Overwatch 2 Known Issues List - August 8, 2024

To the heroes of Overwatch,

We want to keep you up to date on some of the bugs and issues we’re aware of that are affecting the game. This is not a complete list of all currently tracked issues affecting Overwatch 2, rather, this is a targeted list of some known specific issues with this release.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience, and we appreciate y’all’s understanding. Our team is working to resolve these issues, and we will provide more information as soon as we have updates!

Current Issues

• We are investigating an issue where players may encounter performance issues at that start and end of a match on PS5. Fully closing and restarting the application when you notice this issue may help.

Resolved Issues

• We resolved an issue where Mercy’s Resurrect ability is not counting toward Player Progression statistics.
• We resolved an issue where there was issues with the effects for Bound Demon Mythic Weapon for Reinhardt skin.
• We resolved issues with gameplay crashes in Dorado. We’re still investigating why a certain spacecraft crashed into the map.
• We recently resolved an issue where Orisa’s Energy Javalin would deal critical damage from headshots which is not intended.
• We recently resolved an issue where all of Ramattra’s cooldowns are set at 11 seconds.
• We recently resolved an issue where Sombra is seen by everyone on the opposing team whenever she’s detected by a single opponent.
