First adjust the setting of your Zoom in ADS to match your preference.

You need to remember that your own personal cross-hairs/dot is not moving, it stays true and does not move between shots, regardless how you move, it stays true to where you point with mouse no matter what.

But the rifle’s front-sight/rear-sight post, and rifle's reticle does move off center, it tilts and between shoots it goes off center, but this doesn’t change where your Cross-hairs/Dot is placed, or where the center of your screen is.

Only time your Personal Crosshairs/Dot moves on it's own is during Reloading, your Personal Crosshairs/Dot moves upwards, does go off center while in hipfire position, but when it finishes reloading, and goes right back to where you left it, into zoom/off zoom position it, no matter what it stays where you pointed at.

Why does it feel weird?

What could be going on, it's all in your head, you are trying to compensate for the moving reticle, when you should ignore it completely. It is more of a distraction, that could make you feel like your decisiveness has to wait, but it doesn’t alter where the shot goes from your personal dot, since the shot goes where the dot is no matter what, and that dot is always in center of your screen.

This doesn’t happen with Widow or Ana because their Screen Reticle is On/Close to their Eyes, and stays true to the position of the screen, not the rifle. Since Ashe's Rifle Reticle is on housed inside the rear-sight post, in middle of the rifle itself.

Locked in 60fps animation? Is it Fixable?

I don’t think it’s fixable, because it’s natural movement of the rifle between shots in zoomed position, it’s a rather realistic interpretation of how Ashe is pushing the rifle forward with her right hand in order to release, cycle another round in chamber for next shot while zoomed in, this complete motion is causing it reticle to tilt or go off center.Since Ashe is also sending the discharged casing of the round to fly off on screen upwards diagonally rather then horizontally.

Though, As far as smoothing animation there is nothing wrong on PC but console there might be, i’ll explain;

Ashe can shoot off 1 Scoped shot faster than Ana.For Perspective;

  • Widow needs 20frames from the animation starting, until her weakest version of the Scoped shot goes off.
  • Ana needs 14frames for the Hitscan Quickscope to go off,
  • Ashe needs 12~13frames to Shoot while Scoped-in, i’ll explain why below;

The less animation results in faster/quicker adjustments between frames,but it is still smooth nevertheless on PC, but if your system is locked at 30fps, it will look choppy when you zoom-in.

Naturally before the rear-sight post of the rifle which houses the reticle, opens up, and lights up for you to look through, the game is already beginning to zoom in, I have 2 different clips both 50~54ms in Training room,

Normally takes 1 frame of zoom before the light showed up on rifle,but there are times where that the zoom and light shows up on the same frame,Could be the server trying to compensate to skip 1 frame of zoom for inputs.Which isn’t anything to be worried about.

The movement speed while Zoom can change your perspective consistantly via Terrain your stepping on.

What you do have to focus on, is the fact when you move around, the terrain your stepping on can vastly alter how your own person scope dot bobbles up and down, due to how the camera is trying to look through the rifle.Regardless how the reticle on the rifle changes and tilts, focus on center of your screen, the fast movement speed can greatly alter the feel of your shots landing.

So you need to be esp. careful what you are stepping on due to movement speed. At best, try to position yourself correctly so you can take a moment to take a steady shot.

How can you train yourself with Ashe to focus on middle of screen?

Alt+Z and turn off Hud display, normally on widow it's easier because you have red hue creating a circle so you can pinpoint the middle of your screen, but on Ashe you need to rely on the rear & front sight post along with her reticle which moves, normally you know where center so utilizing the left and right sides of reticle to get feel of center. This is easier on the other Skins like Safari and Jungle, but can cause you to notice more frequently the change in motion between shots, as the reticle moves and your personal cross-hair/Dot stays centered.

One way to train yourself via Hud display turned off;

Currently, if you play Ashe on PC and have higher than 60 fps, the aim down site (ADS) animation can look choppy or "stepped". There is no lag going on. The ADS still happens at the correct speed. But the animation looks can feel a bit off.

In an upcoming patch, the ADS is smoothed out regardless of how high your fps is and should feel much better.

Unfortunately, right now, the patch that it is fixed in is 1.32 (1.31 is on the PTR right now). We're looking into pulling the fix forward but it's unlikely. It's a lot of code and needs a fair amount of testing so we don't want to rush it and risk breaking something else.

Apologies for the issue.
