Hey Reddit!

I know charity posts and requests are often unwelcomed and unsightly, but I thought it would be great to highlight Rogue Planet Games effort to raise $20,000 for sick and injured children with Extra Life.

Rogue Planet Games will also be doing a special live stream on the week leading up to Extra Life's Game Day on Saturday November 7th. There will also be events and giveaways as well as prizes for the entire community if we're able to reach the goal!

Even without the above, it's definitely a worthy cause and I hope that despite the recent unrest in the community we'll be able to come together as we did for the Escalation update and show what we're capable of as one united team <3

Appreciate you doing this, my dude. We still have some folks around (including me) from the last time we had an Extra Life team a few years ago, before the new studio, and we were actually the #1 fundraising team in all San Diego, and the #1 game studio in Southern California (not the biggest region around but includes some pretty gd huge studios in Orange County/LA who i won't name *cough* Blizzard & Riot *cough*). So it's a point of pride for us, along with being an awesome cause that everyone can get down with. The PS2 community was a HUGE help then, so it'll be awesome to get back at it with ya'll on the team!

We're still working on some of the prizes, but rest assured the Game Day stream in November will be pretty special. We'll have individual prizes but mostly we're leaning towards community incentives - rewards for everybody if we meet our goals. Looking forward to sharing more soon!
