| 707s | we saw some pretty crazy things |
| 709s | happening yesterday avril but uh now we |
| 712s | get to send one of our teams home in our |
| 714s | first match-up as we take a look at the |
| 716s | hangzhou spark and the seoul dynasty |
| 719s | it ends so soon i mean we just got here |
| 721s | we just ended up in the tournament |
| 722s | bracket for the kickoff clash in each |
| 724s | division and already somebody's gotta go |
| 726s | there's only four teams here one one |
| 729s | just ends up being eliminated today |
| 730s | between hangzhou and seoul so pretty |
| 732s | tight games honestly it's uh it's still |
| 734s | close enough that |
| 735s | it's a little uncertain |
| 738s | who is you know maybe the very best team |
| 740s | and who is maybe the team that will and |
| 742s | definitely go home i mean i think we |
| 744s | know that dragons are somewhat ahead |
| 745s | right now we know that hunger definitely |
| 747s | struggled a bit yesterday but still i |
| 749s | think the four teams are generally |
| 750s | competitive enough that |
| 752s | i don't even know if i trust those |
| 753s | results to to say for sure who's going |
| 755s | to be the better team in these matches |
| 757s | yeah and i think we're kind of seeing |
| 758s | that not just here in the apac region a |
| 760s | lot of people been saying like oh apec |
| 761s | is so difficult to predict i it seems |
| 763s | like everywhere is difficult to predict |
| 766s | right now n a putting up some crazy |
| 768s | results as well so i think people |
| 769s | exactly just across the board kind of |
| 770s | getting boomed and you love to see that |
| 772s | you love to see that that tightness in |
| 774s | the uh the competitiveness between these |
| 776s | teams um rather than you know just being |
| 778s | able to punch down onto a lower team |
| 780s | constantly you know the the level of |
| 782s | play has overall risen here in the 2022 |
| 785s | season but hangzhou and dynasty going to |
| 787s | be duking it out first winner will stay |
| 789s | alive and have a chance to make it into |
| 791s | the grand finals tomorrow uh but the |
| 793s | loser unfortunately has to stay home i |
| 796s | suppose no going home because |
| 798s | unfortunately we don't have lands we're |
| 799s | not anyone's lives like everybody else |
| 801s | they're getting spoiled over there but |
| 802s | it's fine we're getting spoiled with |
| 803s | incredible gameplay here's our starting |
| 805s | lineup for the side of the seoul dynasty |
| 807s | nothing to be surprised by whatsoever |
| 810s | i'll tell you what those said last year |
| 812s | in 2021 we had all the home stand scared |
| 814s | they get to have some land events this |
| 815s | time around and eventually who knows |
| 817s | maybe we could all get together pending |
| 819s | how things go let's take a look at seoul |
| 821s | first and foremost standard starting |
| 823s | lineup here not expecting uh stalker to |
| 825s | come in just yet so |
| 827s | everybody's been i mean it's been |
| 829s | gelling it's been working except it |
| 831s | doesn't work against shanghai i think |
| 832s | that's just the one caveat they can't |
| 835s | seem to beat shanghai i believe the |
| 836s | record now between 20 overall matches |
| 839s | it's like 12 to shanghai and eight to |
| 841s | dynasty and something like five or six |
| 843s | of those from the shanghai winning pool |
| 846s | is like all their recent games so i |
| 848s | haven't beat shanghai since like 2020 |
| 850s | playoffs or something like that so so it |
| 851s | was it was the lower final of 2020 and |
| 854s | then got them into the grand final for |
| 856s | the dynasty versus the shock |
| 858s | yeah it's been a good long while since |
| 860s | they've been able to best them |
| 862s | well they're a good team they did well |
| 863s | yesterday it's just yeah again so |
| 866s | against shanghai something happens now |
| 867s | that rivalry doesn't work out well for |
| 869s | saul hopefully better against the |
| 870s | hangzhou spark who themselves um i think |
| 874s | i was personally probably a little bit |
| 875s | let down by their match yesterday to be |
| 877s | honest with you because they came in as |
| 878s | a first seed |
| 880s | they beaten the philadelphia fusion |
| 881s | three and two previously |
| 883s | um and i think despite the |
| 886s | being fairly competitive at least on the |
| 888s | first two maps once we got the gibraltar |
| 890s | didn't start to look that good that was |
| 892s | a very awkward map for the hundred spike |
| 894s | i believe it was something like a four |
| 895s | minute game bang for fusion capping a |
| 896s | fully way through and then spark got |
| 898s | full hell just nothing to show at all |
| 900s | they completely forgot how to play on |
| 901s | that nap i think queen street ended up |
| 903s | being quite competitive again i think |
| 904s | that was like a |
| 905s | 0.01 meter win or something like that we |
| 908s | even had the visual bug come up that |
| 910s | made things a little bit more confusing |
| 912s | um |
| 913s | pretty sure that game came down to an |
| 915s | interesting grab by bernard into a solo |
| 917s | jeff blossom by alfie that only killed |
| 919s | carpe and then they got a negative trade |
| 920s | off that but |
| 921s | at least the last map ended up being |
| 923s | fairly close but i don't think that's |
| 925s | the best we've seen a sparkler that |
| 926s | actually felt like one of their weaker |
| 927s | games over the course of the season |
| 930s | yeah i mean we'll see how they rally |
| 931s | back because obviously they're going to |
| 933s | be hungry to carry on throughout this |
| 935s | tournament they want to be victorious |
| 936s | the dynasty is right there with them i |
| 939s | think that they're going to be |
| 939s | frustrated given that they have not been |
| 941s | able to beat shanghai dragons i think |
| 943s | they're going to be frustrated given |
| 944s | that they lost to the spark in their |
| 946s | opening match of the season and i think |
| 948s | that they want some revenge it's all |
| 950s | about who can perform on the day though |
| 951s | as we've been seeing across both regions |
| 954s | anybody can beat anyone on a given day |
| 956s | depending on the prep depending on how |
| 958s | dialed in you are once you enter the |
| 960s | server so we'll see who is a bit more |
| 963s | prepared because this is a veteran squad |
| 964s | you've got some young gun people here |
| 967s | from the side of the hangzhou spark that |
| 969s | are getting ready to try to make a name |
| 971s | for themselves alpha yi has really been |
| 972s | making a statement um yeah you know |
| 974s | obviously for a rookie of the year |
| 976s | candidacy and i think it's been a bit of |
| 978s | a renaissance for bernard as well who's |
| 981s | been looking utterly incredible shy |
| 982s | finally having a squad around him that |
| 984s | can really perform this whole team |
| 985s | across the board has been looking |
| 986s | fantastic but they are going up against |
| 989s | the dynasty that does have you know |
| 992s | champions on this roster |
| 995s | and this is the type of matchup now both |
| 996s | this one seoul versus spark and also |
| 998s | later on in fusion versus shanghai |
| 1000s | there i mean obviously it's a rematch |
| 1002s | because we've had a round robin and our |
| 1003s | kickoff clash opening qualify stage |
| 1005s | right but |
| 1006s | it's their first games the very first |
| 1008s | game of the season in apec was philly vs |
| 1010s | shanghai on that same day |
| 1012s | seoul opened up their season versus |
| 1014s | hangzhou's opening game of the season |
| 1016s | which is against each other they end up |
| 1017s | going 3-1 the way of the hangzhou spark |
| 1019s | but a very i think uh poor performing |
| 1022s | soul compared to what we have now spark |
| 1024s | came out the gates quite hot and now |
| 1026s | yesterday didn't think their performance |
| 1028s | was that good so i don't know if they |
| 1029s | peaked already i don't know if solar |
| 1031s | peaking now that's probably dangerous |
| 1032s | for spark if solar peaking now and |
| 1034s | sparkle kind of shifting down but i |
| 1035s | believe that spark can go back to where |
| 1037s | they've been recently an additional note |
| 1039s | here as well i'm pretty sure spark is |
| 1041s | the high ac they do come as a number one |
| 1043s | seed they should have the map pick |
| 1044s | they've chosen ileos |
| 1046s | that they have but i think that both of |
| 1048s | these teams if you start having that |
| 1050s | conversation around a peak they'd |
| 1052s | give you the dennis reynolds they |
| 1053s | haven't even begun to peak afro you are |
| 1055s | about to witness it here as they look to |
| 1057s | transform many stages |

| 1061s | we'll see who can get it done though as |
| 1062s | we do kick things off on elios of course |

| 1088s | genji in their previous matchup hangzhou |
| 1089s | is like we're gonna bring out sorry the |
| 1090s | echo we're gonna bring up the echo once |
| 1092s | again see how fitz and the wrist assault |

| 1164s | played the most ash so fight apac and |
| 1166s | probably the world at this stage as far |
| 1167s | as the overwatch league goes another |
| 1169s | opening kill from alfie but it is traded |

| 1174s | hard to say either way if it's now gonna |

| 1184s | get that elimination now it's looking |
| 1185s | for smurfing he will have it alfie is |
| 1187s | just dominating the server so while the |
| 1189s | dynasty yeah they got controlled they |
| 1190s | got in the lead hong kong's park re-take |
| 1192s | it as the dynasty get the 35 percent |
| 1195s | and that's just been the goal of the |
| 1197s | hangzhou uh hundred spark right i mean |
| 1199s | unlock the echo put alfie on this pick |
| 1201s | on a particular map where the echo is |
| 1203s | going to shine it's not all about the |
| 1204s | genji for this guy he's got the |
| 1205s | duplicate available here as well we |
| 1207s | talked about the fact that creative |
| 1208s | might have been able to get the nano |
| 1209s | first but that's been matched now the |
| 1210s | other end by ironing plentiful now no |
| 1213s | targets to play through as well |
| 1215s | because we're definitely looking at the |
| 1216s | hundred spark leading by what's what |
| 1218s | will soon be a fair margin that advises |

| 1222s | get in on top of fire and he puts a |
| 1223s | decent amount of damage out but fits in |
| 1225s | the meantime he pops attack visor breaks |

| 1249s | even saw what alpha you copied and you |
| 1250s | literally i only didn't get the chance |
| 1252s | to put the nano on to alpha yi |
| 1254s | so uh the fight ends as soon as it |
| 1255s | begins and as soon as we have a bit of a |
| 1257s | lead for 100 spark and they can't that's |
| 1259s | flipped over straight away we still have |
| 1260s | this ball spawn we were following profit |
| 1262s | a little bit earlier thought he would |
| 1263s | open up the plate he still can this time |
| 1265s | around |
| 1266s | yeah the double dive coming through shy |
| 1267s | still gonna end up falling rez is |
| 1269s | available he's trying to lob in that |
| 1270s | pulse bomb not gonna be able to get the |
| 1271s | stick not gonna be able to get the kill |

| 1308s | lot of ultimates coming online we're |
| 1309s | waiting for nano from creative again |
| 1310s | after you're looking towards a duplicate |

| 1428s | for the duplicate to come online but the |
| 1429s | timing wasn't that far off he was maybe |
| 1431s | only a couple percent behind creative |
| 1433s | anyway creative had enough window where |
| 1435s | i mean he pops nano end there's still no |
| 1437s | response so this should be the nano |
| 1439s | advisor play ended up being a |
| 1441s | and a copy for alfie and i believe as |
| 1443s | well if i noticed correctly i only only |
| 1445s | just got the nano as i'll be died so a |
| 1448s | couple things going weird there and uh |
| 1450s | not my favorite copy |
| 1452s | target coming through from lpe either |
| 1454s | well alfie you're gonna be moving away |
| 1456s | from the echo now that we set our sights |
| 1457s | on lighthouse goes to the genji that has |
| 1459s | been |
| 1460s | delivering fantastic results for him the |
| 1462s | whole season throughout |
| 1464s | see how he fares now prophet just gonna |
| 1466s | be sticking on the tracer not looking to |
| 1467s | match him here it would seem he's not |
| 1469s | for the moment as he contests the high |
| 1471s | ground he's fits dropping down but |
| 1473s | that's gonna be super it's dropping as |
| 1474s | well the elimination comes through |
| 1475s | that's the first one this time for the |
| 1476s | side of the dynasty and maybe even the |
| 1478s | first cap as well as alphae is caught |
| 1480s | out nowhere to go no dash no deflect |

| 1487s | get dropped so any energy that he did |

| 1504s | on through alfie on the tracer burn up |
| 1506s | for a diva and unfortunately this is |
| 1508s | kind of what happens we have an off tank |
| 1510s | player on this type of map we've seen |
| 1512s | burnout played over here we've seen |
| 1513s | actually a lot of teams play the diva |
| 1514s | here i don't think it's the primary |
| 1516s | choice i think it's just because look |
| 1517s | you're playing an off tank this person |
| 1519s | doesn't really play the winston diva |
| 1520s | ends up being the option |
| 1521s | oh and lpe i mean fresh off the swap to |
| 1524s | the tracer it's only gonna be sent back |
| 1526s | into the respawn room creative and the |
| 1528s | rest of the squad just focus firing |
| 1529s | finding that elimination now profit |
| 1530s | gonna be diving in pops the recall gets |
| 1532s | himself out the safety is shot gonna be |
| 1534s | clipped by that bio nade pulse bomb |
| 1536s | still held for now let's see if crawford |
| 1538s | can come up with a stick he's gonna lob |
| 1539s | it into the side room not gonna find |
| 1541s | anything though super rich just stuck in |
| 1542s | the corner holding that shield up keeps |
| 1544s | himself protected |
| 1548s | 55 and counting nothing to respond |
| 1550s | through from the spark just yet at least |
| 1552s | the nano has been shut down onto smurfs |
| 1554s | that's something that goes the way off |

| 6857s | get a read on the dragons comp and they |
| 6859s | manage to close it out a little mini |
| 6861s | reverse sweep on the side of liang tower |
| 6863s | as they take it two to one |
| 6865s | and that's a great sign for fusion as |
| 6867s | well that you know they weren't just |
| 6868s | going to be outclassed by the dragons |

| 6870s | shanghai you know maybe we just got to |
| 6872s | put the reset button on that one you |
| 6873s | know turn it off and on and see if it |
| 6875s | works after that possess managed to get |
| 6877s | the nano blade out before the grab is |
| 6879s | available so you see that fate had the |
| 6880s | right idea he wanted to go for the grave |
| 6882s | onto zest but the grav just wasn't there |

| 9058s | coming through that we've seen every |

| 9061s | series but it still is the shanghai |

| 9377s | make it hard to get sight lines when you |
| 9379s | have no positioning to walk in from so i |
| 9383s | guess i rate the trace as long as lip |
| 9384s | can do things on the tracer it's up to |
| 9386s | mn3 now i think he's the perfect |
| 9387s | position to carry the team infrasight |
| 9389s | will be pretty large here as well |
| 9391s | considering how slow dragons are playing |
| 9393s | being able to see exactly how they want |
| 9394s | to move is going to be big okay |
| 9397s | not going to hit faint jumps away from |

| 9399s | so they know that he's down in the lower |

| 9404s | well caught down here ends up dying |

| 9436s | that one ultimate fighting two players |
| 9438s | with a value is unheard of |
| 9441s | well they'll be happy that they popped |
| 9442s | it for sure now 35 seconds remaining a |
| 9445s | couple holds to work with the blade the |
| 9447s | rally not too far away here from the set |
| 9448s | of the dragons but four holst ready to |
| 9450s | roll at any given moment here from the |
| 9452s | side of the fusion who looked to pull |
| 9454s | off this point behold lip taking quite a |
| 9456s | bit of damage now gonna be forced to |
| 9457s | recall dive into the back zest gets the |
| 9459s | nano pulls the blade has the deflect up |
| 9461s | still eats the air gets his target of |
| 9463s | izzy now he looks for a little bit more |
| 9464s | that's legit gone dead as well the wife |
| 9467s | nearly completed his fate is the last |
| 9468s | one alive and they can just stagger him |
| 9470s | out it's only eight seconds remaining |
| 9472s | he's gonna get the hell out of here but |
| 9473s | he cannot do so cannot get the primal |
| 9475s | and that should just about be it no one |
| 9477s | is going to be able to touch so just a |
| 9479s | little bit in front of point b is as far |
| 9480s | as they need to go for the fusion to |
| 9483s | take this 3-0 |
| 9485s | and all that needed to happen there was |
| 9488s | a really really good fight when coming |
| 9490s | through via infrasight then dragons |
| 9491s | being reset and a final fight where zest |
| 9494s | gets to pull blade before who are you |
| 9495s | why because who doesn't have the blade |
| 9497s | what you need to see out of dragons is |
| 9500s | probably the easy key just pops nana |
| 9502s | onto who are you anyway because if you |
| 9503s | lose that fight you simply lose the |
| 9505s | entire attack it's done you don't have |
| 9506s | more time is the first one dead |
| 9508s | nano goes on who are you he maybe looks |
| 9510s | for the blade you can still rescue that |
| 9512s | fight the fact that dragons end up |
| 9513s | losing that final engagement with |
| 9514s | multiple ultimates still online with a |
| 9516s | primal nearly there it is heartbreaking |
| 9518s | because they were moments away from |
| 9521s | actually being able to compete for |
| 9522s | fusion's timings for their ultimates |
| 9524s | coming online just a little bit earlier |
| 9525s | or actually having saved them because we |
| 9527s | remember during that shuttle phase after |
| 9529s | losing b initially when they regain |
| 9531s | control five ultimates perfect economy |
| 9534s | it's exactly the kind of position you |
| 9535s | want to be in for that type of defense |
| 9537s | and that's after already bleeding down |
| 9538s | the aid timer reasonably well as well |
| 9540s | you know quite a bit of significant time |
| 9542s | lost |
| 9543s | that's fusion putting themselves in the |
| 9545s | driver's seat for an actual 3-0 it's |
