at the bottom of the patch notes a recent change was made to explosive concoction:

Updated - Explosive Concoction now has 115% of base Attack Speed (previously 100%), and +6% to Critical Strike Chance (previously +5%). The spread angle of Explosive Concoction projectiles has also been increased.

If I had to guess, this change will probably also affect poisonous concoction and could potentially make shotgunning much less reliable on single targets
