[2022] Loading screen stuck on 100%

Hello all! Looking for some troubleshooting advice.

After the patch update this morning (4/25) I've been unable to load any saved games or start any new games based on either the two DLCs (Inevitable Excess and Ashes). I'm basically stuck with a long loading screen that progresses slowly, and then gets stuck on 100%. Interestingly enough, the base game works fine, I can load my old saves and start a new play through without any issues for that mode. I don't play with mods so there's no updating issues as far as that goes. I did come across two potential fixes online, deleting the LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous folder and to verify the installation (I own the game on Epic Games if that helps at all) but neither of those solutions have solved this issue.

I couldn't find any other similar cases posted here or elsewhere online and was hoping perhaps one of you all had any ideas or had come across a similar situation they were able to resolve. Would appreciate any advice

Hello. Try refreshing the cache by deleting all files except saved games, portraits and screenshots from the following folder: C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous

Using any mods? They may be the case, make sure they are all updated.

I test loaded a save from my main campaign and that appeared to load fine, however I have not altered that save in a week or two so it may not of been exposed to whatever is going on.

Mods may be the case. Make sure your Toybox is updated. There was a new hotfix on yesterday evening that could break it.

I'm sure there's some workaround - something I did the other day briefly solved the issue, before it came back again the next day. Unfortunately none of the suggested troubleshooting steps seem to be the cause of that brief success

Are you sure the game is up-to-date? Also, did you try verifying the game files and reinstalling it? Also, if you use any mods, did you update them?
