This weekend we launched Path of Exile: Delirium and were really pleased that we reached a new peak in concurrent player numbers. While there were some server issues that were exacerbated by a lengthy DDOS attack, things went relatively smoothly.

Over the weekend, we released two hotfixes and have released one more today. We also released the Thaumaturgy Mystery Box with 38 new microtransactions.

We've been closely monitoring feedback about Delirium since its launch and have been discussing it among the team. We are currently preparing a development manifesto about the main concerns that people have, and expect to post this tomorrow (as we need to take today to investigate what options are available). Thank you for your patience!

Later this week on March 18th at 3pm PDT, we'll launch Path of Exile: Delirium on Xbox One and PlayStation 4! This update will also roll-in as many PC hotfixes as possible.

In the meantime, please report any problems you encounter in the bug reports forum. Thank you so much for your ongoing feedback and support!

Stay healthy up there in NZ guys ! Let devs work from home :)

And gratz on the league launch !

Thanks! There are only eight confirmed cases in NZ right now and no community spread so things are still pretty under control here. However, the team is currently getting prepped so that we can all work remotely and in the meantime have been encouraged to take the appropriate safety measures.

I absoluetly love the league so far. I just hope the dual wielding bug gets fixed asap and I'm also hoping for less "on death" stuff on the screen, it's really hard to backtrack and pick up loot in the current state. Thanks for your work.

We have a fix for the dual-wielding issue and will deploy it as soon as we can.

" We've been closely monitoring feedback about Delirium since its launch and have been discussing it among the team. " Does this include people that think the game is fine as it is? I for one enjoy the vision of the game, the risks and rewards, giving me a reason to keep tweaking my gear and trying to get tougher and stronger, but people that are enjoying the game as it is are busy playing, while the forums are full of negativity towards it's reception. I don't blame the development team for kowtowing to the masses, it makes the most sense, I just worry that the outcry only voices one side of things.

We definitely do our best to consider the community as a whole when taking in feedback.

I find it rather annoying that there wasn't issued an immediate hotifx to the dual-wielding bug. Not only is it irritating to recast your auras every new instance, it's also a significant loss of damage.

League start happens once every 3 months not 3 days. And not everyone reads the forums or Reddit just to keep up with the latest game related news.

Frustrated is an enormous understatement.

I think it’s quite reasonable to be frustrated by that. Thank you for framing your feedback constructively. I don’t know why we couldn’t deploy a fix right away but I’ll talk to people and see if it’s something we can fix quicker in the future.

If you're on your second character, Cassia cannot be activated in maps. So you can't start the blight encounter.

That's the bug I'm referring to. Not sure exactly what kicks it off. In my personal case, I encountered her on my first character and completed the blight. Died a couple maps after. Char was in HC so I reroll and now that I'm back in maps, I can't talk to her when I see her.

Guildmate had the same thing happen on his second character, but his first char is still alive. So he swapped characters to the first char and was able to start the blight.

Basically, if you're on your second char because you rerolled or died on the first one, there's a good chance you can't engage in blight content. I've heard that you also might not be able to anoint, but I can't confirm that.

For trade league it means you lose out on the blight content/returns. For SSF it means you can't even get oils due to not being able to buy them.

I’m waiting for info about this.
Edit: The team are aware and have a fix but it's still undergoing testing.

Will there be performance improvements? Delirium monsters give constant FPS drops even though my PC is fairly powerful.

Performance is a huge umbrella term so I’m reluctant to answer this without the full context of the manifesto. My recommendation is to wait for the manifesto but performance stuff is always (and currently) on our radar.

If you are duel wielding weapons that are not thrusting swords, the game will forget about the duel wield bonus when you enter a different zone so you have to weapon swap or remove and equip one of your weapons to fix it.

edit: only swords

It's specifically only when dual wielding two swords, other than thrusting swords. Other weapon types are unaffected.
