[2022] Anyone tried playing an Arcanist on the Console version? | Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Dev Tracker

I've decided to give the console edition a shot. Well. Kinda. I'm using the controller UI on the PC version.

I can't figure out how to prepare spells on my BFT. I can set them on my Cleric and Shaman, and I can view the Spellbook on the BFT. I looks like that of the Cleric, but when you hover a spell you've put in the Spellbook there's no indicator saying "A - Memorize Spell." I can't figure out how to make the spells fill the slots. It's not an option in the context menu, either.

Short of going back to the KBM UI, does anyone have a suggestion/solution? I can do that, obviously, but I was doing my best to play solely with the console UI.

Does anyone know if this works on the PS4? I have one of those, and could buy another copy.

Currently Arcanist isn't functional both on PC and Console with the same issue. We're working on a fix on all platforms.

I absolutely adore the idea of an arcanist, and don't want to burn myself out playing other classes until it's fixed.

I'd expect within the next week. But note that delays may always happen.

One more question if I may; do you have any insight into why this bug is happening? Is there anything different between the arcanist and a 'prepared' caster in regards to this bug?

I'm not too deep into technical details, but there's some unique code for Arcanist spellbook which isn't present anywhere else, which seems to have malfunctioned after the update.
