion going on in that confusion the
1396s drainers capitalize because they take
1398s those 1v1 strongly so let's see who VOD
1401s reviewed the most and fixed the issues
1403s the best in this series it's only been
1407s what less than 24 hours since these two
1409s teams oh it's enough last played each
1410s other oh yeah plenty plenty of time sure
1412s surely plenty of time they say to past
1413s midnight or wherever they might be in
1415s the world to be able to 2005 reason hey
1417s we'll have to see which one pays off and
1419s we'll get to into those two teams in
1421s just a little bit first but first I want
1422s to talk more about the tournament
1424s structure and what all is on the line
1425s what's been leading up to this moment
1427s starting off with kind of the journey
1428s those couple days that we've had uh to
1430s get to date number four days one and two
1432s which was uh the past weekend as a
1434s matter of fact was that Swiss stage
1436s where we knocked out eight of our 16
1438s teams those eight moved on uh to our
1441s double elimination playoff bracket so
1443s today what we're going to be seeing is
1446s are those loser finals that next team
1448s that comes out on top will be heading to
1449s face off the so far undefeated Valiant
1453s Gardens for a chance at the title now
1455s not only are they playing for the lovely
1457s bragging rights and even the potential
1459s to take down the valley and Gardens here
1460s you got all of this lovely prize money
1462s and Circa points on the line nerdy
1464s yes so you're playing for a bag you're
1466s playing for circuit points and because
1467s of the way this tournament is structured
1469s these circuit points don't per se get
1471s awarded to the team they get awarded to
1472s the players themselves because it allows
1474s players to then move to different teams
1476s and they're able to go to those teams
1477s request an opportunity to trial or say
1479s hey are you interested in having me as a
1480s player and they can present their
1481s circuit points because there's circuit
1482s points I mean yeah getting a bag of
1484s money is always nice but if you want to
1486s continue to compete the eligibility to
1488s compete in our grand finals in February
1490s are based off these circuit points now
1492s of course at the end of the day
1494s finishing first is always nice but the
1495s second third and fourth place teams
1497s still walk away with a little bit of
1499s money themselves and if you get on that
1501s Podium you should still take pride in
1503s the fact that you managed to knock out
1505s the other teams all the way up until
1507s this point and should take pride in the
1510s fact that you made it on the podium
1512s and that's a very good point that you
1513s bring up there's one thing that we have
1515s seen in just past Colonial Heroes
1517s defense is there's always been kind of
1519s one team that is stuck above the rest
1521s but something that has kind of stuck out
1523s is yes while we do have that one team in
1525s the talent Guardians this event the next
1527s I would say five or six teams that are
1530s still unable to beat them have them
1532s going back and forth and it leaves a
1534s level of unpredictability when we look
1536s at our matchup today and I think a lot
1538s of that generally has to do with the map
1539s pool that we're playing on there are not
1541s an incredible amount of options
1544s especially when you look at that hybrid
1545s mapping pool I know we were talking
1547s about it a little bit earlier with only
1548s numbani and part of you so being in the
1550s pool the body easily being the favorite
1553s map Choice there and for good reasons
1555s especially for teams like timeless
1557s well if you think about it imbani has
1559s been with us in OverWatch since
1561s OverWatch won and yeah it was out of the
1563s map pool for the beginning of OverWatch
1565s 2 to fix some problems and make some
1567s changes but beyond that these teams
1569s these players have a lot of experience
1570s when it comes to playing around that map
1572s whereas Verizon is a newer map it's been
1574s taken out of the map a couple times due
1575s to bugs and so overall there's less
1577s experience however with the amount of
1580s favorability that the body has had
1581s hopefully these teams come in here
1583s thinking hey maybe you know we should
1585s practice a little bit more imporizo and
1587s have the opportunity to maybe bring that
1588s out if we absolutely have to but if your
1590s Ace in the Hole is going to be that new
1592s body map and of course United talked
1594s about this we think Washington Timeless
1596s their history on your body it's always
1598s going to be the new Bonnie pick
1599s you know if it ain't broke don't fix it
1602s however if you're looking to throw in a
1603s curveball go with the other map
1607s I guess that was an interesting place
1608s it's been in congestion in congestion
1610s for one of the least favorites amongst
1612s the OverWatch Community I call sales
1614s another one that can come up in that
1616s argument but I think that those those
1617s two specifically are just not ones that
1619s teams practice on this the architecture
1621s those High grounds you have to play off
1623s of are just so weird and it really takes
1625s a type of team to want to play on that
1627s map specifically you have to have a plan
1628s going into it which just hasn't been the
1631s case for either of the two teams I know
1633s we've talked a lot about Washington
1634s Timeless but we also need to bring up
1635s the opponents that they're facing is
1637s like we said this isn't the first time
1638s that Washington animals have taken on
1640s the drainers here in fact just yesterday
1643s in those winners semis we went to a map
1646s five here it was almost a reverse sweep
1649s but Timeless came back at that map five
1651s just to bring it all home and it really
1653s does show you how close how these teams
1655s are fighting Toe to Toe
1657s and it comes down to the variability in
1660s the team play versus the one-on-one play
1662s between these teams like team drainers
1663s they're really good at punishing a
1665s player that takes too much of an off
1667s angle overstays their welcome and
1669s they're more than fine going toe-to-toe
1671s with someone solo and cleaning it up
1673s from that point and moving forward
1675s because then your team goes up one and
1676s if everyone is taking these 1V ones and
1679s it gets very messy then drainers well
1681s their as their name says they're gonna
1683s drain the enemy team and they're going
1685s to be able to be successful in those
1686s fights however if Washington Timeless
1688s can come together and work better as a
1690s whole unit and not fall into that trap
1692s they may be more successful
1694s and we see a lot of those points come up
1696s when you look at the roster of drainers
1698s every single one of the names that are
1700s on this team right now like I see
1701s Kindred I see Senna I see KJ and chosen
1704s Elaine as well being on the support here
1706s these five players are all very good at
1708s what they do they're some of the best
1710s within the calling all heroes scene that
1712s we've seen come out of it and
1714s I think the one thing that's really been
1716s holding them back so far keeping them
1717s out of actually coming away with some of
1719s these higher level matches has has been
1721s their struggle in terms of the team play
1723s here like you said a lot of instances
1725s where I'll see Santa trying to take a
1727s 1v1 and Santa she's either on or she's
1730s not when she's on the whole Lobby's dead
1732s when she's not there can be a bit of
1734s feeding on that side and I want to see
1735s more of this happy medium start to be
1737s found because I do genuinely think that
1739s drainers have a chance to take down
1741s Washington Timeless and Washington Times
1742s they're not they're nowhere to laugh at
1743s either these these players unlike uh
1746s their opponents have been scrimming for
1749s a decent margin here and and the big
1752s thing we see Sawhill in for the starting
1754s lineup now but sniper another one of
1757s those tank players is a key component to
1759s this roster
1760s definitely in snozzler also very
1763s well-rounded player the supports here of
1765s the Mahler and Orion very good at
1767s keeping their teams alive and
1768s understanding when they're taking too
1770s much pressure front lining too heavily
1771s and then bun is a demon on the stick so
1774s to speak a hit scan player that if you
1776s are in her crosshairs you are saying
1778s good night and you're playing the
1779s respawn simulator so that 1v1 if you're
1782s stuck against bun may not go in your
1784s favor unless you know you're locked in
1785s and ready to go and half the time you
1787s know just being confident in your own
1789s ability to click heads can help you a
1791s little bit more but definitely as you
1793s mentioned wanting to see the more
1794s success happening I really want to see
1796s drainers taking advantage of you know
1799s the instances where we see them back off
1801s a bit too much they get too slow I want
1803s to see them you know looking for the
1804s engage opportunities first using their
1806s alts first taking the priority
1807s positioning over the side of Washington
1809s Timeless rather than waiting and
1810s reacting to a Washington Timeless puts
1812s on the table
1813s and it's the heart one of the harder
1816s maps to be able to do that on is control
1817s arguably which of course that is where
1819s we have to start setting the tempo here
1821s I'm generally under the belief that if
1823s Elios ends up going the way of the
1825s drainers I think that they have a good
1828s chance of beating Timeless here I still
1830s think Timeless is favored but this first
1832s map Helios the selection of Timeless is
1835s going to define the path of this series
1837s moving on forwards and a lot of that is
1840s going to depend on those compositions
1842s that we've seen it's been back and forth
1845s in terms of what has been liked it's
1847s been a lot of the erisa compositions the
1849s junker queen Coming Out The Joker Queen
1852s easily Ben Washington time was his
1854s favorite and I see why they are so darn
1857s good at it it is rare that I see them
1858s losing the mirror match up here on the
1860s other hand draener's Kindred more
1862s specifically he has no problem pulling
1864s out the junker Queen but also can go
1866s over to that erisa or even Reinhardt at
1868s times here so I think there's more
1870s flexibility on the side of the drainers
1873s coming in to ilios which you kind of
1875s think about the map in general nerdy
1876s bird and I'd like to see more of that
1879s Orissa junker Queen style be playing
1881s I mean I I'm a firm enjoyer of the
1884s battle cattle as much as most players
1886s are however if you think about it we are
1889s playing on current patch JQ
1892s she just got insanely buffed in my
1895s opinion as far as the tags go her and
1897s zarya which we didn't see so much zarya
1898s up to this point but theoretically we
1901s could possibly see zaragus pulled out
1902s because her sustainability plus the
1905s amount of how quickly she gains charge
1906s both have gone up through the roof and
1910s with that in mind I wouldn't be
1911s surprised if perhaps someone decides to
1913s go zarya overgoing battle cattle or
1916s going or Jake you if they're just
1918s struggling to create front line pressure
1920s and if your tank is getting blown up DPS
1923s you really gotta start finding heads and
1925s clicking them to take some attention
1926s away from your tank but we'll have to
1928s see what happens because I feel like
1929s zarya great sustainability if she has
1932s the proper backline but JQ using your
1934s Shout at the right times plus acts
1936s absolutely impossible to overcome
1939s without full team coordination
1941s as much as I would love to see that
1943s zarya comp we're still playing on that
1945s former mid-p at that first season patch
1947s we haven't hit mid-season yet so zarya
1949s hasn't received that buff JQ still same
1952s old JQ so
1953s there's still gonna there's gonna be
1955s that right so we I don't think we're
1956s gonna see the zarya today which is
1958s actually good for a lot of teams because
1959s who's been practicing zarya not really
1962s anybody she hasn't been relevant for a
1964s while so very thankful that they can
1965s continue to play this more junkrats or
1968s junker Queen style excuse me and you
1971s know Washington Timeless they're going
1972s with a good old bread and butter and
1974s it's gonna be quite an interesting
1975s matchup you know what the trainers have
1976s in mind everybody cold nobody else good
1980s to see you
1982s go ahead and look Washington Timeless
1984s beginning to rolled out have the control
1987s of this High Ground which makes it very
1989s difficult for the drainers to engage the
1990s only way that they're going to move
1991s around this point is going to be by
1993s accessing Senna here using this teleport
1995s to find their way and kind of to the
1997s back line ideally Orion is going to be
1999s the target but they're taking such a
2000s long time defines that opening in and
2003s they're not using the teleporter to get
2005s that Mobility so Timeless have so much
2007s space at their disposal to get this
2009s engaged and are easily gonna collapse on
2011s the player's bun blaming that first
2012s elimination of the day and KJ doing
2015s their best to kind of layer this damage
2016s get the trade out but Ben is just too
2019s far in it takes a fully charged Senna to
2021s eventually shut her down and this is
2023s what I'm talking about right here where
2024s Timeless they engage first drainers
2026s throw immediately in the back foot
2028s the unfortunate situation for drainers
2030s is that you're playing around your
2032s Reinhardt and it makes sense you're
2033s going to want to lock down cage however
2035s Washington Timeless they have the JQ
2037s shout they have Lucio's speed Baptiste
2039s can take an angle and use jump boots to
2041s get high ground snozzlars takes position
2043s has slide bun has Dash the mobility and
2046s ability and chances to surround and
2047s Conquer drainer it's a very strong for
2049s Timeless as we engage in this next fight
2051s and it looks like immortalities from
2052s both sides are already going to be
2053s burned it's those main cooldowns
2055s especially KJS as well oh but status are
2058s getting taken off the map a lot of that
2060s damage Washington Timeless is gone but
2062s them being still in control of the point
2063s having this well to their favor I mean
2066s the difference in range here the
2068s difference in Mobility is just huge and
2070s Timeless are playing that to their favor
2075s as we are about to go into about the
2077s halfway point for map one Washington
2080s Timeless is coming up on three ultimates
2082s almost all five in the bank drainers
2084s getting close to having all oats online
2086s but their Lucio is far behind an
2089s ultimate charge and beat can be a make
2090s or break ultimate to sustain or allow
2092s your team to aggress into the enemy
2094s front line I'm really interested to see
2096s how Senna chooses to use this wall and
2098s when will they use it to engage or are
2100s they going to use it as an opportunity
2101s to sustain their team during another
2103s enemy ultimate
2105s and they're gonna hold on to it for now
2107s with hoping the activator does the job
2109s which stars Lord that is not where you
2111s should be standing in front of an ant
2112s Matrix you need to be respecting those
2113s players at a critical error from
2115s Washington Timeless is going to be the
2117s end of their control of the map as well
2119s and they're gonna go ahead have to give
2121s this one up but the nice thing is they
2123s have plenty of tools to re-engage with
2125s they do and we are in what some could
2127s center last fight territory considering
2129s the side of Washington Timeless only has
2131s to get 18 they're going to this next
2133s fight only ultimate not online is going
2135s to be the Rampage from Sawhill
2136s everything else is ready to go drainers
2139s still have three ultimates that Lucio
2141s beats can become essential if the side
2143s of Washington Timeless decides to pair
2144s up two ultimates that beat needs to drop
2146s and if it gets Ajax it's gonna be real
2148s unfortunate situation for drainers oh
2150s drainers they're already getting it in
2152s with that Bastion ultimate they need to
2154s get aggressive but there it is Earth
2155s shattered down saw Hill instantly
2157s deleted this is the initiation the
2159s trainers need to be using but the sound
2160s barrier ended up coming out just counter
2163s out that overclock which is fine you go
2165s ahead you win the fight you get the
2166s stall out but fun here they come in she
2168s has the Dragon Blade in sight and SAS
2170s Lord still managed to stay alive this is
2172s timeless playing the long game two of
2174s their favor exhausting the resources of
2176s Traders and therefore exploiting it to
2178s their advantage they're back in control
2180s of the point but drainers they're gonna
2181s have to rush that objective
2185s 10 seconds remaining for the sided
2187s drainers to make it in and their Lucio
2189s is down no swaps relying on this
2191s teleporter to make sure they can get a
2193s foothold on this point
2195s their Reinhardt goes forward they have
2197s to use amp Matrix early to even keep
2199s their line alive it doesn't keep the
2202s Reinhardt up it's set up they they get
2204s Sawhill out of the picture you just
2205s don't have that defensive utility once
2207s that Stout is done and gone with so
2209s Washington Timeless they're gonna back
2211s up they're okay with it with where the
2212s fight currently stands
2214s and we go ahead
2216s and see where drainers have been
2217s starting to improve here they use a lot
2219s of their utility in the previous fight
2221s that M Matrix that was really their only
2223s thing in to get up Orion gonna be
2226s chunking their way towards an ultimate
2227s of their own which is gonna be
2228s beneficial to finding that window in
2230s especially just go ahead it's plopping
2232s snozzler behind that huge burst of
2235s damage that you're gonna be able to work
2236s with and that's the slow approach that
2237s Washington Timeless are gonna take
2238s they're not doing anything super risky
2241s because they're waiting for trainers to
2242s come up with an error they know what's
2243s gonna happen they simply don't have the
2245s shield through with stain in front of
2247s any of the damage coming up and saw Hill
2249s to get the free reign of the objective
2251s as a result strainers have split up so
2253s gosh darn four that they're having
2255s trouble regrouping and they have to say
2257s under chosen in Santa to make this
2259s happen 99 once again the Washington
2261s Timeless but the drainers barely hanging
2263s on to like the third time they've been
2265s in this situation they still managed to
2267s hold on
2272s you're still taking that time to go
2275s ahead and look over what the objective
2278s is currently standing at Washington
2279s Timeless that Rampage some stall Hill
2282s really the only tool to have to go into
2284s it but the counters are available from
2285s drainers it has to be something quick
2287s and snappy if Washington Timeless want
2289s to take back this point that they
2291s initially had that control of the
2293s trainers they're playing so close
2294s together Timeless they don't want to be
2295s anywhere near that back room especially
2297s with age just chilling behind an app
2300s Matrix you want to stay away from that
2301s one but not that far baller gets in
2303s Begins the chaos huge elimination
2305s drainers don't get the value out of
2307s their sound barrier either this is the
2310s best case scenario for Washington
2311s Timeless right now drainers they're
2312s running on fumes to keep this fight up
2315s and running or more specifically Kindred
2316s for that matter Washington time was my
2318s goodness did they bind their time for
2320s this fight but here they are sitting on
2323s top of Elios well
2331s still waiting
2333s able to see the first map with the way
2335s of Washington timeless
2338s this is what we're talking about
2339s initially at the start of the series is
2342s we wanted to see where
2344s where drainers would start to improve
2346s and like I said a lot of this Tempo
2348s would come up to be in this control map
2350s when we see drainers start to take that
2352s initiative where they can play in total
2354s honesty I'm not a fan of that Reinhardt
2356s pick coming in uh from the drainers and
2359s switching that up here to go over to
2361s junker Queen if that is the option that
2363s drones want to go with I am here for it
2365s the only thing that is interesting is
2368s this back line of the baptism yes it
2371s gives you a lot of strength in poke but
2372s the support for Kindred you don't have
2375s that speed it's a huge sacrifice
2376s especially when you're playing with the
2378s JQ they have to be winning these fights
2381s long range as soon as Washington
2382s Timeless gets close this is as good as
2384s over for drainers right now and snozzler
2387s on the Widowmaker as well look into an
2390s opportunity find these shots Senna
2391s nearing that on the other end and you
2394s did the two players that we know would
2396s be going back at it oh barely picking
2398s that corner they need to be careful of
2400s where the other heads are lying here but
2403s Santa's still strong willing to land a
2405s couple of these shotsies to jump up
2407s barely dodging out of the way both teams
2410s very slow to engage just sitting
2412s watching waiting Chris Nosler to find
2415s that advantage to get that pick out and
2418s drayner's gonna be the ones to get the
2420s first capture but there's yet to be any
2421s fight on this point
2423s snozzler makes a very bold move using
2426s that grapple shot chosen punishes the
2428s off angle bun found Kindred though and
2431s for drainers losing that front line with
2433s the Enemy team this close to them both
2435s supports playing a little bit of
2437s supportable combat unfortunately Sawhill
2439s is going to capitalize on that you
2440s mentioned it earlier not seeing the
2441s Reinhardt here I think is the better
2443s option for the trainers the Reinhardt
2445s played just too slow they're getting
2446s surrounded and completely collapsed upon
2449s however now it's a battle of wits a
2452s little bit between snozzler and Cena
2454s because those two can create old
2455s cleaning opportunities for their team by
2457s finding that early elimination however
2459s Washington was losing snozzler that
2461s early to chosen allowed for the other
2464s team to sustain a bit longer because it
2466s takes away those line of sight pressures
2467s see if snozzler is able to find the
2469s first elimination here or if it's going
2470s to be Senna
2473s looking for that shot and you can see
2476s how careful the drainers are being right
2478s now they're afraid of what snazzler can
2480s do and it's all up to seven to at least
2482s keep them occupied for the time being
2483s but it's saw Hill that initiation all
2486s it's got to be is that that a little
2488s immortality field which doesn't get the
2489s value but the aggression is punished
2491s slightly the drainers they are down in
2493s numbers but so are Washington Timeless
2495s only the tank is remaining and there's
2498s not gonna be much to show for that at
2500s all trainers are just doing so much
2501s better on this JQ comp
2505s going to this next fight drainers are
2507s also going to have the ultimate
2509s advantage that Transcendence they don't
2511s need to worry about sawhill's ultimate
2513s Genji bun close to that blade however if
2517s they're if they manage to hang on to
2519s baptist shift immortality slide shout
2522s they won't even need to use entrance and
2524s we'll be able to use it instead to
2525s sustain through a different situation to
2526s keep the fight longer which is what's
2528s been paying off for them so far
2530s exactly when these fights go long and
2532s Timeless can initiate drainers have no
2533s problem closing it out or even starting
2535s them Orion going down best case scenario
2538s for drainers right now it's their bite
2539s to lose with all of the ultimates on the
2542s board they're making this look easy is
2543s this the same team that we're seeing
2545s from last map right now Helios it
2548s specifically ruins having Senna having
2550s KJ onto this map to get that poke done
2553s and this is where they're strongest and
2555s there's absolutely no doubt about it now
2557s we just gotta hope that they don't make
2559s a similar mistake to the what they did
2560s map one and choosing to try and play the
2562s more brawl heavy composition because yes
2564s you have point which is in a box and
2566s then you also have the area around the
2568s mini at cage which is also a box but
2570s just that Reinhardt composition did not
2572s work out for drainers looks like they
2573s are going to be sticking more with the
2575s never mind as I'm talking I get baited
2578s Kindred is swapping over to Diva and
2580s Diva has been a very Hit or Miss tank
2583s within our complete calling all heroes
2585s series either receive Divas absolutely
2587s dominate or they get obliterated my
2589s concern here is the amount of focus fire
2591s that can come out from Washington
2592s Timeless severely punishing Kindred on
2594s the diva
2596s I I don't know I really don't know about
2598s this Diva pick it does not feel good you
2600s did good on the JQ why are we changing
2602s things right you just that's kind of all
2606s I have to say for this composition right

2637s the first time Timeless are the team
2639s that are slow to react they are just not
2641s looking as coordinated as they did in
2643s the first mapper even in the previous
2645s games that we've seen
2647s and for the side of drainers the biggest
2649s concerned with Diva oh my gosh orian I'm
2652s so sorry the biggest thing for kinder to
2654s be able to sustain in tank formation not
2657s lose Toki is the fact that their DPS
2660s need to be creating a lot of pressure
2662s and making sure that their diva is not
2664s the one taking all of the front line
2666s aggression coming out from Washington
2667s Times they did that very well they
2669s created pressure they forced out
2670s cooldowns early and then they were able
2672s to rotate into the point now if
2673s Washington Timeless decides to rotate
2675s here using fewer cooldowns there's a
2677s chance they force a fight on point and
2679s saw Hill can get a lot of sustain if
2681s there's multiple people on point however
2682s Senna as well as
2685s KJ are playing Heroes that don't need to
2688s be on point no not at all and Drake is
2690s like specifically Santa looking out here
2692s on the ash just chilling in the mid lane
2694s and there is no problem with that being
2696s a sniper because Washington Timeless
2698s they need to get to the objective and
2700s they're struggling to get a path in
2702s right now the problem is is that
2704s Timeless they're not playing a winch
2705s snozzler is not taking care of senna if
2708s Senna is on she's cooking and when she's
2710s cooking there's no chance for time to
2711s push
2712s My ultimate is charging me
2715s we could be once again entering last
2717s fight unless Washington Timeless managed
2719s to get a foothold onto this objective
2721s they are slow to build these ultimates
2724s but drainers are as well they do have
2726s that baptistal as well as captive sun
2728s coming out from Chosen and captive Sun
2730s can be absolutely deadly considering
2732s they're not gonna have cleanse they only
2733s have a more bun is dead there's gonna be
2735s no opportunity for a deflect on it they
2737s have to rely on Baptist and Lucia to
2739s sustain through them you needed one to
2742s be alive there you really did Timeless
2743s they just don't add the tools in the
2746s tank to take this battle they've been so
2748s behind since Helios getting shut out and
2750s they are the brink of doing it again
2752s it's only solo but the ultimate goes
2754s down Senna why is it the player this map
2757s Santa was the only one for draener
2759s specifically to come up Big B that
2762s pop-off star that we know she can be and
2765s if drainers they're getting that Tempo
2766s going now they're taking that lead they
2768s are vengeful from their match yesterday
2770s they want this Grand finals and they
2771s want it bad
2774s well even though sonnet absolutely
2775s popped off saw Hill's gonna be the one
2777s to get the play of the game on JQ it
2779s looks like you know almost one before
2781s but you see Senna in the kill feed here
2783s gets a double kill
2785s it's still set up I mean regardless if
2787s it's all don't get me wrong it's all
2789s hell pretty darn cool too but Santa was
2791s the player that game to put in the work
2793s whether it was on the Widowmaker but
2795s especially on that Ash that Ash is what
2797s she is most known for and it's Ash isn't
2800s the hero that we traditionally see
2802s within the higher levels of competitive
2804s play but it has been one that we've seen
2806s whenever drainers have come to play and
2808s Timeless they're therefore being forced
2809s to mirror they're putting salslar on
2811s that Ash just to try to contest Senna
2813s and what she's been doing and it's a
2816s real problem that they were facing they
2818s just fell apart under under the reign of
2821s that JQ and I did mention this before
2823s Saul Hill they are a great individual
2825s player they come up with these pop-off
2827s moments but I do think there's a
2828s noticeable difference between when
2831s Sawhill isn't on the tank and then when
2833s I see sniper the squad overall looks
2836s more coordinated they look like they
2838s have a good plan of how they want to
2840s engage the fight that's where I really
2841s start to see that speed tick up and
2843s knowing that we're heading to Hybrid
2844s next I'm fully expecting that new body
2847s pick and sniper oh you put into the JQ
2849s Sigma
2850s most definitely I can't argue with you
2851s on that one I mean like history speaks
2853s for itself if the numbers decide to
2855s change and they do want to throw in a
2856s curveball I'll be interested to see what
2858s they pull out however I do think going
2860s with a new body pick is the safest
2861s opportunity here for Washington Timeless
2862s drainers probably are well aware of that
2864s and honestly
2867s I'm I'm gonna be completely Fair
2870s the DPS have been getting a little bit
2872s uh less lucky as far as the game is
2875s decided because I do agree Senna did
2877s definitely pop off but the tanks and
2878s supports have been getting plays of the
2879s game but we cannot disregard the effort
2882s coming out from the DPS and one thing I
2884s do want to say is I'm sorry Bastion
2885s falling down the well is never fun we
2887s can hear that opening pick from chosen
2889s getting out that BPS the Widowmaker and
2891s then the enemy Widowmaker takes a 1v1
2893s with Genji even evening the playing
2894s field but here we have Senna on this
2897s action you mentioned this map is a
2898s center highlight reel that is what this
2900s is and you mentioned we don't see a lot
2903s of Ash but Ash creates a lot of
2904s opportunity because that Dynamite when
2906s people aren't playing smart when they
2907s are allowing themselves to be grouped up
2910s or playing inside rooms you can force
2912s cooldowns you can force them into bad
2913s positions by using that dynamite and it
2915s gives you ultimate charge and it makes
2917s them get into a bad position to either
2918s like I said either they're forced into a
2920s bad spot or they use cooldowns and then
2922s your team is able to capitalize on it
2924s and that's where drainers have looks
2927s really good is that when they are able
2929s to take their time and really talk
2931s through what they want to do get that
2933s set up specifically with their DPS which
2935s are their strong point
2937s then they're just that's where they're
2939s going in the fights Timeless if they go
2941s fast they win if they don't it's
2942s strangers I I it's such a simple concept
2945s that you really I let me phrase that I
2947s make it sound very simple but that is
2949s not at all the case of what it is there
2951s are so many different factors that
2952s actually go into these plays in terms of
2954s the positioning what calls are being
2956s made where is the alt tracking how is
2957s that taking place and on a map like
2960s ilios it tends to get chaotic and teams
2962s that thrive in their chaos welcome
2964s drainers they are the chaos to be
2967s totally Frank with you and when you look
2969s to our future Maps hybrid in particular
2971s you do require a much more gentle hand
2974s when you're going at it you can't just
2975s be like full steam ahead we're gonna
2976s kill five that's that's not really how
2978s hybrid works specifically it's a lot
2980s more reliant on that positioning where
2982s are you posting up with that strict
2983s attack for attack versus defensive roles
2986s and that is something that Timeless have
2988s ex have succeeded on and have exceeded
2991s every single opponent that I have seen
2993s them face I genuinely think they are
2994s unbeatable on this map if they pick
2996s parties though right now I'm in to be
2997s concerned for their sanity
2999s I yeah I too will be concerned just
3002s because we mentioned if it ain't broke
3004s don't fix it and just some things went
3008s wrong in the last map and I feel like
3010s possibly especially after the after we
3012s were on well
3013s in on ruins it felt like the side of
3016s Washington Timeless was starting to back
3018s off too much they were giving up too
3019s much space and drainers they they do
3021s this a similar thing but they started to
3023s slowly encroach on that space that was
3025s being created and they realized the
3027s success that comes with that so claiming
3029s that space not giving up the neutral
3030s ground very important and drainers they
3032s have fixed the taking too long the
3035s engage moments that we've seen in the
3036s past and hopefully they're able to
3038s continue to do that but the one caveat
3041s with these hybrid Maps is that you kind
3042s of you do go from you know it is a
3044s control Point into an escort point and
3047s that is where things can start to get
3048s really concerning in the escort portions
3049s because if your team is guilty of taking
3051s a lot of off angles not calling when
3053s they're going for the off angle flank
3055s that is where you see a lot of
3057s elimination start to happen because
3058s someone starts to feed a little bit so
3060s it comes to being a little bit
3061s unconscious of where you're going and
3063s conscious of where both your tank and
3065s your supports are in retrospect to where
3066s you are and making sure you're not just
3068s going to feed
3070s which I'm very glad you you said that
3073s well I mean not the feeling I never like
3075s to see feeding but specifically when I
3078s look back at well drainers we're getting
3080s punished for okay maybe not as far as
3083s feeding but for being even slightly out
3085s of position they were away from their
3086s team because they have the confidence in
3089s themselves as individual players and yes
3091s you are that good but when you look at a
3092s team like Washington Timeless they're
3094s not going to let you get away with those
3095s mistakes and it really took that to the
3097s point where it had to be Senna killing
3099s at least half the team every single
3101s fight for that to start to iron out and
3103s I think that
3104s Center
3105s as many times have I said her name is
3108s very very important when we begin to
3110s look at our hybrid map selection which
3112s has been confirmed numbani
3114s is at least a map no I'm not surprised
3117s I'm not surprised and there's a good
3119s reason for this and a lot of it is going
3122s to dependsena continue to perform the
3125s way that she has
3126s her Highs are super High when she's on
3129s she cups said that I know but it needs
3132s to be repeated because it needs to be
3133s drilled into everyone's main
3134s specifically Timeless right now because
3136s if Senna is still going to be on fire
3138s for the remainder of this map you're
3140s gonna have to come up with a solution
3141s but the other thing that I do see with
3144s Senna is that she's either on or she's
3146s not so if we're going to start to get to
3148s that point where that inconsistency
3149s begins to show and they lean away from
3152s that Timeless they're gonna run away
3153s with it I think it gets that simple uh
3156s in terms of the effect here especially
3158s on who's going to be attacking versus
3160s defending you can look at this first
3161s point of nubana you see these little
3164s walkways that you have on on The High
3166s Ground which are just perfect for
3168s hitscan to come up we've seen a lot of
3169s Ash and those Echoes and even a little
3171s bit of Hanzo come out that are just
3174s great at those angles
3177s and it does look like we have sniper
3180s coming in for the side of Washington
3182s time as we discuss sniper coming in most
3184s likely on this map
3186s during day one of calling all heroes we
3189s did see sniper choose to go with the
3191s diva pick here eventually realize maybe
3194s not the best call did go Sigma but this
3196s time starting out on the JQ now
3199s of course a portion of this gameplay
3202s when it comes to tanks is a little bit
3204s of the rock paper scissors game and for
3206s drainers being on offense first if
3208s Kindred sticks with this Reinhardt we
3210s possibly could see this swap over to ajq
3213s however yeah I'm gonna I'm gonna just
3215s trust that sun is actually going to stay
3216s no Senna okay yeah staying on on the
3219s symmetra with the Bastion Reinhardt
3221s means they're probably gonna go
3222s underneath and teleport to The High
3223s Ground possibly Washington Timeless is
3225s anticipating this because they are
3227s positioned very linearly on the left
3228s side High Ground as opposed to split up
3230s to surround both High grounds
3232s I can tell you right now the washing
3234s titles are expecting it this is the
3235s exact same competent trainers attempted
3237s to pull out on their previous attack
3239s against Washington Timeless and you know
3241s what happened they got full held nerdy
3244s bird this just was not the play and
3246s primarily it was because they couldn't
3247s get these teleporters into successful
3249s positions or the peel was just better
3251s from Timeless so they're trying to Juke
3252s him out here but eventually this High
3254s Ground is where you take place but
3255s Kindred Shield is down that Reinhardt
3257s does not work at this angle especially
3259s when you get split like that and this is
3262s where Washington time was this is their
3263s game right now drainers they're playing
3266s we saw drainers do this day one as well
3269s when they went underneath and tried to
3270s teleport to the right side High Ground
3272s from attackers perspective you could
3274s tell that there was a lack of a one two
3276s three on the TP because the TP went down
3278s one person took it another person took
3281s it and then the rest of the team stayed
3284s in one spot and it does look like we
3285s have a disconnect coming on inside
3287s Washington Timeless so we'll take a
3289s moment and give them the opportunity to
3290s reconnect hopefully we'll see them very
3291s soon sometimes you know your internet is
3294s your best friend allows you play video
3295s games but sometimes it's your enemy
3297s yeah but goodness hopefully we can get
3299s those players back in shortly and I know
3301s that that was a problem for Timeless
3303s before I believe it was bun we didn't
3304s even get to see her at all in week one
3307s during that switch stage because of
3308s Internet issues and it was such an
3310s unfortunate occurrence because she is so
3312s good at that Flex DPS role that Genji in
3315s the symmetra did have a bit of a rough
3317s first map I will say a lot of the time
3319s she either it was so polarizing either
3321s had the first elimination or the first
3323s death there wasn't much in between going
3325s on there
3326s I think that's a common Trend among a
3329s lot of OverWatch players that either you
3331s will you've perfected your playstyle and
3333s you're very comfortable on the hero that
3334s you you choose to play or the two or
3336s three that you play for your team or you
3339s get the I'm hot and I'm cold sometimes
3341s yeah and we hadn't attempt to charge
3344s through Reinhardt on the TP TP gets
3347s eviscerated and positioning is already
3349s lost again for drainers so they have to
3350s wait for another TP from Santa they're
3353s just trying to set it up but they're
3354s sitting ducks they take this amount of
3356s poke damage you lose the shield cooldown
3358s so they have to take it slow but that is
3360s the treat that they wanted a ride in a
3361s bun sitting pretty did not know what was
3363s going to hit them drainers finally got
3365s that first successful teleporter but
3366s still three players remaining for
3368s Timeless and beyond that high ground and
3370s those ultimates getting nearer at least
3372s wealth it used to be I would say they
3374s would have a chance but as of now
3375s drainers they have full control of this
3378s objective and this is the turnaround
3380s that I wanted to see they finally got
3382s all five players through that teleporter
3384s I want a full round of applause for that
3386s because I think that's the first time it
3387s has happened when I've seen them play
3390s let's hope that they continue to run
3392s Cena on this symmetra we see that
3394s teleporter success happen more
3396s frequently than not bun is waiting for
3399s her opportunity to strike right now
3400s staring down the main pathway waiting
3403s for our team to catch up and always go
3404s into this next fight with a bastional

3408s Timeless but the window for the side of
3410s drainers they also have every old plus
3413s that window engaging the Bastion
3415s artillery string doesn't look like it'll
3417s pick up any eliminations no did you see
3420s how everybody just rushed under the
3422s Kindred sealed like an umbrella there
3424s that was hilarious even he's like got to
3427s stay out of the rain it's raining cat
3428s and dogs or rather giant artillery
3430s Bombshells which is now the case for
3431s Washington Timeless they better get a
3433s move on watch out for those and not too
3436s concerned but ooh Ballard isn't getting
3438s caught out that is a huge load of
3439s Timeless that he can use these ultimates
3441s to compensate for it but the Rampage
3442s doesn't get as much value as they would
3444s have liked to see and as a result they
3446s need to use even more to invest into
3448s that fight which in the end is pretty
3451s okay when you look at what draener's
3453s headies on the other end and getting
3455s this hold especially in this spot with a
3457s brawl competition these spawn holds are
3458s brutal at second Point new body
3461s one thing you got to think about is they
3462s unfortunately ended up losing your Lucio
3464s and losing your your main support can
3466s make a fight extremely difficult to come
3468s out on top of more often than not you're
3469s gonna end up losing so what they did is
3470s they coined their ultimates they ended
3472s up paying both the photon barrier as
3475s well as the JQ ultimate to put them
3477s equal and then put them one up with the
3479s extra old and JQ jiggled peeking in the
3482s doorway ultimately was a key to success
3485s as we was chosen early on here in this
3487s next engage you know what as creative as
3489s that was from Kindred flanking around
3491s the entire team and getting a bit off
3492s the map all right it was worth it for
3495s the comedic effect but Kindred you left
3497s your team high and dry they just got
3499s dropped on and a half to be totally
3501s Frank with the Washington Timeless and
3503s they're not gonna let kitchen get away
3505s with any of that shenanigans

3550s switching over to the Jungle Queen
3551s immediately I wanted to see this pick
3555s I would be too but vaulting over the
3558s Reinhardt or Shadow the prediction
3560s absolutely clean now as we go to this
3563s next fight we're going to have yet
3564s another Bastion ultimate both sides bun
3566s is trailing Senna as far as the photon
3568s barrier charge goes and then chosen can
3571s round this corner around bust with amp
3574s Matrix and possibly create an entire
3576s opportunity for their team to engage we
3577s hear Photon barrier go up oh but that
3580s Rampage is absolutely massive it's both
3582s supports and some wow this is sniper
3586s coming in big for Washington Times Like
3588s I said there's a noticeable difference
3589s in how these fights end up playing out
3591s not only because of this player's
3592s individual talent but the way that the
3594s team rallied behind her
3596s great things yeah and you just heard

3605s checkpoint and JK is going to start out
3608s with the artillery strike looks like
3610s they might just be able to take out a
3611s teleporter not sure if she got anything

3621s dedicated to start this fight Timeless
3623s they're taking this quick they do not
3624s want trainers to have the opportunity to
3626s sit down use their cooldowns and that's
3628s what you do you take the space you don't

3632s they've learned something from this map
3633s they gave up so much space and time
3635s lapse time and drainers they're playing
3637s Timeless game
3640s and you're right I mean the thing with
3642s Timeless is that they're recognizing we
3645s have to we don't have to use our
3646s cooldowns but we have to make you spend
3648s yours to take the space that you want
3650s and they're doing it cleanly as we see
3652s snipers pick up one and small bar with
3655s another one yeah that's it like you see

3659s Washington Timeless I think they Unbound
3660s their s keys for this match I I
3662s genuinely think so nerdy bird because it
3665s has been forwards it has been W and you
3667s know what they arguably got the W not

3674s fight you can take one fight you can win
3675s it is here in the spawns which they
3677s managed to do for a solid three and a
3680s half minutes which is just crazy

3686s big task ahead of them

3690s and kept playing for those advantages

3702s Kindred I feel like just starting on the
3704s JQ would have been so much stronger for
3706s the side of the drainers because as we
3708s saw from sniper Rampage can be extremely
3710s powerful now they're going to be on
3712s defense and we have Center once again
3713s popping over to that Ash dynamites could
3716s theoretically be very oppressive but
3718s Washington Timeless is pulling out the
3720s composition the drainage started on now

3734s so we got the battle cattle coming out
3736s from Kindred as well as chosen on the
3739s life we've got this would be interesting
3740s I mean if if someone wants to play Silly
3743s or way too far forward and use grip to

3755s I mean hey don't get me wrong life

3782s flashbacks to day one because here we
3785s had a recent multi kills happening
3787s because of people staying on this
3789s platform thankfully Timeless is
3791s recognizing the risk that they put
3792s forward by stepping out of this doorway
3794s they're staying there however Kindred is
3796s just posted up undeterred by the
3798s prospect of possibly having a full team
3800s swing because Kindred can just spear
3802s spin them off they've fully rotated take
3804s the other high ground and I'm a little
3806s scared for the Maller looks like they're
3808s actually going to rotate team over here
3810s to try and get Mueller back okay see
3812s that was actually genius the way that
3814s that life grip was used just joints Lane
3817s out of the line of danger okay I see the
3819s purpose of this now chosen all right all
3821s right you you chose the right hero I'm
3822s starting to see it but you need to show
3824s me more because bun just took out your
3826s main source of damage here at staslar is
3828s on The High Ground uncontested
3830s Washington Timeless they split up
3831s drainers have pressure from so many
3833s angles and they're going to crumble
3834s under all of the pressure as a result
3837s and this is gonna be a hefty timing to
3838s be able to walk away from the first
3839s point with
3840s you mentioned chosen being on the life
3842s Weaver with life where grape swapping
3844s over the Anna and the one thing I will
3845s say is that if your whole reason for
3847s using life grip is to get your teammate
3850s out of a bad position that means that
3852s there's a problem because they're
3853s already in a bad position they're not
3854s anticipating what damage is coming out
3856s what abilities are being used and where
3858s the enemy is looking to rotate reducing
3860s chosen swap to be honest we have Anna
3861s Baptiste coming out right now for the
3863s side of the drainers and be very
3864s interested to see how this works out not
3866s a combination we typically see haven't
3868s seen it in a long time there's a very
3870s good reason why we don't see this back
3872s piece on it it offers a lot of healing
3874s arguably too much I want to see Lane and
3877s chosen start to use their damage
3878s abilities specifically that bionate that
3880s is what they're banking on right now for
3882s Timeless to get hit with an ante and
3884s make it work but Joseph can't get the
3885s angle and the rest of the team it's just
3887s collapsed so there's no life grip to get
3889s you out of that scenario so drainers
3891s they're on the back with you they're
3892s struggling to make something happen and
3895s Timeless they're not slowing down there
3897s is no backing it is in or we're dead and
3899s they are certainly in and the only one's
3902s dead here or the trainers the teleport
3904s out to escape this is Washington
3905s timelessness map we knew they would pick
3907s it and this is exactly the reason why
3911s it's almost as though they're like hey
3913s control Point not our strength our new
3915s Bonnie we got that so if we don't do too
3918s well on map one we know we can pick map
3920s two and come out on top it looks like
3921s our play of the game's going to be going
3923s over to Lucio the Mahler let's see what
3925s the game chose to be the highlight of
3927s this entire new body map and of course
3929s environmentals very strong
3931s oh they most certainly are and I think
3933s the baller here has been an integral
3935s part of the success that we saw
3937s Washington Timeless have on that map the
3939s speed the speed is how they win and
3941s glucose that is the speed character for
3942s you right there so the Mahler came up
3944s big was able to work in Tangent with
3947s sniper and I I genuinely was like having
3948s sniper in the game I don't know if you
3950s saw it too dirty but the team overall
3953s just looked more grouped together they
3954s looked like they had a plan they didn't
3955s look lost when they had to take these
3957s re-engage that attack was a steamroll
3959s they never hit the brakes even once
3961s because there wasn't a reason to sniper
3962s never saw that there was a point that
3964s they needed to stop what they're doing
3965s because the trainers just gave them so
3967s much space to work with they sacrificed
3969s a lot of that Mobility by changing up
3971s their composition the life Weaver and
3974s off of the symmetra and it really came
3976s back to bite them in the end here and
3978s especially when we look towards those
3980s future map types where speed is the name
3982s of the game AKA Flashpoint
3984s this is not gonna be a good look for
3987s them to continuously have if they want
3988s to come out on top
3990s and to just piggyback a bit off of what

3993s Lucio gameplay I mean since the drop and
3995s this is this shatter was ridiculous I
3997s really was my heart goes out to you
3999s Kindred that was just unfortunate but
4000s when it comes to the Lucio gameplay
4002s there really since the drop of OverWatch
4004s 2 has not been a lot of time where Lucio
4008s was not a viable pick I mean yes you
4011s could run the honor break compositions
4012s over a Lucio Centric composition but if
4016s you are strong on Lucio gameplay your
4018s team can play around it on almost every
4019s single one of these Maps Lucio's not
4021s really been nerfed if anything he's
4023s gotten some significant some decent
4025s Buffs if you're a Lucio player and the
4027s only thing is that tank passive that
4029s makes the boops a little bit more
4030s difficult that's sometimes annoying but
4031s beyond that Lucio is a very strong main
4036s support and if you have a comfortable
4037s Lucio
4038s honestly you should roll with it as
4040s opposed to hey I Know The Enemy likes to
4042s run Lucio but I'm not going to give my
4044s team speed and I I think that is kind of
4047s the main weakness of drainers here when
4049s they know something isn't working they
4051s switch their comp right I applaud them
4053s for that if you if it's not working yeah
4055s something you can't keep doing the same
4057s thing and expect different results so
4059s they changed their composition up but
4061s they do it to an extent where it starts
4063s to get really sloppy you can't throw
4065s together these team plays because you're
4067s just trying to figure out how you're
4068s throwing these five Heroes together on
4070s the battlefield and it really did start
4072s to become a problem specifically on
4073s their defense there was just no point of
4076s stabilization once they lost that first
4077s point and even arguably uh when they
4080s were defending that first objective so
4081s they started to lose that fire Senna was
4084s losing that fire we didn't get to see
4086s those pop-off plays again and I part of
4087s that I yes she was on the symmetra so
4090s you're not going to see it as much and
4092s it's not a comfort hero for her it's not
4094s something that she's specifically known
4095s for outside of that hitscan range so
4097s that you do have that working for you as
4099s well and this whole map of New Bonnie
4101s was just not it for drainers and I think
4103s they knew that kind of heading into
4105s today the amount of times they play
4106s hybrid the amount of times they've lost
4108s hybrid more specifically is just crazy
4110s Flashpoint on the other hand this is
4112s where they started to mount their
4113s comeback against Washington time lapse
4115s where they almost got to that reverse
4117s sweep was starting on Flashpoint it was
4119s I believe a 3-1 finish I want to say uh
4122s when it all got set and done because of
4123s that really strong momentum that they
4125s had they can't read that forward they
4127s had the wanting to be able to win and
4129s had those that speed cooldowns really
4132s working out for them you put Kindred on
4133s that junker Queen they do great you take
4136s Kindred off I start to have questions
4139s well if I think if Washington Timeless
4141s wants to close this out quickly and shut
4143s the door on drainers as much as we love
4146s seeing Sawhill I think possibly keeping
4148s sniper in on that JQ and going into this
4151s next map is honestly the better way to
4153s go just because the cool the
4155s anticipation of cooldown usage which
4156s comes with time when you play with the
4157s teammate and supports understanding
4159s without having to like audibly
4161s communicate to their tank or vice versa
4162s tank to backline what they're looking or
4164s wanting to do or when they're going to
4166s be using specific cooldowns and the
4168s habits that they produce with their
4169s positioning having that type of synergy
4171s between backline and front line and
4173s being able to rotate to keep that Tempo
4175s control going keep the momentum moving
4177s forward was definitely apparent here on
4179s new Bonnie and if they can carry that
4180s over into Flashpoint
4182s it it's going to be extremely difficult
4184s for drainers to pull that one back in
4186s their favor
4187s and it's a very difficult situation to
4191s get a read on here right because
4193s drainers they still took away that first
4195s map they know that they can beat
4196s Washington Timeless but can they really
4200s pull it together on these more
4201s structured Maps Flashpoint arguably
4204s is the most important map type when it
4206s comes to decision making on Ultimate
4208s usage are you even going to take a fight
4210s for that matter at those points they
4211s take up super fast and the response it
4213s takes about 40 seconds at points to come
4216s back if you end up going down so you
4218s really need to be mindful of how when
4220s and where you're taking these fights
4222s which is something that Washington
4223s Timeless are simply better at from what
4225s we've seen so far drainers they thrive
4227s in that chaos and if they're the
4229s weaknesses are completely opposite of
4231s each other the weakness of Timeless is
4233s draener's strength and that's kind of
4235s the the little push and pull this
4238s balance skill that we've been playing
4239s with throughout this whole match is when
4241s one team is able to be decisive and the
4243s other one feeds off of chaos and they
4245s end up flipping it around well I
4248s certainly do wonder who is going to win
4249s who's going to be able to get their act
4251s together and keep it that way for the
4252s whole map to carry out that consistency
4255s and that you bring up a very strong
4257s point with how they feed off of each
4258s other in in a not great way because
4260s obviously they are opponents but when it
4263s comes to these Flashpoint Maps you have
4265s to there has to be a decisive call from
4266s your tank based off of what abilities
4267s you have what else you have and where
4269s the next flash point is are you going to
4271s try and catch the enemy in rotation or
4274s are you just trying to beat them to the
4275s point and lock it down and that Split
4278s Second decision can lead to utter chaos
4281s or it can lead to destruction of the
4284s enemy team so if the drainers manage to
4286s force the chaos to happen they can be
4289s very successful catch the team and catch
4291s Timeless in rotation and then claim the
4293s objective that can work out in their
4295s favor even if Timeless is like okay
4296s we're gonna trap them at their spawn
4298s real fast and catch them in rotation if
4299s the chaos starts that is where the
4301s drainers will start to get a foothold on
4303s the fight
4304s end up eliminating people and then
4305s everyone's alive for them they just
4307s start walking over to the objective and
4308s you gotta keep in mind it's 108 meters
4310s to walk it is a long it is a long
4313s rotation from Spawn to the next
4315s objective whereas if you're at the old
4317s objective and everyone's alive and you
4319s just walk there as a unit no one gets
4320s eliminated it's a little bit easier to
4323s get a foothold there we'll have to see
4324s what the teams decide to do and also of
4327s course I'm interested which tank is
4328s going to stay in for the side of
4329s Timeless and how that's going to impact
4331s the overall play style of the Timeless
4333s side of the map
4335s I would also really like to see sniper
4337s stay in here which does appear to be the
4340s case there haven't been any
4341s substitutions on the side of Washington
4344s to high levels I can't say the same
4346s thing for the other end we have a new
4348s DPS making a appearance it will be yes
4351s coming in on the flex so Genji is the
4355s selection of choice which we've
4357s typically seen mirrored from Bonus yes
4359s still has the ability to kind of pull
4362s this out and is going to be looking to
4363s shut down these players to get into the
4365s back line make their lives difficult
4367s and Bun actually swatched back over to
4369s the Genji just using symmetra to give a
4371s TP to her team and then swapping Genji
4375s dashing out pretty standard to either do
4377s that with Genji or Tracer sometimes
4378s Reapers do it we've got teams rotating
4380s to get into position doing the Poke
4382s fight phase and it looks like snozzler
4384s very charged might be able to get a rail
4386s shot in on a squishy delete them and as
4388s I say it down goes chosen beautiful
4391s beautiful Hedgehog coming in right there
4392s and this is what we're talking about
4394s snozzler has been the more consistent
4396s hitscan DPS right now and getting that
4399s advantage in there early allowing bun to
4401s just shred through the remainder of the
4404s Raiders getting those cleanups I mean
4406s wow watching Timeless they're here to
4408s play
4409s and this time we had Kirito stay on
4412s point to lock it down using Swift stuff
4414s to reconvene with the rest of the
4416s Timeless Squad and yeah you mentioned it
4420s the DPS the hit scan snozzler on this
4424s sojourn looks very confident and
4426s comfortable this fight is going to still
4427s be remaining relatively neutral as these
4430s teams are trying to get their ultimates
4431s up however Orion with this petico
4433s theoretically can get Kitsune Rush here
4435s and that can turn the tides completely
4437s and send drainers all back to spawn if
4440s if Orion pops it as soon as it's online
4443s they're not they're not gonna have a
4445s chance to pop at those
4447s aggressive out of the sight lines of
4449s their supports and trainers they're
4450s gonna be able to snowball that one
4451s Washington time was for two undevice
4453s sizes whether they wanted to take the
4454s fight or not sniper went in nobody was
4457s there to follow up and trainers they're
4459s gonna get that flip
4462s and going into the next fight chosen as
4465s well as Orient both with katsune Rush
4466s Elaine and the Mahler again matching on
4469s beat charge across the board things are
4471s relatively equal this comes down to the
4473s decisiveness plays that we mentioned
4474s earlier who's going to create the
4476s opportunity first and put their team in
4479s the advantageous positioning rather than
4481s giving up space as we have an early
4482s deflect here's the katsune rush coming
4484s out from chosen oh we wanted someone
4487s from Orion first but trainers just took
4489s the fight to Timeless and look how much
4491s space that ended up buying them now they
4493s can just feed back off and drainers
4495s they're gonna be able to get through
4496s that choking timeless

4500s was the player to come up big it didn't
4502s even have the opportunity chosen the
4504s boys he denied no option given
4507s Washington timelessly know if it's gonna
4508s be the last fight they take on this
4510s point and you're gonna convince all to
4511s do it yeah
4514s but doesn't end up getting it the rest
4516s of the team so playing off of the damage
4518s that space the labs was able to gain
4520s them on the Genji and wow that was dicey
4524s for them starting out they backed off so
4526s far but came back in the end to take
4527s Arena
4530s and you mentioned I I also agreed for
4533s like the instant that I was first popped
4535s that gets tsune Rush coming out from
4537s chosen first rather than Orient it made
4539s sense in the moment that it could lock
4541s down the lane that they were looking to
4543s egress through but they didn't
4544s capitalize on it as we saw the rest of
4546s the and the rest of the side of
4548s Washington Timeless back off but when
4550s that continue Rush went down that was
4551s the moment when Oreo needed to
4553s immediately pop kitsuneres to counter
4555s rush so to speak but give their team a
4557s little bit of extra time with the
4559s katsune rush to start cleaning up and
4560s unfortunately that just did not happen I
4562s don't know what the call was of course
4563s we can't hear the comms but the
4565s hesitation that existed in that instance
4567s I do believe is what ended up being like
4569s the bane of that entire fight and
4571s ultimately losing them that that flash
4573s point
4574s it seriously came down to that Split
4576s Second with hesitation
4578s all that you needed right there was that
4580s that pick and Orion hesitated for a
4582s little too long and you ended up
4584s allowing the team to see your opponents
4585s to successfully Retreat and they had the
4587s sight line on you you can't match you go
4589s in their stasler attempting to buy this
4591s space but receives a kunai to the Dome
4593s and just Falls over backwards so you
4595s don't have that ultimate to really help
4597s power you and from there it all just
4599s kind of crumbled and I think that's one
4601s of the most challenging things about
4602s Flashpoint specifically is mounting a
4605s comeback when you commit all of these
4606s resources to that first point such as
4608s Arena it's very difficult to start
4610s managing that once again because those
4612s points take up at what I believe it's
4614s 1.8 percentage per second I love my
4616s numbers don't mind me but at that one
4618s point eight percent per second you're
4620s looking at a fight that you need to take
4622s so quickly you need to be decisive what
4623s you do that these small seconds of
4625s hesitations are gonna come back and bite
4627s you and it puts Washington finals in a
4628s situation where they don't have the
4630s ultimate tier to come through all you
4632s have is that Rampage which can easily be
4634s counted out by a well-placed suzu and
4636s drainers
4638s this battle started out here onto the
4640s Bob plant the initiation though from
4642s sniper they did it first and they're
4644s gonna do it better Washington Timeless
4645s not far behind at all it's like they're
4647s hearing us speak nerdy bird
4649s I think that timeout from Washington
4651s Timeless was a moment for them to
4653s reconvene and be like hey what's going
4655s on why aren't we trusting our own skill
4657s here which is we mentioned the
4659s hesitation and that is something that
4660s when you're under pressure you're
4662s looking to you know this is your this is
4663s do or die if you lose out on this series
4665s you're done for the rest of this minor
4668s but these players have made it this far
4670s they need to have confidence in their
4671s gameplay if you think you should ult at
4673s a certain time and it was discussed with
4674s your team that you probably should as
4675s well like that's the plan don't let that
4678s hesitation a little voice in your head
4679s stop you from doing it as we hear
4681s overclock get popped from the side of
4684s Santa
4685s and rotating onto the back platform
4687s eliminating snozzler it's not like you
4690s had every opportunity there to get to
4692s cover but you didn't you have to be
4694s respecting Santa like that oh like that
4696s is just Washington they got you
4698s confident and they're still engaging
4699s into this granted against some Ultimate
4702s Tools out of the drainers which yes that
4704s will be beneficial in the war they
4706s arguably over committed into that with
4707s both the katsune and the Rampage
4711s I think they over committed they already
4713s had the advantage snazzler got deleted
4715s got called out by tiny at the same time
4718s yes we do need to respect Senna I mean
4721s if Santa's gonna respect you when you
4722s click overclock and go into Los you
4725s should also do the same because both of
4726s you are very scary on these hit scans
4728s and yeah I over commitment with those
4730s ultimates we are encroaching in on last
4734s fight here it made sense but because
4736s they cleaned up so fast Washington times
4738s can mount to come back
4740s and they have the ultimates to be able
4741s to do this but by him Falls really low
4743s this Dragon Blade isn't going to
4747s she's cannot oh but it's not always time
4750s Revengers if you're the better Soldier
4752s player here I'm sitting I'm waiting for
4754s something to come up with the kill speed
4755s but it simply is not present at least it
4757s got the trainer's health bar relatively
4759s drained and assuming they've managed to
4761s get off the point there we go Washington
4762s Timeless
4764s I don't know about that sound barrier to
4766s be totally honest with you I actually do
4768s not like that sound barrier whatsoever
4771s considering that there was no DBS online
4773s for the side of Washington Timeless they
4775s had to do something to equalize it more
4776s in their favor so that sound barrier was
4778s used Sniper got very low so it made
4779s sense the only tragedy is now there's
4782s two DBS ults coming online for the side
4783s of the drainers that we have no beat nor
4786s could scenarios to try and encounter and
4787s have to heavily rely on sniper using
4790s Rampage after they force out chosen suzu
4793s that's what they have to look for here
4794s they need to take an early fight force
4796s chosen to be uncomfortable
4798s assistant
4803s across the objective on the junker Queen
4806s I mean they've just been crazy on this
4809s map beautiful specifically on bomb
4812s plants here and wow that is just gonna
4813s get them right back into congestion
4815s that that was absolutely beautiful
4817s perfectly well executed from sniper
4819s sniper knew the assignment and said I'm
4821s gonna get an A
4823s that is exactly what sniper did I'll
4825s give you a gold star
4827s good noodle stars all around

4851s they bought the space time was respected
4853s the ultimate for the first time so zaxo
4855s keeps them in the fight but he has out
4857s ear scratches through these players like
4860s fruit ninja right now and oh that is a
4862s big pick to start this one off and
4864s titles they just don't have that damage
4866s to Rally behind in order to give up
4870s both DPS faults from drainers used the
4873s beat was expunged from the side of
4874s Washington Timeless the previous fight
4875s made sense they knew the opportunity
4877s they took advantage they also staggered
4878s them that's the important key here they
4880s use Senate against space knowing that
4881s Washington time was probably didn't want
4883s to make the same mistake twice and Peak
4884s an ulting sojourn and then we had Genji
4887s follow up with the blade now Timeless
4889s has the opportunity to do the exact same
4890s thing but the issue is portals are
4892s online for drainers and if they pop them
4894s early it could be a little bit rough
4896s because it could all be a bait and
4898s switch coming out for Washington
4899s Timeless now that katsuna Rush is
4900s expunged and that's actually totally
4902s fine especially with
4908s them it looks like it was on the
4910s backside based on where Santa was
4911s positioning but you just can't let these
4913s things happen oh
4917s snakes were made they just have to be
4919s cleaned up we do have b as well as
4922s Rampage coming off from drainers and
4923s they could combo those to make sure they
4925s can push out of this doorway and just
4926s force back Washington Timeless however
4928s Washington Timeless is going to pop the
4929s continue Rush early Force back and claim
4932s a lot of space with snozzler using the
4934s overclock
4935s what perfect timing on that sound
4937s barrier dude Elaine just give that
4938s little extra bit of help just the
4940s drainers as they're trying to fight this
4941s one out but finds all the opportunity
4946s they don't have the numbers here it's a
4949s two of E4 and one that they are very
4951s unlikely to come out on top of so as
4953s cool as the shutdowns were the counter
4954s play was present the Timeless are still
4957s gonna have to say on this map
4960s um I'm Gonna Keep it a buck though
4961s Martian Timeless has to make up a lot of
4964s percentage points and if they lose one
4965s fight here and they have to survive
4967s roughly two it's gonna be this point
4970s going over towards team drainers now the
4972s one thing I will point out is Lane used
4974s that beat I thought it was going to get
4975s Ajax I'm gonna be honest didn't get Ajax
4978s sustained a little bit longer but now
4980s doesn't have it and we have Rampage and
4982s beat coming up online for Timeless and
4984s if they spend both they could come out
4986s on top of this next fight and close out
4987s this this flash point

4990s I do think right now the Timeless sniper
4992s has been so much better than Kindred
4995s when it comes to these ramp ages so
4997s sniper just goes in early with this but
4999s as soon as they see that then this is
5001s done this is just done
5005s a sniper catches three players and just
5007s the three that you need Washington
5008s titles they're so good about fading out
5010s these key moments for them to find the
5013s best success possible
5014s it is honestly it comes down to when
5016s you're fight planning knowing what the
5018s enemy has what is their win condition
5019s the back your mind you need to keep that
5021s there as a support and one of the
5022s biggest things anyone can do in
5024s OverWatch it's not showing all your
5025s cards in front of the enemy team so to
5026s speak and that is not putting your team
5028s like tell your team I don't want to use
5030s suzu early do not let them Bunch up do
5032s not let them all get axed tell them
5034s don't Bunch up because that's exactly
5036s what happened all of them token ax to
5039s the face and chosen had no choice but to
5041s drop the suzu opening the doorway for
5043s Sniper to use that Rampage
5046s and that's really gonna start to show
5048s pyramids Raiders they have the ultimate
5050s Advantage especially on a map like
5051s Refinery you gotta shut this one down
5055s this is just two powerful the fox just
5058s said yep yep goodbye the rest of
5060s drainage but Kindred still decided to
5062s commit towards the tail and pick up a
5064s triple kill all right this trip I see
5066s you but you don't have the support to
5068s keep yourself up in this fight as flashy
5070s as it was I think she knows that this
5071s one is good is over
5073s the hero plays in organized competitive
5077s play Hero plays do not typically work
5079s out I understood why Kindred looked for
5082s it it was theoretically just numbers
5084s wise successful but to win the fight it
5086s was not it ended up being a 2V1 and not
5088s Lucio on top of JQ good luck trying to
5093s kill that when you're our solo JQ
5096s Honestly though it is as cool as JQ is
5099s in terms of the way that she can sustain
5100s herself
5102s you just don't win in matchups like that
5104s and losing that fight that's 15
5106s basically on the board for tunnels right
5108s now they're gonna make it more
5110s friends dinosaur just took out her own
5112s teammate oh that is gonna hurt one
5115s roughly cursing them out right about now
5117s and I don't believe them because
5119s strainers they're essentially gonna get

5124s it's always like the okay who shot the
5126s Genji or like wow I didn't know Genji
5129s got such a huge Buff when did he get a

5138s an advantage with ultimates but it's a
5140s matter of how they use them
5143s had the advantage of one has not had a
5145s good time on this Dragon Blade

5148s chilling on top of that sound barrier
5150s you're not really going to want to pull
5151s that one out until you can get that up
5153s of your own so I'm not even gonna
5155s acknowledge Dragon Blade I want to look
5156s at sniper's ultimate that Rampage has
5159s won basically every fight that it has
5162s been popped so if sniper can buy the
5164s success on their ultimate I think this
5165s can happen that does depend on bun
5167s getting all of his cooldowns out the
5169s dragonblade is just for show right now
5170s getting set up is just a little cherry
5172s on top you're still AB sniper to be able
5175s to work with and you can just hold on to
5177s it for next fight
5178s not to mention the bun using blade was
5181s most likely a bait to force out the
5184s Lucio beat and hearing the Lucio beat go
5186s off and
5187s of course the knee-jerk reaction for
5189s most Lucio's I'm gonna say this was
5190s calculated though you typically want a
5192s mirror beat about a second and a half
5194s afterwards we exactly saw that happen
5195s and now sniper even if suzu is used is
5200s able to go in with Rampage will not have
5201s to worry about a sound memory or keeping
5203s the enemy team alive not at all right
5211s does that damage out at this point if
5213s this goes the way it's Timeless this is
5214s game that is map number three going
5217s their way and sniper already off to a
5218s good start all the ultimates coming out
5220s of drain as I can if he and not Gibson
5222s Lane picking up one of these but
5224s Timeless they're still on the points
5225s miles Larson still on the point and
5226s nobody can get there what a genius move
5229s from Timeless to fight off of the
5230s objective deny that space and the touch
5233s at the end they are sitting on Match
5235s Point they want that rematch against
5237s Rift and they want it bad
5239s they do and you mentioned it pulling
5241s them off the point I mean Genji dove
5243s into the back line said you know you're
5245s low either you fight me here or I pinch
5248s you off into my team if you touch the
5249s point either way you are in Checkmate it
5253s was very successful inside of Washington

5428s we really thought that and we got to see
5430s sniper that main Tank Hero at a lot of
5433s points coming in being that shock hauler
5435s being that in-game leader getting their
5437s team up to this match point despite
5439s going down in map number one they've

5467s one of a absolutely horrifying hit scan
5470s to face up against one that you love to
5472s cheer for when they pop off but if she
5475s finds you know those opportunities and
5477s she feels like she the confidence that
5479s she needs to here to pop off it could be
5482s extremely deadly and I'm just wondering
5484s how much we're going to be having to see
5486s a lot of bobbing and weaving and playing
5487s around corners from both teams
5489s considering how oppressive these hitscan
5491s players can be and capitalizing on when
5494s a player decides to Peak too early or
5496s Peaks for too long it's ultimately going
5499s to be a deciding factor for at least
5501s claiming the bot for the first fight
5503s yes and climbing the bar for the first
5506s plight oh let me tell you if you have
5508s not seen a competitive match on coliseo
5510s you are in for a treat or well maybe not
5514s a treat I hope you like watching the
5515s Coliseum and watching it for about the
5517s first five minutes of gameplay because
5518s that is where we will be fighting this
5520s robot specifically on this map is just
5524s not a good first fight to win if you
5526s come out on top you're taking another
5527s one at the end of the Coliseum you go
5529s back and forth for a while but you're
5530s fighting in this exact same strip of
5532s land and it takes these teams that come
5535s out with the strong starts on any push
5537s map you get that momentum in your favor
5539s it is an easy ride through towards the
5541s victory you'd have to seriously do
5543s something wrong in order to lose after
5545s getting that first checkpoint on coliseo
5547s specifically so if Washington time must
5550s come out blazing like they were in the
5552s previous map then I they're in big
5555s trouble if this could be it this could
5556s be them going to the Grand finals right
5558s now nerdy bird and drainers they need to
5560s give me a reason to believe that they
5562s can start that combat and I want it to
5564s be Senna Senna was great on that first
5566s map Senna was bid on the second and
5568s third map I wanted to see Santa be great
5570s again and I genuinely believe that this
5572s map is meant for her
5576s I feel like you're putting a lot of
5578s pressure on Senna I have apologize onto
5582s the path of the broadcast for the
5583s pressure that you are feeling Senna but
5585s with that being said Chinese 100 right
5587s this long Corridor that we have to stay
5590s no half the map will probably see this
5593s long Corridor where the bot starts it is
5596s so narrow it creates one sight line of
5598s people don't take flank angles and the
5600s other thing is object permanence I tend
5602s to see some OverWatch players lose
5605s if one side decides okay we're not gonna
5608s win just the front line pressure you
5610s know
5611s the hide and seek sniper game Let's
5614s actually start you know creating
5615s opportunities for ourselves let's get
5617s more mobility and go for these flank
5619s angles pull attention away from the
5620s front line and then start moving in as
5622s that attention is being pulled oh no if
5624s if one side recognizes there's someone
5627s flanking and we see that they they
5629s notice his players like coming around
5631s the right side or is behind a corridor
5632s and then they ignore it and then someone
5634s gets killed I'm going to question the
5636s object permanence of players all over
5639s again because it seems to happen too
5640s frequently in OverWatch on this map too
5643s I mean there's so many little nooks and
5645s crownies you could just chill in in the
5646s Coliseum part and whoo that gets a
5649s little messy and what else is gonna get
5651s messy here is this Reinhardt I just
5654s don't like it all right Kindred she's
5656s great at rhyme that's not what's up for
5657s question it's the actual hero selections
5660s and when you're playing into the junker
5661s queen of sniper and use the pressure
5663s from snozzler and Bun like you just sit
5666s there and take damage you don't do much
5668s and it's a big problem for drainers when
5670s they try to engage or if they engage but
5672s the thing that they've changed here is
5674s that they brought in yes on May and of
5677s Walling off a JQ when there is no one
5680s really that's able to then close that
5682s distance and get over the wall you can
5683s eviscerate the front line that comes out
5685s from Washington Timeless but you have to
5687s catch sniper in a bad position and
5690s sniper plays to their own strength
5692s sniper recognizes I'm going to be in a
5695s bad spot if I do this and wait for the
5696s opportunities where it's safe
5699s speaking of waiting welcome to the
5702s waiting room as I like to call coliseo
5703s no we have started the map ladies and
5705s gentlemen that is currently where we are
5707s at we are we we are starting the map of
5709s Coliseum nobody wants to make a move
5711s it's been well over a minute at this
5713s point and uh no final blows Kindred
5716s hasn't gone in and heck we haven't seen
5718s the same thing from sniper and we're
5720s starting to get a little bit antsy out
5721s here or at least I'm getting antsy I
5723s want to see some action I don't want to
5724s see these blows traded back and forth
5726s there's not even any ultimates that are
5727s close to coming online somebody has to
5729s make the first move right now and right
5731s and Sutton Osler wants to be that player
5733s the immortality field is out and down
5735s goes shows as great as they got
5737s aggressive they walk in to sniper and
5739s that was a big big mistake here you're
5742s not gonna win that battle up close and
5744s Timeless they're gonna come out on top
5745s as a result
5746s yeah just as we start getting a little
5749s bit antsy I think inside a drainers did
5751s as well and honestly
5754s that was a big mistake that it is a game
5757s of cat and mouse it's a game of chicken
5760s you need to wait it out and you
5762s mentioned it looks like we're just
5763s passively waiting for olds to come
5764s online and they it kind of is in that
5766s long Corridor for most of the times that
5768s I've seen coliseo on broadcast yeah you
5772s just gotta do you know the Poke map but
5774s unfortunately drainers don't really have
5776s that poke without using ultimate no they
5780s don't but the advantage is is you have
5781s sent on The Bash and who does insane
5783s amounts of damage output
5785s great start because you take away that
5787s Mobility tool the Mauler it's been a
5789s huge part of timeless's ability to take
5791s these fights and they suddenly are on
5793s the back pedal here moving as far back
5795s as they can but oh no it's not dark ends
5797s up getting caught out and will be taken
5799s down huge dagger pick from trainers and
5801s there's bound to be more to come
5802s especially when where you see this blue
5804s stone Genji are located
5809s riding to safety as most lucios do
5811s giving their get people love and care we
5815s hear Rampage sniper gets charged
5818s beats wow that was just sniper no Citron
5823s is done done with sniper right now and
5826s yeah you shut down the tank but you
5828s didn't shut down bun or sauce that was
5830s four ultimates for Washington time let's
5832s end three from the dreamers it was a
5834s costly fight but that one extra mile
5836s that you added with that Dragon Blade
5837s put them over the top
5839s yeah you have to pay it's it's coining
5842s the ultimate you lose someone you pay it
5844s all the enemy team holds you panel to
5846s equalize and Timeless recognize and one
5848s extra old was what it was needed but the
5851s issue here is that we've got Senna now
5853s dropping the artillery strike and we
5855s lose snozzler before this full fight and
5857s engage has even started
5859s oh it's the second time snazzler's gone
5861s down at first and drainers are really
5864s capitalizing off that snozzler is very
5866s gutsy when it comes to playing the DPS
5868s they have confidence that they are
5869s better which sure you can do that
5871s sometimes but that doesn't mean set on
5872s yabs are gonna punish you for it
5874s you have to properly execute it and
5876s execute it at the right times is what
5878s we're saying here from broadcast
5881s we do see shows an early engage with the
5884s amplification Matrix
5886s yeah for Matrix is out but the high
5889s grounds is easily in control of
5890s Washington Timeless and this is why we
5892s are in the Coliseum for so long as you
5894s can't sit on those icons forever and
5895s just take a beating from above and stops
5898s or get yourself through the robot that
5900s is disgusting yeah exactly isn't happy
5903s about that one neither is the rest of
5905s their team gonna be a happy smiley
5906s places The Shield only does so much
5908s Kindred the rest of your team has to
5910s reset
5911s the tragedy of playing Reinhardt into
5914s this JQ and into a a handful of other
5917s tanks is when it is just you and someone
5919s else your only option is to sit there
5920s and hold shield and pray the heal
5922s differential and the health differential
5924s is enough that your other DPS comes out
5926s on top of that 2V1 but you're bleeding
5929s all over the place and your only source
5932s of comfort is your Shield but it's
5933s slowly breaking Kindred I just want to
5935s see that JQ mirror match up again
5938s you did the Reinhard isn't it it really
5940s is not it and Kendrick is forcing it so
5942s hard and their team is taking a beating
5945s and just getting walked on as a result
5946s they don't have the ultimates to really
5948s Temple this dragonblade button should
5950s know that heading in and has to be
5952s careful of how they're playing out I
5953s mean to support pouring in for Sniper is
5955s unmatched because Kendrick just requires
5957s so much of more of it because of the
5959s heroes that they're playing and it's
5961s just Timeless they have the better comp
5962s here and drainers are struggling to
5965s catch up because of it
5967s shatter goes down though picks up
5970s it's something for drainers I mean this
5973s is a staggered out fight it buys time
5974s off the clock which with Washington
5976s Timeless currently in that lead those
5977s about what is that I okay never mind I'm
5980s not a numbers person about there are 18
5981s meters here that we're looking at nope
5983s not even close but we're gonna leave it
5984s at that the Timeless have over the heads
5987s of drainers
5989s they also were extremely close to
5991s getting that checkpoint and when that
5992s chowder went down from Kindred two
5994s dropped the bun also picked up two out
5997s of our line of sight so it equalized it
6000s just happened to be that bun and the
6002s Mueller decided hey we're in a 2v3 they
6004s have close response let's back off works
6007s out now they actually have that High
6008s Ground positioning and have the
6009s opportunity to create an advantage we
6010s hear ant Matrix early from chosen
6013s edit Matrix is really early but it
6015s doesn't save the player at all and
6017s there's no support remaining and the
6019s nice thing about it is Washington Thomas
6020s they don't have to invest anything into
6023s this fight at all and that is going to
6025s hurt drainer's ultimate economy as it
6027s continues to progress
6029s only issue like yes ulting first is fine
6032s ulting early to hit or miss the issue is
6034s the positioning of that amp Matrix it
6036s was on the left side High Ground almost
6038s flat to where Timeless was positioned
6040s and to get value from that you want to
6043s have one or two people of your team in
6045s front of you and the enemies you double
6048s down on damage and healing and it just
6049s was not there for chosen no and this is
6052s why the dreams they need to take an
6053s advantage here pick a snowboard guess
6055s what is in your back line fire away with
6057s this overclock why would trainers they
6059s just let The High Ground go over to
6061s Washington timeless's DPS and that is
6063s what happened in Washington title they
6065s had the positioning they had the height
6067s and trainers could do nothing about it
6072s right now I'm watching Timeless getting
6074s very close to the first checkpoint we
6077s are now at the sub three minute Mark
6079s which means we're halfway through no
6080s checkpoints claimed there's amp Matrix
6083s to keep our front line alive for Sniper
6086s and unfortunately drainer's just forced
6088s to back up yeah
6090s they pack up but they give up that point
6092s and like I said before you lose the
6095s point on coliseo map you are now favored
6097s 80 in favor of that forward team of
6101s coming out on top right now and only two
6102s minutes to turn this around this is not
6104s an easy attack for trainers they have to
6106s do something to start turning the tides
6108s and it's a dragon blade from Santa just
6110s to grab one a hero I don't see her on
6113s too often at all and even if they have
6115s control of the robots they don't have
6117s control of the fight at all dirty bird
6120s they don't and it's it's a balancing act
6122s a very fine one to decide what you want
6125s to do and right now Lucio has decided to
6127s take the bot on a journey at least try
6129s to get it to the halfway point get rid
6130s of those forward spawns it lasts for a
6132s little bit will give drainers some time
6134s here to reconvene get closer but I they
6138s did not get rid of those full response
6139s and that is what's going to play in
6141s favor of Washington Timeless right now
6142s especially they have Genji blade but
6144s chosen has amp so maybe maybe they'll
6148s delete fun in this Blade with the amp
6150s Matrix we'll have to see I don't know if
6152s you want to say that but because bun has
6153s been deleted several times by chosen
6155s specifically when this Dragon Blade has
6157s been popped so not the best track record
6159s going with Fords with this ultimate I
6161s mean you have to combo it up with
6162s snozzar here just to try to get some of
6164s this chip damage the image is used
6166s defensively as a zoning tool as a matter
6168s of fact and you need to be careful
6170s without their bling I mean that's the
6172s aggression that starzar has I dare say
6174s an ego that there's just the confidence
6176s that saslar is able to play with here to
6178s bait the players back into their
6180s position yeah they trade out their life
6182s for it they get strainers away from the
6184s robot they can't make that progress and
6185s with a minute remaining they have a
6187s mountain to climb
6189s it's not impossible we've seen teams
6192s overcome these herculin tasks before in
6196s the soft reset here that takes some
6198s discipline and understanding of where
6200s the enemy team is at and if you have the
6201s advantage enough to do so the issue
6204s again I gotta point out snazzler on this
6206s High Ground there is nothing that can be
6208s done against nazlar without giving up
6210s well honestly putting yourself in a bad
6212s position unless Senna can get some nice
6215s damage from the low ground having
6216s swapped over to capacity
6218s that's all you can do at this time and
6220s you can't Peak the high grounds Ryan's
6222s got a nice little ant Matrix up there
6224s and unless you want a first class ticket
6225s back to spawn you better be keeping your
6228s heads protected down under the cover of
6229s the Coliseum and this robot's not gonna
6231s move its last final fight here and the
6233s sniper has the win condition everybody
6236s hit with that ultimate lean South area
6238s only does so much here but sniper walked
6241s back into the blizzard needs to be
6242s careful of how they play moving forward
6244s support traded out both for blowing
6246s Washington Timeless they are the ones in
6248s the Jewel of the robot in control of the
6251s series they want that rematch and they
6253s are gonna go ahead and get it it is the
6256s Washington Timeless team moving on to
6259s the Grand finals
6264s okay so we know Timeless has made it
6266s forward but we do have to focus on
6267s drainers a little bit here and give them
6268s some props and kudos
6270s okay after we see snazzlers play the
6272s game we'll see this first watch watch
6274s the moment yeah I'm not this is kind of
6276s what I figured would be the play of the
6278s game
6279s nicely done well executed controlling
6282s High grounds definitely a strong point
6284s especially on coliseo got to make sure
6286s you understand positioning but drainers
6288s you made it really far you did well you
6291s get you're still you still are gonna
6293s walk away with a little bit of money
6294s some circuit points and knowing in your
6297s like that you made it this far just
6299s means that next time you can go even
6300s farther you have a benchmark now it just
6302s got to keep improving the end of the day
6304s there was just a slight just you know
6307s Timeless had one thing that they
6308s executed differently than you did and
6310s unfortunately as much as we dogged on it
6313s I think it really did come down to
6314s compositions and setting them up early
6316s and understanding win conditions for
6317s those comps and hopefully next time they
6320s fit rectify the situation and come out
6321s even stronger
6324s this is what you bring up and drainers
6325s there are a bunch of experienced
6327s competitors here I mean they know what
6329s they're doing they know how to play the
6330s game that isn't the question it was more
6332s it kind of came down to is forcing this
6335s Reinhardt I mean Kindred was just
6337s getting beaten up out there and you can
6340s have the best support players in the
6342s world to try to keep this ride hard up
6344s and going and it just does not work out
6346s into players like sniper like snozzler
6348s that are continuously applying that
6350s pressure and Timeless in the end they
6352s have a clear idea of how to play in this
6355s matter of what to play in this meta and
6357s that is going to get them that Victory
6358s three and one over the drainers and it
6361s sets such a confident tone too heading
6363s into that grand finals especially
6364s knowing how their last meeting with the
6366s Valiant Guardians ended up going
6369s well hopefully they come hungry both
6371s teams better come hungry for victory
6373s because we need to see everyone pull out
6375s every stop I want to see almost
6378s borderline I know this is putting a lot
6379s of pressure on people and it's not gonna
6381s happen but imagine almost a perfect
6383s gameplay coming out from these teams
6384s minimal mistakes I mean Timeless they
6387s goofed up sometimes but they they pulled
6389s through they got it together especially
6390s after that pause when they lost first
6393s point on on new junk City you can see
6396s the gear started firing Greece was there
6398s they were all ready to go and locked in
6400s and focused on getting that Victory we
6402s just need to see that carry over the one
6404s thing is yeah you're warmed up but are
6405s you gonna get tired now as we go into
6407s the next best of five because oh yeah
6409s unfortunately for them uh being warm but
6412s having to play almost a full five game
6414s series can be a little bit of a
6415s disadvantage because you do get a little
6416s bit gassed
6418s certainly do and I mean Washington
6420s Timeless they'll have a little bit of
6422s time that's kind of funny to be able to
6424s just reevaluate go over that last series
6427s what worked what didn't and how can they
6429s push that forwards I mean trainers
6431s they're not a bad team but Valiant
6432s Gardens that is a whole nother Beast
6435s that you have to worry about conquering
6437s and in that amount of time we actually
6439s get a little bit of insight on that

6443s player from the Washington Timeless team

7149s could do it again overcome your

7154s focus up focus on the challenge in front

7161s believe we mentioned the that was

7210s better than the other no that was not

7215s those four Maps was down to the wire it

7223s here is Washington Timeless they're in
7225s for the Revenge game right now they made
7228s the gods bleed here they took that map
7231s off no one else has been able to
7232s accomplish it and here they are again

7238s everything out for them laid as a red
7241s carpet essentially for them to walk down
7243s meet the opponents waiting for them to

7253s to refer to it as the Redemption bracket
7255s because right now Washington Timeless
7258s has been on their Redemption Arc this is
7260s their opportunity to come back and

7266s Guardians the question is will they be
7268s able to do that will they be able to
7269s execute everything that they want to in
7270s these Maps or is the value just going to

7283s of course when you're actually playing
7285s it's a lot harder to do it's easier said
7288s than done as our parents would like to
7289s tell us at the end of the day it's going
7291s to come down to skill trust and faith in
7294s your teammates and understanding when
7296s conditions playing to your advantages
7298s and keeping those advantages regardless
7300s who comes out on top the ones that
7301s execute that the best are going to be
7303s victorious
7304s and I think that compared to our last
7306s series Washington Timeless we're the
7308s team that we recognized that okay when
7310s sniper is in all the tank which I am
7312s very glad that they are returning in for
7314s this first control map there is some
7317s serious cohesion that ends up happening
7318s between all five members of this roster
7321s and that is the reason they take these
7323s maps to the distance they make them
7325s close because they're able to play
7326s together they have those Communications
7328s that are just laid out in place you can
7329s see them just unfolding in front of you
7331s and it's so beautiful to be able to see
7333s that the time that Timeless with the
7335s coaches that they have with the in-game
7337s leaders uh that they have their access
7339s to that they use all of those resources
7341s and put them out to their advantage but
7343s that isn't to say that the Valiant
7344s Gardens Guardians do the exact same
7346s thing and you can't say if not better if
7350s the pass has told us anything with their
7351s current record
7352s yeah and when we spoke to Valiant
7355s Guardians on day one moving fish came in
7358s very similar style to infected and just
7360s said you know I know I trust my team I
7363s know we're gonna win every map we went
7365s into I had the confidence in my
7367s teammates that I needed to and you know
7370s ultimately it's been working the
7372s confidence played dropping that trap
7373s card down and just being like go for it
7375s be ready for what I'll pull out
7376s afterwards type deal has been working
7378s for them now the question is is has
7381s Timeless made enough adjustments to you
7384s know counter the play that's coming out
7385s from the Valiant Guardians because based
7387s off of Just compositions alone favored
7389s picks both these teams do actually favor
7391s very similar Heroes very similar
7393s matchups and if you're playing the
7394s mirror comp it really comes down to
7397s capitalizing on mistakes and that means
7398s if you want to do that you'll need to
7400s play Borderline perfectly
7402s that's something that I think Washington
7405s Timeless that last series they did end
7407s up winning but I don't think that those
7409s were the best maps that I've seen them
7411s play this tournament to be totally
7412s honest with you some of those Maps were
7414s played against the Valiant Guardians and
7416s those four maps that just occurred serve
7419s as a warm-up for this series they are
7421s being put at n's limit here to have the
7423s mental capacity and rather almost sanity
7426s to a point to continue to put out this
7428s high level of competitive play which
7430s easy easily more said than done and you
7434s just can't acknowledge that enough and
7436s the the way that Timeless have all of
7439s this laid out in front of them where
7440s they have they're easily The Underdogs
7442s coming into the series right and Valiant
7443s Guardians they're the team to beat they
7446s have been this entire time and no matter
7448s how many times we touch on it Timeless
7449s they hear it they know that we say it
7451s and it's just more fuel to the fire that
7454s they want to prove everybody wrong that
7456s they can be that team to take down the
7457s Titans
7458s I mean despite the stumbles that we saw
7460s in the series before this coming out
7462s from Timeless they definitely cleaned up
7464s and demonstrated that they are hungry
7466s for this opportunity to go against the
7467s Valiant Guardians they have this
7468s opportunity now but the question all
7470s comes down to who is actually going to
7472s prove themselves in this moment and walk
7474s away with that first place position or
7475s the second place end of the day getting
7477s first or second no shame whatsoever but
7481s everyone has that instance of you know
7482s the silver medal syndrome of I didn't
7484s get first therefore I was not successful
7487s at the end of the day hopefully they
7488s recognize regardless of the outcome
7490s being in this spot in this position
7493s alone demonstrates the skill and prowess
7496s and respect that all these players
7498s deserve and hopefully they play Not only
7500s to be successful but they play to have
7501s fun and walk away knowing that they
7503s tried their best by the time this entire
7505s series wraps up
7506s the bar of competition it's way up here
7508s it's probably way up there but I'm short
7510s I can't reach it quite yet and these
7512s players they can't they're able to play
7515s to that they stretch themselves two new
7517s heights just to try to match what their
7519s opponent is doing and you know this
7521s really is going to be a test for
7522s Washington Timeless as well control has
7524s been their weak point so far uh in any
7527s game that we've seen them and of course
7529s that's where we end up starting it's not
7530s their Mac pick and it's not Elias so
7533s maybe maybe they have a chance coming
7536s into this one and it does kind of leave
7538s me optimistic seeing sniper uh being on
7541s that starting roster card makes me think
7543s that if you have this extra level of
7545s columns coming in I think that they can
7548s be able to pull this one up the one
7549s thing that sniper sacrifices compared to
7550s Saul Hill is Saul Hill is just
7553s straightforwards walked in there's no
7556s turning back and either that plays out
7558s super well for the team or it leaves
7560s everybody else in the dust and they just
7563s get walked on so there's very there's
7565s two very contrasting styles that we end
7567s up uh seeing just in terms of those tank
7569s plays which I actually do confirm Saul
7571s Hill will be in for the map of Oasis
7574s which I really I need to keep an eye on
7576s what they are doing and how they're
7578s playing the tank ideally that junker
7579s Queen in terms of the positioning
7582s hopefully Sawhill is still warm because
7585s we did see Sawhill during the previous
7587s series on control and then was subbed
7588s out and you mentioned it Sawhill is a
7591s very much so I am your front line and I
7594s am giving you the space you need
7597s undeterred by anything thrown at the JQ
7602s it's crazy it's scary it also gives
7604s supports heart attacks but we'll have to
7606s see how well this works out as we drop
7609s down those spawn doors
7611s I mean hey thankfully for Saul Hill
7613s control is a map type where you can just
7615s go hey I'm gonna make space team you can
7618s take it or you can leave it I'm gonna
7620s take space and especially on control you
7622s look at this mega pack by the bounce pad
7624s on City Center
7626s this is where you need to take the space
7628s you need to have control of that Health
7629s area ideally control of that High Ground
7631s which is timeless they cannot get up to
7633s they're getting beaten back just a
7635s little bit but Sawhill that's what I'm
7637s seeing the over extension doesn't have
7638s the proper support because each key is
7640s just slicing and dicing starts it off
7641s with a quad kid they give them the ace
7645s let's go ahead and see come on give it
7647s to her no moving fish that's just mean
7650s that was a little bit mean
7654s it's just like in valorant you know it's
7656s like who stole my Ace you laugh it off
7658s you keep going you respects though I
7661s cannot believe again you got that much
7662s value first fight but also on Genji
7664s picked up too which wasn't enough
7666s because we engaged here just fight
7667s number two already on point Valiant
7669s Guardian backed up gave up an immense
7671s amount of space over to Washington
7672s timeless and they're okay with that
7675s they're waiting for those cooldowns to
7676s be expended so that they can take the
7677s more favorable fight at the end there it
7679s is commanding shout on Ford's moving
7681s fish sees that little window of
7683s vulnerability doesn't get the
7685s capitalization off it though the one
7686s thing that balance Guardians have here
7688s is that Superior ultimate economy we
7690s look at moving fish it's significantly
7692s ahead of where saw Hill currently stands
7694s in terms of that Rampage along with
7696s other areas the longer this goes the
7698s better it is for the Guardians and they
7700s want to close it out quickly and they're
7701s gonna have to especially not having a
7703s tank to be in front beating you in and
7706s oh that really gets all Hill an
7708s ultimatum of whether they want to push
7710s into that consuming Retros they ended up
7711s not doing so more percentage going the
7713s way of valiant Gardens is enough time
7715s for their tank to get back Timeless took
7717s too long but shutting down the bravicum
7718s blades gets them those precious seconds
7720s just back it's an expensive battle on
7723s both sides and arguably Valiant
7725s Guardians here they've managed to
7727s regroup and they can still poke and
7728s fraud from the ins and outs of this
7731s objective and CeCe saw Hill getting
7732s vulnerable has to back away and 70 work
7735s nearing that final fight territory and
7737s Timeless for yet to make a decision it
7739s has to be now in order to do it but the
7741s Rampage created back and forth to the
7744s sound barriers out at stall Hill with
7746s the later one doesn't get much yes it
7748s does finals took so long to win that
7751s fight Valiant Guardian is able to get it
7752s to a one battle territory to turn it
7755s around
7757s the thing about both of these
7759s compositions is yeah well Genji is the
7762s squishiest just because of the way
7764s gendu's kit works the name of the game
7767s is the opportunity to sustain and play
7770s for the long fight and you just saw that
7772s like oh yeah losing your front line most
7774s teams are like we gotta back off however
7776s Valiant said no we're not backing off I
7779s am going to equalize using an old they
7781s did that then they pulled out another
7783s way
7784s unfortunately by HP and HP is then going
7787s to go in and pick up two more on top of
7789s that with the assist removing division
7791s but
7792s the sustain that these comps allow for
7794s means you need to punish the bad
7797s positioning very quickly and
7798s unfortunately saw Hill it's gonna have
7800s to swap over to the doomfist to even
7801s have a glimmer of hope to get onto this
7803s point and set this side we're watching
7805s Timeless up for success I mean how much
7807s hope do you have winning a half Accent
7810s on The High Ground hkr the point it was
7812s just killing everything Washington
7814s Timeless are falling one by one to
7817s hkey's hit list that they have on the
7819s schedule I mean she is carrying this
7821s Viper the Valiant Gardens and that is
7823s saying something with the amount of
7825s Talent on that roster Washington
7826s Timeless did not stand a chance with how
7829s good hkey looked on City Center
7833s I mean when a Genji out the gate in
7836s neutral fight
7837s we're we're going to ignore moving fish
7839s stealing the last kill and say that H
7841s key got it getting a 5K
7844s you know something needs to change
7846s adjustments need to be made and
7848s unfortunately the adjustments came too
7850s late the mirror match up if the Genji is
7852s that oppressive you have to make it you
7855s have to change things around that fact
7857s and unfortunately the way it worked out
7860s was there was a old disparity you even
7862s pointed out the JQ old disparity of over
7864s 30 percent that Rampage opens up the
7867s doorway for so much sustainability and
7870s just absolute demolishing and
7872s steamrolling of the enemy team when they
7873s get anti
7875s this could be a recurring thing too I
7877s mean you need to have the speed that
7878s initiated power and Valiant Guardians
7881s the HP is just starting up to a lesson
7885s right now and look where she's
7886s positioned right now she has no fear she
7888s knows that Timeless have been unable to
7890s counter her so far so she gets
7892s aggressive she gets her tank in a spot
7894s to capitalize on it Timeless they
7897s ignores dazzler though and that is a big
7899s big mistake which they are certainly
7901s paying for right now and salsar as we
7903s saw from our last series has just the
7905s ability to go Burr on the soldier
7908s picking up a triple kill this is a
7909s comeback from timeless
7911s fabulous adjustment made by Timeless was
7913s to stop looking at the front line stop
7916s allowing this JQ to give value simply by
7918s pulling our attention let's look at the
7920s Squishies engage a little bit slower
7922s Force cooldowns then go out for them
7923s they manage to get hkey X10 right away
7926s and then followed up on Halo now they
7928s have Valiant Guardians on the back Point
7931s split because they gave up so much space
7933s if they gave up the space and like you
7935s let X10 have that angle and you cannot
7938s let X10 have that angle Washington
7940s Timeless I don't really know what else
7942s to tell you other than that if you give
7943s Valiant Guardians any room to work
7945s they're gonna make you pay for it
7947s it's uh If You Give a Mouse a Cookie
7949s button OverWatch so to speak
7951s you get greedy it's playing to the
7954s advantage if you're going to serve up to
7956s a team the space without a plan to make
7958s a trap you're gonna get punished that's
7961s what we see happening
7963s all cooldowns trying to force moving
7966s fish on the back foot and it does not
7968s work out however DPS come in make using
7972s that space
7973s I love that play that we just saw the
7975s Valiant Guardians were split they sent
7977s snozzler and Bun off to The High Ground
7979s to deal with the DPS left stall Hill on
7982s the low ground to deal with the tank and
7983s that's what Focus caused the DPS players
7985s their lives and they got the point as a
7987s result
7989s going into this next flight both
7991s Rampages were are online DPS holds a
7995s little bit favoring side of watching
7997s Timeless depending on how long this
7998s engage takes what's really going to be
8000s the deciding factor I believe is going
8002s to be the portal engaging and the
8004s counter Kitsune Rush on both sides we
8007s are equal who is going to pay the extra
8009s mile to come out on top of this fight it
8011s looks right now like it's snozzler with
8012s that overclock so far certainly invested
8015s the extra mile in Washington titles they
8016s sell plenty of tools in the bank to work
8018s with and like you mentioned these sound
8019s barriers are gonna be the deciding
8021s factor here do you use it to counter
8022s that dragon blade or to use it to help
8024s with the Rampage and it's a big decision
8026s to make for both the baller and Kayla
8028s it's gonna be the one to divide this
8030s battle but if the ballers
8033s Guardians have an advantage here to be
8036s able to close it out but Washington
8037s Timeless still are finding those
8039s eliminations and they gotta be able to
8041s turn it around because this is getting
8043s closer and closer to that final play
8045s especially with how these players are
8046s recruiting button once these lights bad
8049s to go their way but all the good Ops
8051s most out no value to be gained from such
8054s a large ultimate and it enforces the
8056s rest of Timeless to continue to throw
8058s everything they have into this battle
8060s and it is totally worth it here in the
8062s end they're buying the time of nearing
8064s that 99 to completion Valiant Guardians
8068s they're struggling to get back onto that
8070s objective get some firm progress while
8072s they get the flip titles aren't far
8073s behind
8075s during that last fight we saw the Mahler
8077s go down but so much was given by Valiant
8081s for that elimination that both DPS from
8083s the side of Valley Gardens just fell but
8085s the Mahler again now inside the hookah
8088s followed up by bun moving fish is just
8091s going through an eviscerating everyone
8093s falling like dominoes
8096s this is a brutal right now I've been
8098s moving fish is just controlling the
8100s entire tempo of the game I mean saw Hill
8103s for the first time is forced to back up
8105s which is completely New Concept to them
8109s backed up resetting Washington Timeless
8112s coming into this next fight they'll have
8113s overclock and Kitsune Rush the side of
8115s valiant Guardians we'll also have
8117s Kitsune Raj but the closest Old add to
8119s that is going to be beat or blade and
8122s right now with time was instigating what
8124s this could see any Rush down into hookah
8126s they're putting themselves at the
8127s advantage oh they're gonna get them up
8132s all the dominant front the soldiered
8135s player on the side of Timeless gets too
8136s aggressive in the end but the damage was
8138s certainly dealt and felt the Valiant
8140s Guardians need a rally behind moving
8142s fish to make something happen but the
8143s supports are being pulled out from under
8145s that bun finding their Rhythm finally at
8148s the tail end of a garden to the
8150s Washington titles to tie it up
8152s hopefully I think saw Hill right now the
8156s very forward heavy play style is working
8158s out it's attempting to be punished but
8161s it's allowing the DPS for Washington
8163s Timeless to then use the lack of focus
8165s on them to eliminate the Valiant
8167s Guardians DPS and similar to how we had
8170s map one but this time it was moving fish
8172s horse on doomfist trying to make contact
8173s with the point unsuccessful we're tied
8176s one aside it all comes down to city
8178s center well apologies to University
8181s hey all good A lot of these there's a
8183s lot of beige going on here so I I
8185s totally get it beige is a color that
8187s tends to blend and university is a map
8190s that tends to lean towards a brawl and
8192s this is where I the one time that I am
8196s okay with running the Reinhardt is here
8199s this is the only time that I am okay
8201s with it
8202s but the remote is something new if this
8206s actually ends up being sick but knowing
8208s moving fish this is one of their
8209s stronger Heroes but just not one we've
8210s seen yet on cast
8213s I enjoy some romantra gameplay
8215s Annihilation when facilitated with the
8217s Lucio can be absolutely deadly
8220s the issue comes into play with the fact
8223s that we got mirror Bastion so yeah
8224s ramatra has to play very safely using
8227s that Nemesis horror
8233s Ora Mantra has to play safely and you
8236s can say the same thing for Saul Hill I
8237s mean they didn't even get a chance to
8239s put the shield down in that fight just
8241s with the Relentless boom boom of the
8243s pummels that moving fish was chucking in
8245s and this is Valiant Guardians they're
8246s going to get that first percentage
8249s the the Difference Maker as you meant
8251s you brought it up I can't put my shield
8253s down romantra you're in nem form you put
8256s a block you come back out of it you give
8258s a couple of punches put block back up
8260s you live for so long with a Baptiste and
8263s that is exactly what the Valiant
8264s Guardians were playing for and then just
8266s letting H key get full being charged and
8268s go delete people but unfortunately a
8270s little overzealous during this engage
8271s yep you just don't walk into the same
8274s room as a giant German man with the
8277s hammer people I don't really know what
8278s to tell you HP thought they could handle
8280s it but I'm sorry symmetra just gets some
8282s Max down into a pulpin and against
8285s Washington Timeless the space to work
8286s with and they still have players that
8288s they're fighting they have to be able to
8289s close it out and they don't have a tank
8290s right now either
8293s they are going to be forced back we got
8295s snazzler using the aerial strike to try
8297s and force out some early cooldowns no
8299s way that gets Halo what that
8304s that's unfortunate now it looks like
8307s Washington time was just trying to just
8308s push forward to force out cooldowns and
8310s then disengage and meet back up with
8312s their Lucio we'll see if it works out
8313s they have done enough to force back the
8316s value of Guardians for a moment because
8317s moving fish was sub 50 health
8320s yeah
8322s I have a love opportunity to work with
8323s and but
8326s oh one time saw Hill's gonna be favorite
8327s here especially that Earth shatter
8329s online zoned out a little bit because of
8331s the romantra ultimate and ends up losing
8333s their life for it to sustain you have
8334s under a mantra is just so much better
8336s than what you get from the good old
8338s German Crusader and Timeless are being
8340s exploited for that exact pack that's the
8342s reason that they're able that they're
8343s losing these fights
8349s and we are posted up tied roughly as far
8351s as percentage points go Valiant
8353s Guardians catching up will surpass the
8356s side of Washington was by the time this
8357s engage starts we have Amore coming up

8414s decisive move they want to take the
8415s fight in a small room but the ant Matrix
8416s denying that space and they can't peek
8419s in front of HK and X that does some
8420s faming through that window we wanted to
8423s see it from Aura Mori and she has
8425s delivered that so far and this this is
8428s beautiful from evaluate Guardians right
8430s now
8431s funny enough you know and I mentioned
8433s don't go on a tiny room with a German
8435s man German man gave up the tiny room and
8437s then tried to go in and closing that
8439s Distance by yourself as a Reinhardt you
8441s get turned into swish cheese by a
8443s Bastion that's exactly you either gotta
8445s lock it down and stay there and tell
8447s your team to cover the point or you got
8448s to be with your team and out rotate the
8450s enemy and it looks like HQ is going to
8451s play the game is this the first engage I
8454s think it is yeah no no no no no no no no
8457s no no no okay HP had so many moments
8460s during especially City Center though
8463s where they had just simply popped off I
8465s mean I guarantee you when we head into
8467s the replays of this map it's gonna be an
8469s H key highlight reel is what we're about
8470s to watch
8471s yeah hkey can just you know clip the
8473s broadcast and put that on Twitter well

8480s this this is my highlight reel but with
8481s that being said
8483s this is this doesn't seem like it's
8485s something that's un like unfamiliar for
8487s Washington Timeless I mean yeah Oasis
8489s well we're gonna Mulligan that a little
8491s bit but their success has not strongly
8493s been on control it has been with the
8496s ability ability to force new Bonnie as
8498s the second map now the question is are
8501s they going to be able to you know keep
8503s the success that they've had on new body
8505s going forward where you can take a look
8507s at some more of these highlights coming
8509s out from this last series and as Tiny
8511s mentioned a lot of it's probably going
8513s to be hkey we've got some from snozzler
8515s popping off on the sojourn as well as
8517s some from moving fish on that JQ and you
8520s can see this the kill feed it's not just
8521s a one-person show it's a team effort
8524s it's a team-based game at the end of the
8525s day so even if you are so to speak the
8528s nvp of the broadcast you still need to
8530s be sure that your teammates are finding
8532s as much value as possible
8534s I think that's something interesting
8536s we've seen about the fights that have
8538s taken place so far is it's usually
8541s one-sided like whoever gets that first
8542s elimination typically closes out the
8545s fight and that's something it's clean
8548s that's essentially what it comes down to
8549s is that the players they're able to just
8552s recognize all right we have an advantage
8553s we need to rush in we need to close it
8554s out now before they can react and that
8556s is the level of competition that they're
8557s playing on these fights aren't getting
8559s as Scrappy down and dirty as we've seen
8561s in some of our previous matches I mean
8562s these are the top two teams they're in
8564s the grand finals for a reason whether
8566s it's because uh the hkey over here or
8569s just some other crazy pop-off moments
8571s that we've seen I mean these are the top
8573s two squads and it's really going to take
8576s a lot of effort from Washington Timeless
8578s right now to continue this combat and
8580s thankfully their favorite map is just
8582s ahead of us
8584s let's hope it remains their favorite map
8587s because we've seen true Valiant
8589s Guardians very successful as well on
8592s numbani and truth be told as this this
8596s entire map progressed when we got off of
8599s the first control into the second and
8601s third things started to equalize a heck
8603s of a lot more there was recognition of
8605s patterns recognition of favored
8606s positions and playstyles coming out from
8608s both teams and they were starting to
8610s capitalize on that we saw a lot more
8613s just demolishing of DPS before support
8617s started falling coming out from both
8619s sides just taking angles and being
8621s confident in what they were doing but
8623s that elimination on that Reinhardt was a
8625s little painful to witness from X-Men on
8627s the saw Hill
8628s just the name of the game you're the
8630s last way you're standing it was time for
8631s you to go back to spawn with the rest of
8632s your team and just it's regrouping in
8634s the fastest way possible the pain of a
8636s tank player I feel ya I feel you out
8639s there and you know we've seen quite a
8642s decent amount of variety in terms of the
8644s tank but the JQ has been the
8646s long-standing favorite I mean erisa
8648s still very relevant at this stage but
8651s the junker Queen is just favorite I mean
8652s you'll look how good sniper and Sawhill
8654s are on her especially and can't forget
8657s moving fish in this equation either so
8658s you look at the map ahead we know what
8661s it's going to be I don't even have to
8663s tell you at this point if you've
8664s listened to even a minute of this
8665s broadcast so far you know you have the
8669s map pick in your favorite Timeless you
8670s know what you're gonna do you know where
8671s you're gonna go and we're gonna get
8673s sniper back into the equation which I
8675s don't I do think is going to affect the
8678s outcome what we're actually going to
8679s gain in terms of Washington timeless's
8681s performance
8683s I mean sniper was a very oppressive
8687s force on defense and offense I mean
8689s defense they did lose the objective but
8692s they immediately rallied claimed the
8694s core the first corner and the payload
8696s did not move on attack there was no Esky
8700s it was though it was as those yoinked
8702s out of their keyboards and they were
8703s just hitting W pressing the advantage
8706s constantly finding those stagger
8708s eliminations to just keep that fight
8709s going further and further back to the
8712s last spawn and I mean the Lucio player
8715s of course you're not there because your
8717s job is to be your resident Shopper
8718s chilling out on the cart we're watching
8721s a fight happening at the end of the
8722s tunnel towards third point and the
8724s objectives capped because Lucy was just
8726s chilling out there
8728s you know what that that's just a trap
8730s you just need to be the payload princess
8731s sometimes which in the case that is your
8734s sports role and as fun as that seep just
8737s to sit there and watch your team do
8739s everything it is a very important job
8740s when it all gets set and done
8744s oh we'll be watching to Timeless on the

8838s while you have a little bit of healing
8840s that bionic slows them down a lot that
8843s is gonna be a big issue for Timeless
8844s right now
8850s left out high and dry had to pick
8853s favorites at the end it was aramore but
8855s no tank Timeless this is their window
8857s okay but doomfist gets back grotesquely
8860s fast in the terms of things it's like
8862s you got Wrecking Ball and doomfist the
8864s people that you get eliminated it's like
8866s okay I took cooldowns that's how you do
8868s it but we have bun going down and that's
8870s gonna be a little bit of a journey to
8871s make it back to the point
8872s this is interesting from Timeless
8874s because you can seriously see that
8876s they're thinking about where they want
8878s to go next and they're doing it so
8880s slowly that the players and Valiant
8881s Guardians can easily regroup and you
8885s don't have a safe diving Target I mean
8886s argently you're hunting for this Anna or
8888s Amore has a Target on her back but if
8890s you lose some sniper off the edge I mean
8893s what do you do it's been two minutes at
8895s Washington Timeless don't have much to
8897s show from it
8898s no and the one thing that I I'm
8901s questioning
8902s is Armory oh okay I get it you're saving
8906s grace is either a pedal or Halo with the
8908s grip but that comes at the cost of
8911s possibly losing moving fish because
8912s moving fish needs to rely on the grip
8914s sometimes too but ARA Mori spent that
8916s almost that entire fight in mid on the
8918s low ground unpunished
8920s well they're about to be punished hard
8922s because that nanoblade has a name on it
8925s but it's actually for the diva that
8927s snipers recently picked up and able to
8929s save a selfish life script that we're
8930s seeing what is the Baptista Riot where
8932s what message you manage to get yourself
8933s into thankfully you got sniper to pull
8936s it out I know we've been bashing the
8937s diva so far but sniper also just picked
8939s up three eliminations all by themselves
8942s which is not something that you want to
8944s ignore at all that doesn't mean Valiant
8947s Gardens aren't out of this yet X10 is
8949s still alive has a bob Justice all the
8950s point out and
8952s what more can you ask from this player
8955s we've been talking so much about hkey
8956s that X10 has gone under the radar and
8960s what should have been a winning fight
8961s for Timeless they gotta go back to swan
8965s and we have a snozzler again using the
8968s bastional forcing people out of position
8970s bun looking to TP bum looks like the TP
8973s got demolished a little too quickly lots
8975s of focus fire came forward and we
8977s mentioned yes I've we hiked on a little
8979s bit the diva play sniper did get it yeah
8982s okay but the issue is to sustain sniper
8984s had to get out before losing Toki they
8986s lost the fight now they're trying to do
8987s it again and Toki is gone hey toky's
8990s gone I mean the time blocks are on the
8991s point before they're not gonna give him
8993s a tick that's not how this works they
8994s don't give anything out for free they'll
8996s give you a good old tree though to go
8998s ahead and hang around which will
9000s certainly get in the way and bellyard
9001s they have so much sustain even if they
9003s end up getting off the point for just
9005s like that tiny millisecond and Pat lose
9008s that tick Timeless or nowhere near
9010s coming away with this fight so far
9011s bushing fish just denies that High
9013s Ground to them they're split they're
9015s bleeding they are hurting right now
9017s nerdy burden with eight seconds it's
9019s been such a mess for them trying to make
9021s this push that it's now or never and
9023s Halo finds themselves in a very tricky
9025s situation and with the life we were out
9027s of the way maybe Timeless have some room
9029s to work with but it has to happen now
9031s moving fish returning on the Doom is
9033s very close to that meteor strike a good
9035s tool to reset but oh they're not gonna
9037s be able to get it in time Washington
9038s Timeless was a mess of an attacking team
9042s but in the end they withstand all of
9044s that chaos to get some payload progress
9048s so Washington Timeless was attempting
9051s and successfully did it finally to
9054s basically flip the map objective they
9057s forced the side of the valley Guardians
9058s onto the low ground and they were able
9060s to get on The High Ground it's just they
9061s struggled a lot because moving fish is
9063s very comfortable on the doomfist knows
9066s the the tech the doomfist parkour got up
9068s on that high ground and punished them
9069s multiple times and the difference yes it
9072s took forever it was painful at times but
9074s having the diva the movability the Boop
9076s ability that comes with having the mech
9079s out is very it can be very strong now
9082s the question is though they've burned so
9084s many olds and they make it down this
9086s alleyway
9087s oh but two HP HK still manages to grab
9089s both supports which is Big especially
9091s considering all the pressure that was
9093s down on them so Valiant Guardians they
9095s get the hold here on this corner at
9097s least for now and this is gonna be a
9099s great spot for them just to hang out
9101s shipping this damage and use the tools
9103s that they have at their disposal
9107s similar situation but now Washington
9109s Timeless is on the receiving end of what
9111s they are what they managed to do during
9113s the last series
9114s the issue here though is that it's not a
9117s borderline mirror composition it's not a
9119s funny comp into a very comfortable comp
9120s this is a very movement heavy
9123s composition coming out from Valiant
9124s Guardians and honestly Timeless needs to
9126s be looking for this Anna finding on us
9130s you you seriously you need to be finding
9132s Aura Mori here I mean she's just sitting
9134s pretty up on this High ground but the
9135s photon barrier denies those Los sight
9138s lines that you really need to keep your
9140s team alive and Halo struggling to do the
9142s job just to keep the supports off and
9145s grab that extra support you need to get
9146s suicide to take these two players down
9148s because they are the bat darn good
9150s Washington Timeless have completely
9152s swapped up their comp since the
9153s beginning and it has worked so far this
9156s is the comp that we haven't seen from
9158s them but it's a look that I certainly
9160s enjoy
9161s it is a very explosive composition the
9164s dive heavy cop relies on target Focus
9166s getting in getting out quickly you have
9168s a gas tank and when you use those things
9171s oh I'm sorry X10 when you use those
9173s cooldowns to get in you have to find
9175s those eliminations fast or you're gonna
9177s run out of fuel and now Washington Times
9179s it took a little bit of time but they
9180s figured it out everyone bun swapping
9181s over to this from Sombra to the torbjorn
9184s which I get but it makes bonus Sitting
9187s Duck however moving fish went to Sigma
9189s so it could that means buns gonna have
9192s more survivability
9193s it does help bun a decent amount here
9196s but Valiant Guardians they have the
9198s opportunity to make soft and the
9199s ultimates to back it up halo is nasty on
9202s this yachty and especially when that
9204s stun strikes ability comes out it hits
9207s so many different players but ideally
9208s you need to get sniper out of the match
9210s before you can pop it out and just being
9212s cautious sniper knows where they are but
9214s still manages to get the eliminations as
9216s a process aloe needs to strike here and
9218s now look how low that they're just
9220s tugging the players oh Halo comes up big
9223s is the hero for the Valiant Guardians
9225s win they need it the most
9228s Valiant is not unfamiliar with this
9231s situation we've seen we saw something
9234s very similar from Valiant Guardians day
9236s one actually all right moving space it
9238s was like yeah
9239s yeah it's a little bit too long on the
9241s funny character goes back over to Sigma
9243s is this is almost an identical situation
9247s with how close that payload is however
9249s they only have to hold for a minute not
9251s three and a half minutes like last time
9253s but we have sniper now going over to the
9255s JQ this is the composition we've seen
9258s Timeless be very successful on
9263s I simply cannot and that is a blow
9266s that's difficult to come back from even
9267s with this consuming rush you need to be
9269s running over moving fish denying any
9271s space that they had previously but the
9273s Poke damage too much for Sniper to be
9275s able to handle and titles they can't get
9278s themselves over the line in those final
9280s seconds but I think the back they
9281s managed to get as far as they did is
9283s enough accomplishment on their own and
9285s sets the win condition at a decent
9287s margin
9289s I mean typically the pay look like
9292s halfway in that circular will cross that
9294s Circle so to speak not all the way at
9296s the objective but the model is nearly
9298s there you count as being the third
9300s checkpoint even though the game won't
9301s award it this time they're a little bit
9303s too short for me to say they might might
9306s as well have to say they have to Cap all
9307s three points to be successful Valiant
9309s Guardians are notorious for stopping the
9311s payload in this general area giving the
9314s the false hope so to speak playing with
9316s their food a little bit now the question
9318s is on defense what is Washington
9319s Timeless going to be planning here
9321s there's so much Dynamic that Valiant
9323s Guardians have the flexibility the depth
9326s of their hero pools is what's really
9327s making this a struggle for the side of
9329s Washington Times to deal with just
9331s because of the comfort that they have on
9333s so many different compositions
9336s that's kind of the thing that we've been
9338s seeing is the level of flexibility from
9340s both of these teams we haven't seen much
9341s of it from Timeless to be totally honest
9343s they've loved this junker Queen so far
9345s and they can go over the diva it was
9347s something fresh it was something new but
9348s Valiant Guardians and it's like all
9350s right if you can be flexible let's just
9351s go ahead pull this out of our back
9353s pockets to get an Ace card and they've
9354s been holding on this Sigma and that is
9357s probably moving fish if they're known
9358s for a hero it is the sigma right here
9360s and for a very very good reason on a lot
9363s of these Maps I don't know about it on
9365s the attack here especially when you're
9367s walking into a full-on Roll Pop but
9370s either way Washington Timeless this is
9371s their bread and butter this is where
9373s they've won this map every single time
9375s and they need to show they can do it
9377s again
9379s and then for the side of valiant
9381s Guardians I'm just I'm watching Halo
9382s because Halo has been a menace on the
9385s Yari more than once and I feel like just
9388s this map Hilo has struggled a little bit
9390s to have those opportunities to be as
9392s successful as we've seen in the past but
9394s taking an off angle with Genji here
9396s hinging off the front line to claim
9398s space snazzler sent back to spawn early
9402s that should not have happened as simple
9404s as it went the bile data was out aramore
9406s got the damage dealt and I mean the rest
9408s of the team just walks in I doubted the
9410s sigma and I will never doubt it again
9412s but we need to give aramori and hkey the
9414s credit that they deserve for opening
9416s that door basically shoving themselves
9418s through that little crack to get this
9419s first point captured in record time
9422s the pinch was well executed and I
9425s believe part of that was just
9427s communication of knowing where the enemy
9428s team was positioned and saying hey
9430s they're not all here let's pinch them
9431s off and force them into us after that
9433s they cleaned it up very quickly now we
9434s got H key possibly looking for a quick
9436s kill here on this Lucio see if the
9439s Maller manages to make it out alive
9440s looks like Mahler will live
9442s vulnerable live for the time being but
9444s HK is in a lot of trouble especially
9447s with sniper going over to that sit by
9449s that's half the reason that she put
9450s sniper in on this map is because of
9452s their flexibility onto the off tanks
9454s because they want a very valid pick
9455s especially when you'll be able to pull
9457s out this mirror match especially almost
9458s a complete and total mirror without the
9460s support lines being put into
9461s consideration and I arguably like
9463s Valiant Guardians more just because of
9465s those wild days there's not an answer
9467s for it it forces of mortality fuel but
9468s look how low they are it gets so much
9471s done Rebellion Guardians they now have
9473s the hike on the ant Matrix is forced out
9475s and catches moving fish on the wrong
9477s side of it so despite everything that
9479s they've done they did the right thing to
9480s get to the spot that they are but
9482s Washington time was caught them
9483s completely off guard for Ryan's Matrix
9485s so the one thing that is the caveat of
9488s this composition is the Valiant
9489s Guardians nicely done bun is the fact
9493s that satin Aid when used aggressively
9495s versus used for sustain you got to think
9496s about uptime versus downtime is that
9498s Sigma can use shift might be able to eat
9500s it however if your team starts peppering
9502s damage and Sig needs to shift in the
9503s middle of it that's a lot of armor
9504s you're given to the sigma additionally
9505s Orion well Orion uses immortality okay
9509s you traded a nade for Amor but guess
9512s what Orion still has shift so your team
9514s can't engage with the anticipation of
9515s deleting someone who gets loved because
9517s of the ship ability
9524s chilling out there waiting for the
9527s chance to pull that one out and then
9528s there comes the boulder Edge is just
9530s moving fish down that was enjoyable that
9533s that was fun to watch thank you very
9535s much sniper moving pitch for giving us

9541s lack of a counter I mean yes you have

9560s beaten down and Bruce so they have to
9562s eventually just get close they need to
9564s brawl one-on-one which I'm saying that
9566s with a cyclical comp yes I am and it's
9568s finally gonna bite into space the fact
9569s that they didn't have to use any
9570s ultimate to do it nerdy bird is kind of
9572s crazy to me
9574s however Washington managed to burn off a
9577s significant amount of the time bank
9578s being on those High grounds surrounding
9580s the spawn point and using ultimates yeah
9583s this next one is not gonna go in their
9585s favor most likely I mean beating to be
9587s aggressive is not normally a Lucio play
9590s you see frequently in high level but in
9593s organized competitive play but bun might
9597s be able to use blade but HP goes in Nano
9600s blade is important than anything really
9602s right now
9603s everybody just pulled a full Banana
9606s Split right there nobody wanted to be
9608s near bud and the flux
9613s fluxes could not have gone any worse for
9614s the team as one is just on cleanup doing
9617s bringing out the broom to just say
9619s Valiant Guardians that didn't work out
9620s and I'm gonna make sure you remember it
9626s even with an old Advantage not having it
9629s not work out I mean nanoblade is such a
9631s win condition and I did touch on this
9634s previously last week day one with
9636s Valiant Guardians is relying on
9637s nanoblade as a win Condition it's a very
9639s obvious counter the counter is either
9642s you kill the Genji successfully or you
9644s have beat just in case and we did see a
9647s beat come out from the Mahler in that
9649s instance of Nano blade after it was on
9651s cooldown because HP struggled to find a
9653s target for a little bit of time however
9654s that's too old yeah and nothing was
9656s gained from it
9658s not at all and this is a great spot for
9660s Washington Thomas you gotta Ryan just
9662s vibing on The High Ground and Valiant
9664s Guardians they're not gonna push up
9665s you're gonna go ahead give the bus a
9666s little hug wait for that to expire and
9668s even after that air looking straight
9670s down the face in her graphic flex your
9672s nerdy bird and this is just an example
9674s of Washington Timeless having that
9676s discipline that level of execution that
9678s has not been matched so far in this
9680s series this is their map new Bonnie is
9682s owned by the Washington Squad and unless
9685s Halo has something to say about it here

9688s there is a huge ultimate coming through
9691s Halo popping off HK next 10 with the
9695s follow-up that is what they needed to
9696s turn the tides of the battle Valiant
9698s Gardens moving through to this third
9701s point and that win condition is seen in

9705s I asked for Halo to find an opportunity
9708s to have a pop-off moment and Halo
9710s delivered oh yeah beautiful ultimate

9786s now is the Valiant Guardians are meters
9788s away from getting that capture from
9790s going up 2-0 in this series Washington
9792s titles need to be engages blood with the
9794s ultimate but fun he used to help be able
9796s to pull this out successfully so much
9798s weight onto her shoulders to make it
9800s happen but Halo
9805s titles we're holding on to is go on
9808s sniper while the Ultimate Looks cool
9809s moving fish isn't able to be able to
9812s stay alive right now the staggers

9819s simply not enough to handle Valiant

9857s and it has been close and it does not go

9863s says I mean we went to three rounds on
9865s Oasis and we got down to pretty much
9867s overtime on map number two so map number
9870s three being that Flashpoint is a lot of
9874s pressure out of Washington Timeless this
9875s is where they were able to get into a
9877s good spot before right they were able to
9879s find their momentum Back start turning
9881s it around and really play off of sniper
9884s and specifically of their DPS players
9886s just popping off and taking that space
9889s when needed and we just didn't get to
9892s see that as much in this series they're
9893s being forced to swap off their favorite
9896s composition the one that they have been
9897s the best at and that alone is a blow to
9900s the mental not to mention being down 2-0
9902s in a final scenario I mean just think
9904s about the stress that they're under
9905s right now
9907s my advice in these situations is always
9910s do your best to just focus on the next
9912s fight ahead of you
9914s um keeping a calm and level head like
9916s yeah discussing minor things but not
9919s really focusing on everything that went
9920s wrong because it can become overwhelming
9922s these teams on both sides is but
9925s focusing on Washington Timeless they
9928s went they ran the gauntlet to make it
9930s back here and that just shows the amount
9932s of strength that they have as players
9933s and they should have the confidence to
9935s know that they can come up here to go
9938s toe-to-toe with Valiant Guardians focus
9940s on their next map understand make sure
9942s everyone's on the same page what is our
9944s goal here what is our play style how are
9946s we executing our win conditions here
9948s understanding how important that first
9950s fight is and they're the setting the
9952s goal of we are winning the first fight
9954s here as we move into Flashpoint and
9956s going from there taking it one step at a
9959s time eliminating that stress because at
9961s the end of the day your gameplay is
9962s what's going to make or break your team
9964s so you better come swinging
9966s and what can determine that gameplay is
9969s your ability to keep a level head in
9971s these situations our verse sweep is a
9973s lot to ask of anybody especially like
9975s look at Timeless they've had to play
9977s another match before this another four
9979s Maps prior and they're at the point of
9982s everything that they've just done going
9984s down to absolutely nothing you do not
9986s want to get swept in these white as
9988s Washington Timeless they have the
9989s potential to take Valiant Guardians down
9991s they're the one team who has managed to
9994s take those maps and that is saying
9996s something when you look at how strong
9997s that five player roster is Washington
10000s Timeless right now this is their chance
10002s to regroup they have the next next
10004s selection going into map number three
10006s and it is going to be their last of the
10008s series regardless if they end up coming
10010s out on top of it or not and it needs to
10012s count here
10013s well hopefully they're locked in and
10016s ready to go and my heart does go out to
10019s them because they've played a lot of
10020s maps at this point and anyone that's
10022s watching that says well you know I've
10024s played eight back-to-back games of
10025s competitive OverWatch it is a
10027s drastically different experience doing
10029s it in organized competitive play it's a
10031s lot more mentally draining and so right
10033s now they really have to dig down deep
10035s and pull up as much energy as they can
10037s help each other make sure they're all
10040s ready and engaged locked in for this
10042s next map I know flashpoint's new some
10045s people hate it some people love it it's
10047s definitely better than 2cp that's at
10049s least what I can say about that one so
10051s hopefully they're confident on this
10054s Flashpoint because they were actually
10056s the side of Washington Timeless was
10058s extremely successful on Flashpoint yeah
10059s I think they fumbled a little bit here
10061s and there but the one thing I will say
10063s is that when at least when we saw them
10064s earlier today we could easily pinpoint
10067s what sniper was looking for what sniper
10069s was wanting to do and I don't know if
10071s the Valiant Guardians are going to give
10073s those opportunities as quickly over to
10075s the side of Washington as we saw earlier
10077s are from the other team
10079s that's one thing that Washington Times
10081s like to do specifically on Flashpoint
10083s where
10084s um that we can see
10086s these specifically they wait for another
10089s one to make a mistake and let's be
10091s honest spelling accordions they're not
10092s gonna be one to make mistakes like other
10094s opponents that you faced in this
10095s competition it's something that's come
10097s back to bite them in the butt multiple
10099s times here that they wait so long to
10101s find an error on the other side it
10103s doesn't come and suddenly they're
10104s overwhelmed with all of just five
10106s players collapsing on top of them so the
10109s playstyle it does need to change a
10110s little bit I need to see more of this
10112s initiative taken you can't have these
10114s small moments of hesitation those are
10115s going to be the ones that can Define the
10118s difference between winning and losing an
10120s entire Championship right now everything
10122s rides on this map for Washington
10123s Timeless and as a valiant Gardens
10125s they're looking straight down the barrel
10127s of a complete sweep and an undefeated
10129s run through the Congo Heroes minor too
10133s and some increa incredible bragging
10135s rights across the board but of course
10137s like I said earlier no pressure
10139s Washington Timeless despite how much
10141s tiny and I are going to try and make you
10143s feel it because we pray that you are
10144s actually not watching the broadcast and
10146s instead are focused in with your team
10148s right now and you guys are ready to go
10150s this is game one map one there's no
10153s history you guys are just gonna play to
10154s your strengths and do the best that you
10156s possibly can because that's the best way
10157s to keep the anxiety at Bay and keep your
10159s head calm and collected because you are
10161s all incredible players from both sides

10166s you know at the end of the day

10174s it's really you got to pull out all the
10177s fumes you got left in this little bit of
10179s gas tank for new Jump City Pacific and
10181s this this map is a point where there's
10185s so many spots you can easily control the
10187s chokes I think that what stands out to
10189s New York City for me is that the places
10191s where the teams come in you're filtered
10193s through such a narrow Corridor that the
10196s people that are in control of the point
10198s have such an advantage when you're
10200s trying to get onto the attack so out
10202s between of course New York City and
10204s store obasa this is the one that if you
10206s get that first control you take the
10207s initiative you win that first fight
10210s then you're pretty set moving forward to
10212s at least get half of that objective
10214s captured before you have to come back
10216s and battle it out all over again here so
10218s new drug City Washington Timeless they
10221s want to take this map off of valiant

10252s with forcing the other team to make
10254s mistakes and then moving forward from
10256s there here I truly they need to pull
10260s their confidence back up to where it was
10261s at the beginning of the day and just
10263s know and trust each other to be able to
10265s survive click the right heads and focus
10269s on each individual fight focus on when
10271s do you see someone use a cooldown
10273s because of course Valiant Guardians
10274s they're not perfect they will never play
10277s Perfect now watch in Timeless they will
10279s never play perfect either everyone's
10280s going to make a mistake it's if you see
10282s it you call it and you capitalize on it
10284s because there were times during Bonnie
10286s that they were not capitalized on where
10288s Valiant was blatantly disregarding the

10317s Bulls team ahead on to the Joker Queen
10319s they're just trying to get out alive but
10321s sniper gets so aggressive here can they
10323s keep them alive just barely Valiant
10326s Guardians not off to a good start in
10327s this map and that is all because
10328s snozzler hit that first shot
10331s that opening elimination coming out from
10334s snazzler instead of receiving a kunai to
10338s the head for the first fight creative
10342s crafted very different story from
10343s Washington Timeless 1.1 you mentioned it
10345s earlier first first e-lims are extremely
10348s important and then sniper just becoming
10351s undeterred by lack of help using every
10353s cooldown exhausting all the gas to get
10355s in the front line split them up and
10357s allow their team to surround and Conquer
10359s perfectly executed but they need to do
10362s it again and that is where things start
10363s to get hard it's repeating Perfection
10365s multiple times
10366s and they do like I said family cards it
10369s is not easy to get to this point
10371s especially with that kitsu and I Rush
10372s blocking your only reasonable pass the
10374s fight has to go off to the point and
10375s force the player to overextend that's
10377s punching mistake right there H key
10379s taking that elimination to their name
10381s and showing that Waltzing both Timeless
10383s are a vulnerable and can't replicate
10385s this Perfection enough and they end up
10387s using a Sal barrier in this fight I am
10389s not a fan of that whatsoever especially
10391s with the blows those deadly ones that
10394s they've been dealt I mean you're gonna
10395s get to a decent amount of percentage
10397s here but inevitable
10400s it does I think that sound barrier was
10403s just enough yeah to help the rest of the
10404s Washington Timeless team make it out of
10406s the objective and reconvene with the
10408s other two bun and Orion that had been
10410s eliminated so while it's questionable I
10413s understand it but they are within Arm's
10415s Reach of closing out the subjective and
10417s they have the old Advantage going into
10419s this fight for a moment yeah just for a
10421s little bit though a lot of those are
10422s coming out now at HQ still on fire from
10426s map one two map two and now here in a
10428s map and number three this black point is
10430s no different in the eyes of this Flex
10431s DPS player I mean she's been so good for
10434s Valiant Guardians finding them way in
10437s there is a lot of players that will tell
10440s you and I typically agree with this
10441s there's a few exceptions to this rule
10443s that the play whichever team holds first
10445s is most likely going to win the fight
10446s and the exceptions to that I think are
10449s your support ultimate specifically
10451s supports like beat and Kitsune Rush
10454s responding with beat to a beat or
10456s responding with Kitsune rush to a
10458s Kitsune Rush tends to be more successful
10459s because that extra half a second one
10462s second that you get the ultimate on your
10465s team makes a huge difference because
10467s it's at the tail end of the fight
10470s okay but it has to be that reactive
10472s sound barrier here the initiation bun
10473s wanted to make that first blow but no
10475s it's X10 to support just Superior in
10478s terms of the utility available for the
10480s Valiant Guardian sitting at that 99
10482s wanted to take it back they do end up
10485s losing control of the objective here
10487s they only are down one player but the
10488s recovery selfie oh it only hits two but
10491s it's just enough for Washington Timeless
10492s to stay alive for a little bit longer
10494s hope that somebody can get back in time
10496s but those bonds are light years away
10498s right now Valiant Guardians have just so
10500s many more players circling around this
10502s Arena it's only fitting as they battle
10504s in the final piece of junk City to claim
10507s the first blow here on to new junk City
10511s now the question
10513s I have here is are they going to catch
10515s people in rotation or they're choosing
10517s to go straight to the point we did not
10519s see many fights happen during the point
10522s transition phases the last time we were
10524s on new junk City but some teams like to
10526s do it some teams prefer to just dedicate
10528s it to go straight to point and it looks
10530s like yes we are going to attempt a
10532s mid-rotation fight possibly find a quick
10534s elimination
10536s they're trying to scope it out but
10538s Valiant Guardians already worked their
10541s way over to the center of ducks which is
10542s again another one of those objectives
10544s that you're having to filter through
10546s these small areas you need to force your
10547s way out into Ryan's to rush just the
10550s thing to do that with Valiant Guardians
10551s they want a mirror but it's too little
10553s too late for moving fish the support was
10556s not present the damage has to come back
10558s on the other side million Guardian is
10559s looking for some sort of respawn and it
10561s is their DPS dealers to do just that H
10564s key coming up with another triple kill
10566s to go ahead get Bali into Guardians back
10568s in control
10569s and it was that responsive Kitsune rush
10572s to Orion's engage katsune Rush that
10575s ultimately led to that success yes you
10576s lost your front line it happened your
10578s tank you make space half the time you
10580s die making space however hkey then
10583s spending the Dragon Blade recognizing
10586s that that is how you get the
10587s equalization and using the katsune rush
10589s that lasts just a hair of a second
10591s longer to eliminate the side of
10593s Washington Justice well Washington
10595s Timeless was what was important there
10598s it's just that tiny bit of time that
10600s counts those moments of hesitation which
10602s Valiant Guardians they don't have many
10604s of they move in they use the Bob so
10606s early that Washington Timeless they're
10608s they're down they're hurting even if
10609s they have ultimates on the board here
10611s the opportunity to use them has not
10613s presented itself just yet and it gives
10615s them up so much time and space they have
10616s to engage and fear it is Nosler hitting

10628s committed on the side of valiant Gardens

11713s success for them on this map they
11715s already warmed up against another team

11719s it's the opportunity to do it all over

11723s there's been a lot of favoring on both

11727s going to make it a little bit of a slow
11729s start for both sides if that is what's

11733s explosive once we start getting out of
11736s that first Corridor out of the Coliseum

11742s advantageous with what you're doing

11879s the Valiant guardian's weaknesses are

11887s with these shots that just completely
11888s shut down the plan of the Valiant

11936s been playing that comment the fact that

12455s which we we really haven't gotten to see
12457s much at all throughout this whole
12459s tournament it leaves such a big question
12460s mark in terms of what wants to be run or
12462s even what this selection could be right

13052s to play I'm assuming more of this
13054s dive-esque style get moving fish on that

13059s diva or the sigma you simply do not run
13062s the Joker Queen on this map does not
13064s work in most situations you can try to
13067s force it but I don't want to see that
13069s for the most part and
13070s they're switching up the whole game

13074s seriously hurts my brain to think about
13076s I mean I'm here for it because yes while
13078s Gibby does present the you know people
13081s typically stand by globe on that L and
13083s onto the bridge on defense you hold
13086s there there are teams that will choose
13089s instead to do a payload hold and based
13092s off these comps we're not going to see
13093s it but it wait wait no okay all right
13097s there is an opportunity to swap up and
13100s force fights on the payload one thing
13102s I'm not seeing that I low-key
13104s anticipated but can still happen just
13107s based off DPS alone was to have a tracer
13111s pushing payload while the rest of tune
13113s goes for positioning and controlling
13115s High grounds in this instance we might
13117s see a Genji pushing and a Genji go-to
13119s challenge payload and both of them kind
13122s of in a stalemate until someone gives
13124s one one Genji either a touch of healing
13127s or gives one Genji a touch of damage

13135s what this is gonna be I mean between

13151s done it so far in this series and why
13153s would this one be any different
13155s already the trickiest part is getting
13157s the payload through this under bridge
13160s and kind of finding that spot where you
13162s want to hold down and Valley of
13163s Guardians they're relentlessly pushing
13165s this car eventually it's gonna Force
13166s titles his hands
13169s it is almost completely through that
13172s upper pass area and not a lot of time
13174s was spent challenging the payload push
13177s now we do have Valiant circling onto The
13180s High Ground they've given up the cart
13181s for a moment to get the positioning they
13184s need and force Washington Timeless bet
13186s to back off so they can continue to push
13188s this payload forward what's interesting
13190s is that we're running Orion with this
13193s Anna brigitta composition whereas Halo
13195s is on the Yari comp here and I'm I'm
13198s just curious are we going to facilitate
13200s Halo with that captive sun or is this
13203s the brigitta that acts as a you know an
13206s unmoving wall for their Anna gonna be
13208s more successful
13210s that's kind of the question here is
13211s Washington Timeless they're certainly
13213s playing a more defensive side on the as
13215s you should be on the defense but they're
13217s sacrificing a lot of space here which is
13220s challenging in this Nerf battle that you
13222s end up playing all the headshot is hit
13223s but not enough charge to follow through
13225s and moving fish going in doubt
13227s eventually that sticker comes off bun
13229s with the first two eliminations of the
13231s game and we're already halfway through
13233s this attack phase of Gibraltar
13235s we are also two-thirds of the way to
13238s that first objective which does add some
13241s time but at the two minute Mark roughly
13244s 45 seconds per fight you're looking at
13246s two and a half fights here for the side
13248s of the Guardian to come out on top and
13252s get this Lucky Block is already forced
13254s we're going to hear
13256s sites come out from X10 it's not not far
13259s behind but this becomes scary for
13261s squishies

13264s peek their head around but with that

13343s and decided to jump back down and when

13352s can they continue to do this they only
13353s got to hold on for 14 more seconds
13356s this whole little time right now but
13358s Timeless is the best shot they have but
13360s Dragon Blade and Orion just prepared to
13363s just give her that Nana boost hoping
13365s that she can once again be the hero for
13367s this team and value Guardians they don't
13369s have much to work with because it's all

13423s being so close it's very little room for
13427s error I mean yeah full holding is
13429s fabulous but if you can full hold one
13431s team that also means they can full hold
13433s you but now there's a win condition it
13436s didn't go all the way someone loses here
13438s after this after that timer hits zero
13443s oh like I'd watch Point Gibraltar if
13446s you're gonna get full held I feel like
13448s this is the map that you can get full
13450s held on and continue to hold I can't
13452s tell you I'm out at the watchpoint games
13453s that I've played and just speed as a
13456s Caster where this is the mark that is
13458s set yes it seems very short but it's
13460s also incredibly attainable the big
13462s difference here that I want to see from
13463s Washington Timeless though is that they
13465s actually take fights think about how a
13467s few engagements there actually were on
13469s Valiant attack they spent so much time
13471s sitting and waiting to regroup that they
13473s got staggered they got picked off and
13474s even when they took the fights they
13476s didn't have an ultimate advantage and it
13478s was a problem Washington titles they
13479s were in control of the tempo and I
13481s guarantee they're gonna keep that up
13483s here and once again Guardians they're
13485s going with this um on a composition and
13489s that does worry me because that Brigida
13491s able to provide protection for your Anna
13494s is extremely powerful sustaining your
13496s honor is so important in these fights
13498s because Greg Inspire is not enough but
13500s then also Halo Yari does not have a lot
13503s of range on the healing no
13506s not at all and I think that's gonna be
13508s the main difference here is the baller
13510s can support better at range but Halo has
13512s that additional level of damage
13514s essentially a third DPS on the field
13516s which I do want to mention Valiant guard
13519s is have a higher damage output xn is on
13520s the soldier instead of the Widowmaker
13523s right now which
13524s I really did not expect to see happening
13527s because you go the Widow to at least
13529s occupy Now snazzler isn't afraid of too
13532s much happening right now and they have
13534s these sight lines essentially for free
13535s and it's it's this is just where you
13538s want to be as a Widowmaker player
13539s Washington Timeless they're so focused
13541s on getting uh the sniper some room to
13544s work and you know they're gonna get the
13546s pale of moving along as the process this
13549s map continues to be that slow push
13551s forward speeding for somebody to make
13552s that error four for extender snozzler to

13799s heroes Victory this organization of
13801s Timeless one Majors one and two and
13805s finally get that first uh Taste of the
13807s minor Victory as well so this is an
13810s organization that has been wildly
13812s successful within the calling oh heroes
13814s team and one of the most dominant I mean
13815s we look at this Valiant Guardians on
13817s paper strong roster came in undefeated
13820s up until this point they haven't won
13823s that Championship yet they got second
13825s place in the previous minor event and
13827s here they are second once again taking
13829s that silver and that has just gotta hurt
13832s you start off so strong you get those
13834s two maps under your belt Just For It All
13836s To Fall to Pieces because Washington's
13838s Timeless know what they've been for they
13840s fought through that lower bracket to get
13842s themselves the Revenge run to this point
13844s after going down to this team two times
13846s they refuse to let it be a third
13849s and honestly I think relying on you know
13853s this classic combo this for Gita Anna a
13856s support Duo that is extremely strong has
13859s stood up a test of you know the various
13861s changes that OverWatch 2 has gone
13863s through relying on the classic so to
13865s speak was a key to success here for
13867s Washington Timeless because you know
13869s that those two have a grotesque amount
13871s of sustain they can keep each other
13873s alive they'll protect one another all
13875s that has to happen is you gotta come
13876s your back Line's going to get is getting
13878s dope you either trade or you heal around
13881s Health packs and come back strong and
13883s that's exactly what we'd see happen we'd
13884s see these supports get Dove one of the
13886s DPS or sniper would get the Nano and
13889s they would just immediately go charging
13891s into the enemy backline they said you go
13892s after my supports you're going to be
13893s ready for the trade
13895s you know what this honestly was is
13897s Valiant they decided that you know this
13900s trucker quick cop we've lost the last
13902s two maps on it we can't lose a third so
13904s we're gonna change the game we are gonna
13905s go to watch Point Gibraltar a map where
13908s you can get moving fish on the Comfort
13909s here world that Diva being just that a
13913s completely blew up in their faces for a
13917s dominant performance on the defense
13919s getting that full hold and at the very
13920s last second they're unable to stabilize
13924s just because Bunn had some of the
13926s strongest performances that we've seen
13928s from her this entire event she really
13930s showed up when it mattered most nerdy
13932s bird and I'm so glad that we were able
13934s to see that one today
13936s I am too it was absolutely incredible
13938s and as much as it does Sting to get
13940s second place I mean Valiant they did an
13943s incredible job they came in with a lot
13946s of pressure being undefeated and having
13947s to maintain that level of gameplay that
13951s level of you know just we cannot lose
13953s here no matter what whereas Washington
13955s Timeless they can look at that and had
13958s they come in second place but like we
13959s had to work our way all the way through
13961s the Redemption bracket to make it here
13962s and that was one heck of a task and
13964s being that far going that going that
13966s distance you can walk away happy so
13968s hopefully Guardians recognize the effort
13971s that they themselves put in as well as
13973s Timeless take it on take it on you know

13981s heck of a run and when you are first
13983s place let alone undefeated first place

14226s Swiss stage we had all of our top 18 and
14229s just now our finals wrapped up reverse
14232s sweep in favor of Washington titles you
14235s literally cannot get any more climatic
14237s than that and I want to hear it from the
14240s side of the players we have the Mahler
14242s the main support star of Washington
14245s Timeless here on the mic with us you
14248s just reverse swept the team that nobody
14250s has been able to beat all tournament I
14252s mean you need to tell me like what was
14254s the process what was going through the
14256s head if anything at this point
14258s uh there's there's a lot of emotions
14261s that go through your head as you're like
14262s trying to come back from a reverse sweep
14264s I think somebody and you know when you
14266s get to a time like this you have like 30
14267s people in your voice Channel and
14268s somebody said something about
14271s um you know reverse sweeping starts with
14272s a single bath and the entire voice
14273s channel was like Boo shut up we don't
14276s care
14277s um because we all we all kind of knew
14279s internally that like regardless of
14280s whatever corny speeches or whatever we
14282s could say there was a an internal
14284s motivation that had to change in
14286s everyone
14287s um and it was a very
14289s like strong and real feeling that felt
14292s very unspoken where we just started to
14295s have a lot of fun like if you looked at
14297s the way that we were playing on coliseo
14298s we were just having fun bun was giggling
14302s around and trying to hammer kill people
14303s on torb like we played better because we
14306s we no long we removed that pressure from
14309s ourselves and that felt really amazing
14313s hmm tiny that kind of sounds like the
14316s the mini soapbox moment I had before the
14318s map started for our final series you
14320s know it does strike a very similar time
14322s coming out here

14329s for context like I I said that like the
14332s biggest thing is making sure that you're
14334s enjoying yourself having fun and playing
14336s to you the best that you can in that
14338s moment

14342s how yeah we need to focus on our micro

14346s focus too much on the macro game we
14348s focus too much on trying to make big
14349s sweeping changes to how OverWatch is
14351s supposed to be played
14353s um and then we all had a moment where we
14354s thought oh we need to win our ones we
14356s need to not die and uh if we've lost a
14359s fight go for trades
14361s um and it worked pretty well the amount
14364s of times where we would be down to fight
14365s and I would look at the kill feed and
14367s Bun would have killed two people and
14368s started trades and it's like oh we could
14369s start next fight up two people it was
14371s amazing it was beautiful to watch
14373s so I really want to talk about this
14376s because it caught tiny off guard so
14380s heavily the coliseo map yes you
14382s mentioned you guys started having fun
14383s but you pulled out the battle cattle it
14386s made my day but this is the first time
14388s on broadcast that we got to see you guys
14390s run that war of attrition composition
14393s and I just want to know like had you
14394s guys been practicing that was it kind of
14396s held back intentionally or was it just
14397s like you know what this is a complian
14400s joy it's fun we're not positive how
14402s successful we'll be going up against
14404s Valiant but you know let's give it a
14406s shot so it was it like what was going
14407s through your guys's Minds when you
14408s picked that
14409s so uh it is a comp that we've played
14412s previously
14413s um we were usually playing the droughts
14416s Queen comp on uh uh previous rounds of
14419s coliseo because we thought it would be
14420s more optimal just against who we were
14422s playing but we knew that we were good at
14423s that comp we played it in warm up we did
14425s really really well in warm-up and so in
14426s our first match on stream
14428s um we decided that we're not gonna play
14430s it on stream because we don't want to
14432s deal with Valiant watching that and
14434s thinking about it and trying to figure
14436s something out because if we play Queen
14437s comp the entire set and then we come out
14439s on on on this on this uh erisa poke comp
14442s they're gonna have no idea what to do
14444s um and that that was that was fun
14446s because I've only played ellari like
14448s four times in my entire life
14450s um so it's like all right this is yeah
14452s it's like all right or battle lose uh we
14454s gotta we gotta start this reverse sweep
14456s go like we got to keep the reverse sweep
14457s going
14458s um I gotta rock this uh time to you know
14462s internalize whatever I've learned from
14465s watching other players
14466s um and and get good at this allari hero
14468s and then we saw them make the adaptation
14470s to simbastian which is really really
14472s strong against what we were playing so I
14474s decided to go Lucio and just amp the
14475s team around the map and it was it was
14477s pretty easy we I think I think we
14479s outmaneuvered them
14480s um both literally in game and
14482s metaphorically in terms of what we were
14483s playing
14484s yeah
14485s definitely the big brain play to hold
14488s off on a composition intentionally so
14490s that people can't Scout it and make
14492s adjustments I like the mega meta
14494s gameplay but my final question for me
14497s before I hand it back over to Tiny is
14500s talking about watchpoint Gibraltar just
14503s going into the second half of that game
14505s what was kind of the atmosphere in the
14508s comms because you guys
14509s full held
14511s for your for defense on watchpoint and
14514s honestly it got a little shaky at some
14516s point but just that Anna and brigitta
14519s composition that I saw from you guys as
14522s you know a main support player I was
14523s like I get it it's it's a solid backline
14527s you have to protect your Anna and if
14529s you're on a lives your team wins but
14531s when you successfully pulled that off
14533s what was going through your guys's Minds
14536s uh everyone kind of at the same moment
14540s said okay no one celebrate no one's here
14543s no one no one do anything that could be
14545s considered as celebration as a victory
14548s we all internally you know we we we
14550s focused on what we were doing because we
14552s said there was like no one said it but
14555s it was like if we lost right now this
14557s would be
14558s the worst tragedy to happen
14562s um just ever
14564s um so we all you know really just it was
14567s a moment of like centering and focusing
14568s no one said anything for probably 30
14570s seconds
14571s um like as we were selecting Heroes just
14573s like
14574s breathing you know getting our stuff
14576s together and it was um you you could you
14578s could cut the tension with a knife it
14579s felt um but it was it was good because
14582s everyone was here together nobody was
14584s worried we were going to fail we just
14586s knew it was a theoretical possibility
14588s and we're all you know mentally going
14590s through a checklist of what do we do to
14592s make sure that doesn't happen
14594s that is awesome to hear that you guys
14595s were that focused on coming out on top

14636s all heroes tournaments what do those
14637s really mean to you as a player on a team
14641s um I think Collingdale Heroes is
14642s something really beautiful because I've
14644s um I've known that I was queer from a
14647s very very young age
14649s um and but I you know I I appear very
14653s um you know CIS male so I don't often
14655s encounter a lot of the same uh vulgarity
14658s and bigotry that others do
14660s um but I have seen uh uh calling no
14664s Heroes be this amazing thing as as
14666s people
14667s discover who they are and choose to
14670s compete in this event and feel welcomed
14672s into this space and and you get to watch
14674s people grow and change and evolve and
14677s play in a tournament that allows them to
14679s play well and showcase their skills and
14682s it it's it's it's really it's it's
14684s beautiful you get to you get to watch
14686s people grow in real time seeing them
14690s uh uh become you know who they want to
14693s be and who they really are
14695s um and I've always I I ever since
14697s hearing about calling all heroes I've
14699s always really uh valued it as something
14701s that can uh expand
14704s um you know women and marginalized
14705s genders in a Competitive Gaming space
14708s um because you see so many stupid
14709s arguments on on Twitter and Instagram
14711s about how people say oh you know well
14713s you well well we need to separate them
14715s because you know women and and these
14717s people are bad at games because you know
14719s men are intrinsically better at games
14721s and it's like it's it's the stupidest
14723s thing I've ever read Because when we
14725s give people a space to compete and be
14727s good
14728s we saw what was it was like a 300
14730s increase on in people joining path to
14732s Pro from uh uh uh from calling all
14736s heroes that's a that's amazing even just
14739s that's that's just a beautiful thing to
14741s see and
14742s having a space like this you know shout
14745s out to Pizza for making like calling all
14747s heroes all happen she's the goat
14749s um just a a phenomenal uh uh uh
14752s environment to be a part of and if you
14754s are on you know the the verge of
14756s competing thinking about wanting to
14758s compete
