Hey everyone, we've done our best to gather all the most pressing questions into the first part of this Q&A. Let me know if there are any missing and I'll make sure we get them into part two's answers next week.

yes, i just wish for performance improvements on the existing tools, otherwise i'm pretty happy with this, it's a divisive issue but I sticked around partly because i really liked their approach to trading.
Don't worry, reasonable improvements to tools will probably still happen.
Can we -please- get more than 1 sentence regarding trade, which didn't actually tell us anything we didn't already know (We know you like the manifesto) Choosing that question in particular allowed you to simply say "We stand behind it" without providing, literally any, reasoning beyond what is already in the manifesto which is what so many of us take issue with to begin with.
I can accept a "No" answer, but I'd really appreciate some of the math behind the reasoning. I'd do unspeakable things to hear those hours of conversation you apparently had.
Honestly, our explanation would be exactly what was written in the trade manifesto.
Would you ever be open to responding to a multiple page document that analyzes the trade manifesto and line by line lays out what we feel are either incorrect, false assumptions, and bad for the game?
I don't even want to change trade for myself, but so my friends will play again. I've got quite a few live alerts open right now, I just want to work towards resolving what all my friends tell me is the only reason that stops them from playing and it sucks to just be told "No, no further reasoning, refer to our previous statements".
Thanks anyways, and I do mean thank you, despite my disappointment.
If you have specific questions about aspects of the Trade Manifesto please let me know.
Chris mentioned that Flashback was chosen because "Feedback and data shows us that players prefer to play in unvoided leagues so that they can keep the items."
However, from what I remember the last time a voided race was attempted was while the old MTX system was still in place and a LOT of players did not want to play a voided race because they couldn't use their MTX. I feel like that plays a major part in how many people are interested in a voided race now that it's fixed, and that point was completely glossed over by Chris.
That trend of preferring non-voided events continued even once the new microtransaction system was added.
