Raised Spectres will now be monster level 72 at gem level 20 (from 76), have lowered Accuracy (to roughly match Raised Zombies at the same monster levels) and slightly slower monster level scaling past gem level 20.

GGG please reconsider monster level nerf for Raise Spectre.

Monster level reduces the life much more than the damage. The nerf to monster level will make spectres die easily at endgame content. And re-raising spectre mechanic is almost impossible in middle of fight. We need to desecrate and find the right one and target corpse to raise new spectre.

A lot of endgame content might become impossible to play, especially for newer players.

For example, many people like to use Slave Driver:

Raise Spectre 20 now is level 76 monster. This gives about 24k life for Slave Driver.

With change to -4 monster level, it is 19k life for level 72 Slave Driver.

Raise Spectre 25 now is level 83 monster. This gives 39k life for Slave Driver, but it's very weak against Sirus because it dies easily.

I spoke with the design team about this and asked if they'd consider reviewing the nerf. They explained that even after the nerf, spectres have more life than basically every other minion type. They also have higher base resistances in general. As an example, a level 20 Solar Guard spectre has almost double the life of a level 20 Golem or Zombie. We suspect that these will still be one of the top-played builds in 3.13.
