This is no irony neither sarcasm, I am a quite new player (like 2 real season), and I am wondering whether there was a similar situation before. Concerning the reddit, it looks like the community is not happy about the decision regarding harvest.

Therefore, was there a situation like this before? And if so, did GGG listen to its community and reverted changes?
I would like to know if there are any chances that Harvest won't be nerfed this much.
Thanks!

Sometimes but not always. They do not give in if they feel their decision is better for the game.

I would not expect them to undo the nerfs.

Yep, that's pretty much the case here. I'm reading everything going on in the subreddit right now. I wish I had more to say but I would basically be repeating what was written in the manifesto. We definitely understand why people are upset about it. We'll continue to track the conversation and feedback.

Reddit and Twitter doesn't speak for the majority. You have your stats and you'll do the right thing. There's a reason PoE is becoming bigger and bigger.

Just anecdotally, one of the first times I saw the community in this sort of mood was over the discovery of the GCP recipe and how it would ruin the game by making it too easy (alongside the way it was discovered). It can be easy to get caught up in the mood of the day but I believe we've shown over time that we're flexible enough to change when needed and also confident in sticking to what we know when needed.

At this point I wish you, meaning anyone working for GGG, would completly disconnect from this subreddit because the expectation that bitching on this subreddit will eventually reach your eyes and ears is a major contributor to the ongoing toxicity here as of the past couple of years imo and that's significantly detracting from my and many other peoples enjoyment of the game, even if the gameplay is great

We have discussed this to some extent. It's a double edged sword because reddit is a great communication device and realistically the fastest way for us to reach the largest percentage of Path of Exile players compared to any other platform.

We also want to have those discussions with the community and be open to talking about things, and checking in on the feedback. It does breed more feedback but as Jonathan and Chris have said in the past, "we love angry reddit threads". Not when they're personal attacks but they usually aren't. They have been invaluable to us throughout the years so I don't really know what to say about that.

I guess I would ask that people aim to be fair and productive in their feedback and most importantly - be accepting of others who don't share their point of view. Various versions of "fix your game" and "you suck" aren't helpful - but all the thoughtful and well-reasoned responses are great and I don't want them to go away.
