@Ow_Poppunksux That generally happens when your rank and MMR converge and you're basically at your true skill level. Not saying there's no chance there's a bug (I don't know your specific situation) but that is expected behavior in a system like this over time.

@EarlStanford @AdRicoJ @Blizzard_Ent The expectation shouldn't be that every time you report a person you get feedback that they're banned. It's the combination of many people reporting that ultimately makes action happen. I report every time I see bad behavior and only see confirmation dialogs occasionally.

More updates from Aaron re: balance and matchmaking. It's worth noting that additional changes to address wide ranges of ranks in matches went live earlier today. @denniswolf8 @aaronkellerOW @andybelford What bothers you about it, specifically? This felt natural to me as a player (it's a common UX paradigm across a bunch of games) but I'd like to understand other perspectives on it.

@MuppetNinjas Almost certainly not. I love transparency as a general rule but there are very real downsides to releasing the details of these kinds of implementations. It isn't curious folks with good intentions that are a concern here. It's people who like to exploit/break things.

@meganleigh_r I've recently returned to my teenage ways and am going through a bunch of Vonnegut short story collections. Picked up "Look at the Birdie" at my local used book shop last weekend.

@MuppetNinjas It's a totally fair question! I nerd out about matchmaking and ranked systems a lot, so I understand the desire. In my opinion they're the trickiest systems to get right in all of game development. There are no right answers and every game community has its own perspective.

@smolwaffle_ No plans to go back to the OW1 system directly. We do have some changes coming to the end of round flow that should make it a much better experience. We'll be talking about the details....I don't know when, actually. Stay tuned!
