External link →Did You used any mods back then or using anything new now? It might be causing the problem. From own experience I can tell you that if the game crashes when loading around 4%-7% its most likely the mods.
This is the most likely cause, yes. Also try refreshing the cache by deleting all files except saved games, portraits and screenshots from the following folder: C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous
