What would you recommend personally? Beat the game than play it, or play it than beat the game? It's my first time ending it.
A correct timeline would be going through the game -> getting to the final dungeon -> going through Inevitable Excess -> going into final battle. But you can do it after the main game if you wish, too. It's not a catastrophe if you do the DLC after.
