I have a very hard time telling blue from purple. If presented just one color that is blue or purple, I couldn't tell you which it is. I play as Vanu and so I changed all the Vanu to be a green color instead (including every squad in a platoon to be the same green color because it's hard finding more distinct colors that aren't going to just confuse me).
However, it doesn't seem to have affected the color of Spawn Beacons, the no-deploy zone of allied AMSs (which I think is still red - it does let you change the color of base no-deploy zones thankfully), player names in chat, and possibly another thing or two that I can't remember. When I see a spawn beacon out in the field I have no idea if it's my team's or an enemy NC spawn beacon unless I shoot it, but I don't want to be shooting allied spawn beacons. And if there are friendly deployed AMS around it can be hard for me me to tell on the minimap where I can and can't deploy my own AMS. When someone from NC/VS talks in chat I can't tell who is VS and who is NC unless there is a VS and NC chatting right next to each other. Anyone know if there is a way to change the color of these things? Something I could add to the ini possibly?
Also, mostly unrelated to color blindness, I can't easily differentiate the small outpost symbol from the large outpost one on the map. I wish that could be more distinct as well...
