Converting maps using the map tab now only converts your maps to those that naturally occur at their tier. This means that you're now left with 72 copies of only a few different maps after conversion. How in the world does something like this make it through everyone in the chain and get pushed live? This has to be a mistake.
EDIT: There are a couple outspoken people saying the map tab conversion always worked this way. Those people are wrong as evidenced by the many Standard players here sharing their frustration with the change. When vendoring maps, whether to bring them to current series or to 3-to-1 them to a higher tier, yes it only chose naturally occurring at tier maps, but not when using the "Convert Maps" button in the map tab.
The fix is as simple as something like:
"Maps may convert to any available map at each given tier, prioritizing empty spaces available in the current-series map tab."
...which would return the functionality to how it worked before this patch, as well as add an additional layer of flexibility, and solve the issue of having as few as one specific map from the current series available at a given tier.
