GGG is based a bit further south than where these warnings are in place so we're all okay for now but we're definitely on alert in case the situation escalates. There doesn't seem to be any damage from the Earthquakes, the big risk is the tsunami potential.
For how long is there a potential for a tsunami? Is there anything like evacuation orders around your area? Please stay safe folks <3
There are evacuation orders in place further north than us and further south. Auckland (where we are) is some what protected by islands off the coast which are also under evacuation orders. Looks like it's most likely to hit 1-2 hours from now. Auckland is currently under lockdown right now as well (unrelated to earthquakes).
