[2018] Server Error? "The servers are not yet online. You have been placed in a queue"

We have put a queue in place to keep the realm stable. User numbers today are unprecedentedly high (50% higher than our last launch) and we are reaching a new type of technical bottleneck that adding more servers doesn't solve.
