I think people rather want to see a fix to the problem than to future videos. It would also be the smarter business decision I suppose.
That's understandable. The issue has been raised many times within the team. Unfortunately, the technical requirements for its implementation are quite time consuming and involve taking key staff away from core game development. We will continue to raise the issue in the hopes that it may be possible to overcome this in the future.
This is exactly why I dislike this new community account, this comes across as such an unpersonable corporate pr response and is not what I expect from GGG.
I actually wrote this and am accountable for this account. The community team is my team. I understand why people are nervous about this but this account should result in more communication not less. I suspect people would have disliked the initial comment just as much even if I had posted it from this account.
