Hi, I'm WarHamma of the AM outfit and I'm a regular player of the SolTech server. I do not officially represent anyone but I would like to express the general consensus of the SolTech community.

Days have passed yet there has still been no official response to an entire server's playerbase being bullied for days by a few horribly shameless cheaters. It is the general consensus from the SolTech playerbase right now that RPG is a disgrace with absolutely no respect for their SolTech players. There are paying customers in Soltech as well and the best customer service they can expect is complete inaction from developers for days as hackers, both blatant and less blatant, continue to abuse exploits and destroy fights with real cheat programs.

For further context, the cheaters for this week continually switched between all 3 factions. Their intent was obvious and that was to torment the rest of the playerbase while advertising their illegal software to potential buyers. SolTech truly deserves its infamous reputation.

This is not the first time cheaters have blatantly bullied the entire server nor will it be the last. Yet there has NEVER been anything done beyond bans that are days late. This silence from RPG speaks volumes. They do not care about the great potential of the Asia-Oceanic playerbase. Recently a big Twitch streamer tried the game out and the devs lavished special attention to that streamer with even AndySites himself tweeting about it. Meanwhile, while this is going on, an entire server on the other side of the world is suffering playing the same game that streamer is playing.

We do not want much. Even an official apology would be quite hollow at this point. That is how devastating the cheater's rampage has been. There is alot of anger right now from the regular playerbase and who knows how many new players have been lost from this incident alone. As I have said before, this is not the first time such an incident has occurred and nor will it be the last.

If this unacceptable lack of DECISIVE action continues from RPG, SolTech might as well go die and we all migrate like a massive laggy horde to other servers. Maybe other servers experiencing what we experience would prompt an official RPG response? This is just personal speculation.

Our message is this: We want moderation. SolTech NEEDS moderators. SolTech players DEMAND player moderators for our server. Apparently other servers have mods of their own but why not SolTech? Are we too irrelevant for RPG to care about our plight? The vast majority of the playerbase are legitimate players like in any other server. SolTech isnt even a Chinese server, its based in Tokyo and there are many nationalities that play there from Japanese to Koreans to SEA to Australians and so on. Such a large and diverse playerbase should have access to our own moderation especially given RPG being based in America so understandably, RPG cannot respond as fast as we would like them to during major player incidents like this.

Volunteer player mods would be fine by me and many others. Responsible regulars that know what they are doing and to be honest, all we want them to do is take care of blatant cheaters and exploiters ASAP. That is all. Waiting multiple days, multiple primetimes, for silent action from RPG is a joke and RPG should be ashamed because an entire server's playerbase feels neglected and disrespected by this company's service.

And I fully expect this shameless neglect to continue until the SolTech playerbase is loud enough to make our voices heard. This message is not intended to offend nor antagonize RPG. I sincerely hope it is heard.

Thank you for reading.

Hey everyone. Please don't read the lack of public communication about issues like this as us not caring. We've been making/playing online games for years and as a developer understand how easily a game can be ruined by cheating, and as a player, how sh*tty of an experience it is. Over the past several days, we've been communicating directly with several community members not only about SolTech, but some activity that has been happening on the other region servers.

Over these past few days, we've been able to identify/detect/prevent several new/active cheat programs being used. With the latest round at about 5am (Pacific) this morning.

As we all know, this is an ongoing fight. We are making some changes internally, as well as with BattlEye to streamline our ability to react to cheaters and the programs they are using. In addition to this, please remember to report any unusual activity or blatant cheating to

https://help.daybreakgames.com/hc/en-us (you can select your preferred language in the top right of the game). I've also been reaching out to several members of the SolTech community directly via Twitter to contact me directly in addition to reporting on the link above.

Again, we take this very seriously. If you ever feel like we aren't, please feel free to call us out here.

Thanks,

Andy
