We have discussed this to some extent. It's a double edged sword because reddit is a great communication device and realistically the fastest way for us to reach the largest percentage of Path of Exile players compared to any other platform.
We also want to have those discussions with the community and be open to talking about things, and checking in on the feedback. It does breed more feedback but as Jonathan and Chris have said in the past, "we love angry reddit threads". Not when they're personal attacks but they usually aren't. They have been invaluable to us throughout the years so I don't really know what to say about that.
I guess I would ask that people aim to be fair and productive in their feedback and most importantly - be accepting of others who don't share their point of view. Various versions of "fix your game" and "you suck" aren't helpful - but all the thoughtful and well-reasoned responses are great and I don't want them to go away.
