Question About Reserved Character Names | Inactive Account or Character?

Could you clarify which one is correct? Do I simply need to log in to my account to keep the character names, or do I need to log in to each character individually to retain their names?

Hiya, thanks for your patience. To answer: just logging into any character on the game client should be enough to avoid any character names becoming inactive. Please note you will need to log into the game client, not just the Path of Exile website.
